49 Shot During Father's Day Weekend in Mayor Lightfoot's Chicago

(Breitbart) five fatally….

Saturday night 9:15 p.m., “a man and a woman were ambushed” by three. The 24-year-old man was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead while the 25-year-old female was hospitalized in critical condition.

On Sunday morning around 1 a.m. a 32-year-old woman in a vehicle was fatally shot by a gunman in another vehicle.

Less than an hour later, at 1:40 a.m., a 21-year-old was shot and killed while driving a Jeep.

The Chicago Tribune observed a total of 1,587 people were shot January 1, 2021, through June 14, 2021. That figure represents fatal and non-fatal shootings combined and means 195 more people were shot in 2021 than were shot during the same time-frame in 2020.

Juneteenth Celebrations Around the Nation Marred by Shootings, Death

I saw a clip on Azzmador's Telegram, and I heard from the JLP show:

(Breitbart) — in Oakland, California; Aurora, Colorado; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Clover, South Carolina; and Flint, Michigan. TRUE FREEDOM, YES!

ABC News reports that Oakland’s Juneteenth celebration at Lake Merritt was interrupted by gunfire at 6:22 p.m. When the shots ended, seven shooting victims were discovered, included a 22-year-old man who was killed in the incident.

The Aurora Juneteenth celebration was brought to a violent end when multiple shooters unleashed 114 rounds on attendees, wounding four and killing one.

KKTV notes the “Public Safety Dispatch Center received at least 50 calls for service” regarding the Aurora attack.

Two people were killed in a shooting that erupted after a concert in Baton Rouge.

ABC News pointed out that the shooting occurred in a parking lot, following a fight, and multiple guns were involved.

WSOC-TV reports two separate shootings at Juneteenth Celebration in Clover, South Carolina. One of the shootings resulting in three people being wounded, including a 17-year-old boy. The other shooting involved a car pulling up beside a vehicle in which a family was traveling and opening fire.

Also on Juneteenth, a 19-year-old woman was shot and killed after allegedly shooting at a police officer in Flint, Michigan.

Breitbart News reported that the woman was taken to the hospital after the incident, but succumbed to her wounds.

A City of Flint Police Department press release says, “Preliminary investigation indicates the officer, who was working a traffic point for the Juneteenth Celebration, was fired upon by the lone occupant of a vehicle who drove up to him at the traffic point. Upon taking fire, the officer returned fire, striking the suspect.”

Angelina Jolie: Climate Change to Force Millions into Refugee Status

(Breitbart) Marvel Studios’ Eternals star Angelina Jolie made a fly in-fly out visit to a remote camp in Burkina Faso on Sunday to address refugees who have fled Islamic jihadist violence in the region, warning them the threat of climate change is real and could lead millions to a fate like theirs.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Special Envoy, age 46, donned a headscarf as she delivered a speech to the troubled West African nation to mark World Refugee Day, confiding she would “bow my head in respect for your courage and strength.”

SIDE NOTE: FIGHTING MIGRANTS

Breitbart shared a tweet in 2016: "Migrants Riot and Fight over Free Food 24 Hours After Angelina Jolie Visit" their article reported the incident in Greece.

Dozens of migrants are rioting over free food handed out outside a football stadium in Greece, with reports of injuries near the Piraeus port where nearly 5,000 migrants are living at the passenger terminals.

Local Greek media reports state that rioting began shortly after 7pm, when around 30 people started fighting each other while lining up to receive free food from the Olympiakos Football Club.

Piraeus Port Authority coast guard officers attended the scene to separate Afghan and Syrian migrants fighting each other.

The news comes on the same day of reporting migrant-on-migrant stabbings in the area.

The incident has occurred just 24 hours after movie star Angelina Jolie was caught in a crush of around 4,000 people wanting to see her visiting migrants in the port of Piraeus.

ekathimerini.com reports:

Three men received non-life threatening stab wounds during a brawl between Afghan refugees at Piraeus port early on Thursday morning.

Port authorities have launched an investigation into the incident that involved around 20 asylum seekers in a passenger terminal that is being used as a refugee shelter.

BACK TO HER MESS

As Breitbart News reported, in 2017 she defended both in a lengthy speech at U.N. offices in Geneva, where the actress and humanitarian warned of a “rising tide of nationalism” in the West “masquerading as patriotism.”

Jolie is also a dedicated campaigner warning the world of the dangers of “climate change” and exhorting nations to change their ways to avert global disaster as she flies around the wrold.

In a nearly 20 minute-long address, Jolie said as an American citizen, she sees a global environment “more troubling and uncertain” than at any time in her lifetime.

“We are grappling with a level of conflict and insecurity that seems to exceed our will and capabilities,” Jolie said, “with more refugees than ever before, and new wars erupting on top of existing conflicts, some already lasting decades.”

“We see a rising tide of nationalism, masquerading as patriotism, and the re-emergence of policies encouraging fear and hatred of others,” she added.

The Tomb Raider star said she is keen to help “empower” those who are trying to make a change, while standing with the poor and leading them on to a new life of peace, love and bountiful prosperity in a new world of caring and sharing.
