Black Opinions on George Floyd, Minneapolis Cops (Thur 5/28/20)
The Hake Report, Thur 5/28/20: James explains about England vs Great Britain vs UK, and then gets to calls about the George Floyd (aka “Georgia Florida,” according to Earl) case in which the Minneapolis officer put his knee on the black male’s neck while holding him down for the ambulance to come, reportedly.
CALLERS: Earl believes it’s okay to have opinions, rather than suspend judgment until you know (as Jesse does). A black guy from Houston named Israel accuses white Americans of an inappropriate behavior that is more prevalent in other communities! Other callers talk about George Floyd as well, including Djevon from Canada who wonders why they called the ambulance for Floyd, and complains James sounds just like Jesse Lee Peterson.

Meme from Colonial times: “Put on your masks.” “Kiss our ***!”
FYI: I found a map: England vs. Great Britain vs. UK … The British Isles consist of Ireland and Great Britain. Ireland consists of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Great Britain consists of Scotland, England, and Wales. The United Kingdom consists of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. If you look at the map, it’s pretty interesting and becomes clearer, if you don’t follow the wording description!
Nick’s Caller Log
Earl from Michigan gives his two cents on George Floyd.
Israel from Houston, TX asks why James doesn’t use his platform to call out the mostly white pedophiles.
Bob from Chicago, IL says that the officer was putting no pressure on the neck of George Floyd. He encourages James, Nick, and Joel to test it out.
John from somewhere, perhaps AZ? — he has some interesting comments, I think. Nick forgot to take notes on his call.
Kenny from Idaho calls in about George Floyd. He says the black onlookers should be charged for not interfering with the police in order to prevent the death (which may have occurred anyway).
Djevon from Canada wonders why it’s so hard for James to admit that the cops were wrong.
