Eric Trump: Dems 'Milking' Crisis! (Mon, 5/18/20)
The Hake Report, Mon, 5/18/20: I love Eric Trump, and he’s right: Democrats (and media) are “milking” the crisis to hurt President Trump (and Americans) — and it’ll magically disappear after the election. CNN’s Jake Tapper doesn’t want to even consider that Democrat Governors (like Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan and RINO Larry Hogan of Maryland,) would do that, and of course HHS Sec. Alex Azar is being Politically Correct.
GREAT CALLS: Rick from Hampton, VA, talks about blacks escalating situations, such as Ahmaud Arbery apparently did. James argues with Earl from Michigan awhile — who defends the “Hands Up Don’t Shoot” lie and Obama. At the end, KT from Maryland is fed up with cops enforcing the rights-violating rules.
At the very end, James replays Eric Trump, tells about a Christian couple that got sick, and tells a quick story of nasty liberals making rude comments because James wasn’t wearing a mask while walking outdoors at a park by himself.

NEWS: At the beginning I showed pics of these crew members stuck on their cruise ships (referenced in Hake News, end of Hour 2). (Drudge / Miami Herald) 100,000 crew members still remain trapped at sea on cruise ships… (I did not talk more about it, though!)
I took a walk to the park the other day.
Got cussed at by a female (a white woman, or maybe Jewish, or maybe Hispanic, or maybe Asian — come to think of it, I don’t know — I wasn’t looking). And a beta father told his young son, “He’s not wearing a mask. He’s very selfish. He doesn’t care about anyone else but himself.” He said it pretty loudly so I could hear it — I had just walked way far away from them, giving ‘em plenty of space!
And as soon as the beta dad finished saying that, some woman I’d just seen out of the corner of my eye — walking the opposite direction way over on the other side of a short wall and hedge, said, Something-something “f***ing mask…” Nice, huh? Anger is bad for your health, woman! I didn’t turn around, just kept walking — ignoring both of them. I saw a park cop walking laps around the park and didn’t want MESS!
About this couple that got sick...
(Drudge / NY Post) Man who called it a 'fake crisis' gets infected, and issues a warning… (IMO NY POST LIKES TO CLOWN CHRISTIANS WITH THIS VIRUS. MY IMPRESSION.)
LOOKING AT HIS FB PAGE, HE LOOKS LIKE A CHRISTIAN, I DON’T THINK HE’D LIE. HE AND HIS WIFE BOTH PRETTY BIG, IN THEIR 30s or 40s I’D GUESS. AND HE’S A FORMER TRUCK DRIVER. OH GOSH BUT HE’S MARRIED TO A REVEREND! NOOOO! But he’s not an out-and-out liberal, I don’t think. SMH.
He said he thought it was hysteria. IT IS HYSTERIA! BUT YOU ALSO GOTTA PROTECT YOURSELF. AND DON’T BE FAT!
He said maybe he shoulda worn a mask. NO THE MASK DOESN’T PROTECT YOU, IT PROTECTS OTHERS FROM YOU!
I love Eric Trump…
I mean I don’t know him that well. But I like these quotes…. (Hope Act
CLIP: (Drudge / Axios) Eric Trump accuses Democrats of "milking" coronavirus lockdowns to win the election (in a Fox News clip with Judge Jeanine Pirro).
(Drudge / Wash. Post via Laredo’s LMT Online) Eric Trump claims coronavirus is Democratic hoax, will 'magically' vanish after the 2020 election. THAT’S A FAKE NEWS HEADLINE.
The far-left Wash. Post purposely misconstrues his comments: Eric Trump claimed Saturday that the coronavirus will "magically" vanish after the November election and allow the country to fully reopen - an assertion that has no basis in science and is contradicted by health experts worldwide.
"They think they are taking away Donald Trump's greatest tool, which is being able to go into an arena and fill it with 50,000 people every single time," the younger Trump said. "You watch, they'll milk it every single day between now and November 3. And guess what, after November 3, coronavirus will magically, all of a sudden, go away and disappear and everybody will be able to reopen."
The Biden campaign pushed back against Trump's comments, calling them "unbelievably reckless."
"We're in the middle of the biggest public health emergency in a century, with almost 90,000 Americans dead, 1.5 million infected, and 36 million workers newly jobless," said Biden communications director Kate Bedingfield in a statement. "So for Eric Trump to claim that the coronavirus is a political hoax that will 'magically' disappear is absolutely stunning and unbelievably reckless."
She also accused the Trump administration of being "desperate to do whatever they can to throw up a smoke screen to try to conceal his historic mismanagement of this crisis."
CLIP 12: (MediaIte) CNN’s Jake Tapper Confronts HHS (Health and Human Services) Sec. Alex Azar on Eric Trump’s Coronavirus Comments: ‘I Know You Know That’s Not True’...
MEANWHILE…
(Drudge) Governors hit with a flurry of legal challenges to lockdowns… THANK GOD! (Politico) State leaders are facing objections even as they begin lifting some restrictions.
They show a big pic of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI)... really Jake Tapper, you think that woman’s not motivated by spite and typical liberal female-minded overprotectiveness and hatred of the man, the father, the President, Trump!
The picture caption reads: Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's administration on Friday defended her stay-at-home order against a lawsuit brought by the GOP-controlled legislature.
OF COURSE IT’S ABOUT POLITICS ON THE PART OF THE LIBERALS, ALEX AZAR!
Article: The decision by Wisconsin’s Supreme Court on Wednesday to toss Gov. Tony Evers’ statewide shelter-in-place order set off a scramble in cities across the state to impose their own local restrictions. Elsewhere, bars and restaurants shut down by the order declared themselves open for business.
And legal challenges are continuing to pile-up across the country — even as governors who extend their state’s shelter-in-place orders begin peeling back some restrictions. The plaintiffs are business owners, aggrieved private citizens, pastors and in some cases, state legislators and legislatures.
The targets? Almost always Democratic governors or their top health appointees. OPPRESSIVE FEMALES AND FEMALE-MINDED LIBERAL MALES!
Already, more than a dozen states across the country have faced lawsuits over their lockdown mandates — although it’s not clear whether any will be as successful as the litigation filed by Wisconsin’s Republican-led Legislature.
In Michigan, Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s administration on Friday defended her unilateral extension of the state’s emergency declaration and its stay-at-home order against a lawsuit brought, as in Wisconsin, by the GOP-controlled Legislature after it voted to deny her an extension last month.
In California, Gov. Gavin Newsom is facing more than a dozen lawsuits challenging everything from beach to business closures. And earlier in May a coalition of business owners sued Maine Gov. Janet Mills, also a Democrat, seeking to end that state’s shelter-in-place order.
The lone pair of Republican governors facing such lawsuits, Maryland’s Larry Hogan and Ohio’s Mike DeWine, recently announced reopening plans that could potentially render pending lawsuits moot.

Rick from Hampton, VA makes some comments about the recent shooting of Ahmaud Arbery and uses this to make some comments about the black community.
Earl from Michigan calls in to chat about a few things James has said that Earl takes issue with.
KT from D.C. doesn’t support cops anymore, because they’re selfish — they only stand up for cops, but not the people’s constitutional rights amid this crisis. He called cops on store workers who were harassing him about his 2-year-old son not wearing a mask. They shrugged it off, yet setup a snitch line and took 400 calls on people not following the “rules.” SMH. James urges him to have more grace for the cops!
