Trump Puts Man Against the Wall to Get a Job! Or No Food Stamps! (Mon. 1/27/20)
I have Super Chats from Sunday that I didn’t get to… including a B-day shoutout to Jeanette K who told me to quit using “air quotes” so much.
Kobe died!
I was shocked to hear Kobe died. I didn’t believe it, because it was TMZ tweeting it out, and they give bad info a lot. I thought of my friend who’s lost all of his heros — he’d texted me the day that Michael Jackson died (Cernovich was right, Kobe dying is like when MJ died; I immediately felt it). He’s Chinese (I think… supposedly from Hong Kong by way of Vietnam, brought here by some Christian church [send them back!]) and has only like a few Asian heroes… debunking the false theory that blacks need black heroes.
Bruce Lee (1940-1973)
Elvis Presley (1935-1977)
Tupac Shakur (1971-1996)
Frank Sinatra (1915-1998)
Steve Irwin (1962-2006)
Michael Jackson (1958-2009)
Kobe Bryant (1978-2020)
He used to daydream about playing Kobe one-on-one.
I also thought of the conspiracy theories. He was about to expose the illuminati. IMO it’s sleazy to repeat allegations. Like all men — YES ALL MEN — he was accused of rape; and we’re to presume innocent unless (NOT UNTIL… it’s ‘UNLESS’) proven guilty. One of the white guys was like, he’s that black man who raped a white woman. NO PROOF. I’m with the men on this one. Yes, black-on-white rape is common, but YES, false allegations by women including whites is FAR MORE COMMON. So….
He died during the end of my show 9:45, reportedly. (I felt a disturbance in the force; j/k…) He should have been getting ready for Church with Jesse Lee Peterson. But noooo… He wanted to fly a black mamba helicopter (I might have made up that name).
Trump, the Wall, and Haters
Yesterday on my show I invited people to give their take on how Trump’s doing 3 years into his presidency (5 years to go!). My de facto producer Dielawn came up with the idea (shoutout, he’s scored some of the guests, Jesse got me some, and Mark from SD got me some…).
One person I know is always repeating this line that Trump built only 2.5 mi of new wall where no wall previously existed. First, I don’t know where he got that number. Second, I don’t believe it. Third, you guys need to scrutinize the liberal media; they’re wise to you; they know you want a wall, so they’re downplaying and lying about Trump’s accomplishments — they don’t want a wall and they don’t want Trump, and they’re not going to be honest.
At the end RC from NC or SC called in and claimed that Trump only just now started on the wall (which is a lie), and that only to get re-elected (so RC’s a mind-reader). He seemed to be blaming Trump for Virginia and CA attacking gun rights, and for infringing on freedom of speech (I guess with that college anti-BDS policy).
He pretended like he’s the kind of Trump supporter who’s “holding Trump’s feet to the fire.” I wonder how many letters and phone calls to the White House RC made?
He tried to make a bet with me, but I have no way of knowing how honest he’s gonna be, since he claimed, without evidence, that Trump waited to build the wall until JUST NOW only in order to get re-elected.
But I am accepting your reviews through the end of January, and we can talk about it.

Lana from Kentucky calls in showing her support for the President.
Lynn from Chicago calls in to comment about the man that James reported on who’s sob story was covered by the New York Times regarding welfare and working.
Food Stamps and Taking Care of People...
GOOD NEWS!... (Drudge) Cities Prepare for Food Stamp Cuts… (NY Times via MSN) Come April, able-bodied adults without children may lose their food stamps if they do not find work fast. A Trump administration rule change, long in the making, is about to become real, and by the administration’s own estimates, nearly 700,000 people across the country — 20,000 of them in Ohio, 3,000 alone in Cleveland and Cuyahoga County — will be dropped from the food-stamp rolls. EXCELLENT. Some guy Kevin McGowan who runs a local Ohio SNAP office (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, i.e. FOOD STAMPS), he said, “We’re not happy to do it. It is our job and we will fulfill our job.” WHATEVER.
To the Trump administration, record low unemployment and steady economic growth mean there is no time like the present to nudge people off federal assistance. Around 40 million people access the food-stamp program each year, nearly 3 million of them able-bodied, without children. Of those 3 million, around 2 million do not work.
“Millions and millions of people don’t need food stamps anymore,” President Trump declared this week at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. “They have jobs. They’re doing really well.”
For Carl Thomas, a 48-year-old with a high school degree (HE BLACK), it is not that simple. He spends most of his time holed up at a public library, making use of its internet access to apply for all of the jobs he can find.
Before 2016, when his mother died at age 84 of sepsis, he had spent most of his life caring for her [WONDER WHAT JESSE LEE PETERSON WOULD SAY ABOUT THAT! BETA!]. He has been job hunting ever since her death. Some employers want to see a lengthy work history and a college degree. Some are far away, and he does not have a car. [HIS MOTHER SET HIM UP!]
On the sixth day of every month, Mr. Thomas plans out how he is going to make his $194 in food assistance stretch. Coupons in hand, he walks or takes the bus to Walmart, Giant Eagle, and Dave’s Market to find the lowest prices on meat, vegetables and produce. He is ecstatic when seeded red grapes go on sale.
That lifeline could soon disappear. HE NEEDS TO CALL THE JESSE LEE PETERSON SHOW! Able-bodied adults with no children lose their food assistance if they fail to work 80 hours a month for three months in a three-year period unless they live in a state with a waiver. Under the looming changes, waivers from this work requirement, once common, will be much harder to come by.
Fourteen states, New York City and the District of Columbia have sued the Trump administration to block the new rules from going into effect in April, accusing the administration of doing an illegal end run around Congress. MAMA!
Cuyahoga County and its urban heart, Cleveland, are preparing for the worst. They will start by conducting two information fairs every month starting in February. They will also call and send mail to people, which “will explicitly tell them the ramifications of noncompliance,” Mr. Gowan said, while stressing that it is time to “achieve self-sufficiency.” RIGHT ON! LONG PAST TIME, TBH!
MORE NEWS
(Drudge) How California's homelessness surged… It’s an NBC article, they claim to know, I guess. There was a black van across the street, with a tent parked on the sidewalk next to it. (NBC News) “This is decades and decades of failures,” one expert said of the persistent homelessness crisis that continues to plague California. YEAH AN EXPERT. SMH. ANYTHING TO AVOID BLAMING THE PEOPLE IN CHARGE NOW AND IN CHARGE OVER THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS. Mayor Garcetti. Newsom. Etc.
