HOW MANY BROTHERS
(TMZ) DMX’s organs were failing; his life support decision loomed, and during the show headlines came out that he died!
I also heard our Cheryl from January in the recent Church clip: "Are you better than…?"
BOO HOO RACISM
(Pocket) Black guy Ray Fisher Opens Up About 'Justice League,' Joss Whedon and Warners: "I Don't Believe Some of These People Are Fit for Leadership" (Hollywood Reporter) Over the past year, the actor has assailed the filmmaker and studio in harsh-but-cryptic tweets for what he says was racist and inappropriate conduct: "I'm not so indebted to Hollywood that I haven't been willing to put myself out there."
Ever since June 2020, when he fired off a tweet accusing Joss Whedon of "gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable" conduct on the set of Justice League, the 33-year-old actor has used social media and a series of interviews to lob serious allegations of racist behavior and a cover-up at Warner Bros.
For Fisher, who plays Cyborg in the film, the issue is no longer so much what happened on the set in 2017, after director Zack Snyder was replaced by Joss Whedon, though he's ready to explain that, too. His unrelenting focus in recent months has been the way executives, first at the Warner film studio and then at its parent, WarnerMedia, handled allegations raised by himself and others.
….Katherine Forrest, a former federal judge who conducted the WarnerMedia probe, tells THRin a statement that in interviews with more than 80 witnesses, she found "no credible support for claims of racial animus" or racial "insensitivity." A WarnerMedia spokesperson notes that the company "made extraordinary effort to accommodate Mr. Fisher's concerns about the investigation and to ensure its fullness and fairness" and has "complete confidence in the investigation process and [Forrest's] conclusions."
Fisher was raised by a single mother and his grandmother in Lawnside, New Jersey — a community that he notes was the first self-governing Black municipality north of the Mason-Dixon Line. He says he felt a new sense of urgency to speak out when the pandemic hit and the Black Lives Matter protesters took to the streets.
To Fisher, who had few screen credits, playing the half-man, half-machine Cyborg — the first Black superhero in the DC film universe — was both a huge career break and a major responsibility. (Justice League was released in 2017, the year before Marvel broke ground with Black Panther.) He was mindful that the film was overseen almost entirely by white executives and filmmakers. *CRINGE*
BTW: ILL-GOTTEN GAIN
Tip from Bigg Bump:
(Dirt.com) Patrisse Khan-Cullors Buys Topanga Canyon Home
A secluded mini-compound tucked into L.A.’s rustic and semi-remote Topanga Canyon was recently sold for a tad more than $1.4 million to a corporate entity that public records show is controlled by Patrisse Khan-Cullors, 37-year-old social justice visionary and co-founder of the galvanizing and, for some, controversial Black Lives Matter movement.
Kahn-Cullors, a UCLA and USC graduate married about five years ago to social activist (and amateur boxer) Janaya Khan, co-founder of Black Lives Matter Toronto, created the #BlackLivesMatter hashtag in 2013 in response to George Zimmerman’s acquittal in the 2012 shooting of Trayvon Martin. Since then, the largely decentralized movement has been at the influential forefront on issues of police brutality and racially motivated violence against Black people, particularly in the wake of George Floyd’s killing last summer that sparked massive protests across the United States and around the globe. Kahn-Cullors’ published “When They Call You a Terrorist: A Black Lives Matter Memoir” in 2018.

QUEEN! She lied and said she didn’t hang up on JLP to me…
FAKE HATE CRIME
I saw this on Twitter, Fox News, and a couple emails.
Journalist Andy Ngô on Twitter: "Breaking: Last week, shocking racist messages appeared on the campus of @albioncollege in Mich., prompting a large response from the administration. The FBI was even put on standby. Today, Albion police announced that a black student admitted to the crimes."
Far-left Michigan-based Albion College on Twitter: "We stand together with our Black students, alumni, faculty, staff and broader community members in condemning the recent acts of racism on campus. Hatred and injustice have no place at Albion, and will not be tolerated. (1/4)…"
BIDEN GOING FOR GUNS
He’s so off the far-left liberal fact checkers are embarrassed. https://twitter.com/i/events/1380287306469273604
ATTACK ON MEN
(Pocket) Only Congress Could Give Us a Matt Gaetz SMH
(The Atlantic) Government has none of the measures in place that other workplaces do to deal with bad behavior.
First, there’s reportedly a federal criminal investigation into ... 38-year-old Gaetz .... Second, Gaetz has alleged that he is the subject of an extortion attempt related to this investigation. Third, CNN reports that Gaetz showed House colleagues ... photos ... sometimes even on the House floor.
Gaetz also screamed at then-Representative Cedric Richmond during a June 2020 hearing. PSH!
..Congress has none of the measures in place that other workplaces do to deal with bad behavior. There’s no HR department, so when members misbehave, there’s no one to handle it. In theory, the House and Senate ethics committees can investigate and punish members, but in practice they are reluctant to punish their colleagues, and anyway, there are few real punishments short of expulsion. Nor are there bosses. The Ryan staff meeting may seem like a weak response, but the speaker has little real control, either. (Just ask Ryan’s predecessor, John Boehner.)
