SHOW NOTES
Announcement: Guest tmrw! Jeff Charles will be back!
PREGNANT PEOPLE!
CDC Dir. Dr. “SCARED” Rochelle Walensky said the HHS org CDC said “pregnant people” should get vaccinated.
Reminds me of the far-left Trump-hating liberal nutcase JK Rowling getting lynched for jumping on the ridiculous “people who menstruate” phrase.
NOTE: Evil people want to muddy the water, and as one caller said, invert reality, deny reality — “denial, deceit, and delusion,” as the great Colin Flaherty calls it. Clarity, simplicity, black and white — it’s the way to go.
MORE WORK TO BE DONE
(Michael Tracey, Apr 23) These Robotically Similar Reactions To The Derek Chauvin Verdict Will Inspire You — NOT! Some woman can’t breathe, and a bunch of companies’ heads say “more work to be done” — even though the Chauvin case had 0 to do with imaginary “racism” nor even injustice. It was about smearing a white cop.
ATTACK ON COPS / AMERICA
BTW: Cracking down: Earlier this month, Attorney General Merrick Garland reversed a Trump-era policy that limited the DOJ from making changes within police departments. Now, Garland's signaling the Biden admin could act against those who've violated their oath to serve and protect.
(Apple News) In the nation’s incarceration capital (NEW ORLEANS), a new BLACK DA is freeing people from prison. (The Appeal)
Jason Williams is crying about excessive sentencing, obstacles to parole, and convictions made by non-unanimous juries.
THE COMMUNISTS ARE PRETENDING ‘MASS INCARCERATION’ IS A PROBLEM, WHEN WE HAVE AN UNDER-INCARCERATION PROBLEM.
Since he entered office in January, Williams has rolled out sweeping changes. He has granted new trials to nearly two dozen people convicted by split juries, announced he would no longer oppose parole applications, dropped his predecessor’s efforts to maintain life without parole sentences for people convicted when they were minors, and moved to secure the release of multiple wrongfully convicted people.
“There are innocent people in jail,” said Williams, who was elected in 2020 on a progressive platform. “There are people in jail for sentences that are far longer than they should be. … There are people who got convicted without a fair trial.” DOESN’T HAVE TO BE TRUE. JUST SAY IT.
This retrospective approach to addressing injustice is taking shape beyond Louisiana too; prosecutors like George Gascón in Los Angeles County and Marilyn Mosby in Baltimore have established resentencing units that have reviewed lengthy sentences and released those serving them.
The traditional focal point of conviction integrity units has been innocence claims.
JUSTICE FOR ASHLI BABBITT?
(The Epoch Times) Lawyer for Ashli Babbitt’s Family Says Lawsuit Will Be Filed Soon Against US Capitol Police
Attorney Terry Roberts told Newsmax [Rumble video courtesy of The Gateway Pundit] “the officer … could clearly see that she was not armed” and didn’t present an immediate threat. The officer also didn’t give ample warning before the shooting.
“This is a situation in which the officer could have easily arrested her if he had grounds to arrest her without using deadly force,” he said. “This was an egregious act of excessive force.”
He suggests the officer got off easy because the victim was a Trump supporter.
Roberts then added: “Witnesses confirm that the officer did not give Ashli a single verbal warning prior to firing. In fact, Ashli was not even aware that the officer was present, as he was located in the doorway of a room off to the side of her field of vision.” OH MAN.
But Mark Schamel, an attorney for the officer, said, “He fired only one shot at the only person who breached the locked doors [into the Speaker’s lobby] and makeshift barricade that had been erected. He did so after clearly identifying himself and ordering the mob not to come through the barricade,” Schamel said.
“He used tremendous restraint in only firing one shot, and his actions stopped the mob from breaking through and turning a horrific day in American history into something so much worse.” PSH. THAT’S MELODRAMA.
As you know: No charges were filed against the officer who shot Babbitt. The officer has not been identified publicly. Babbitt, a U.S. Air Force veteran, was unarmed when she tried to climb through one of the Capitol doors before the officer shot her.
