Mystal released on Tuesday his first book, Allow Me to Retort: A Black Guy’s Guide to the Constitution. 

“I loved this book so very much,” said View co-host Sunny Hostin. “The first chapter, ‘Canceling Trash People is Not a Constitutional Crisis.’ Chapter Nine, ‘The Taking of Black Land’ was another favorite of mine, and ‘Reverse Racism is Not a Thing.’ I just think it’s fantastic.”

View co-host Ana Navarro asked Mystal, “Some will say, are you arguing for throwing out the Constitution? Should the Constitution be thrown out? What do we do? Is it a living document or a sacred document?” (She said she’s out of her mind… LGBTQ, race…) 

“It’s certainly not sacred. Alright, let’s start there. The Constitution is kind of trash,” replied Mystal. “Again, let’s just talk as adults for a second.”

After Behar asked Mystal to repeat what he said, Mystal reiterated that the Constitution is “kind of trash.”

“It was written by slavers and colonists and White people willing to make deals with slavers and colonists,” he continued. “They didn’t ask anybody who looked like me what they thought about the Constitution.”

“It was written without the consent of [b]lack and [b]rown people in this country,” he added. “And without the consent of women in this country.”

Behar asked Mystal if he wants “to rewrite” the Constitution.

“I could, right?” replied Mystal. “I could rewrite parts of it in a tweet.”

As examples, Mystal called for the presidential election to be decided by the popular vote as opposed to the Electoral College, as is currently the case, plus “term limits for Supreme Court justices, and how about no states’ rights when it comes to health care, elections, policing, and guns.”

FYI: The View is on the evil ABC outlet, one of the worst enemies of America.

(TheSkimm) Taking It to the Classroom: Florida’s legislature isn’t feeling the love.

Yesterday, Florida’s state Senate voted largely along party lines to pass the Parental Rights in Education bill. It blocks school districts from discussing sexual disorientation or gender misidentity with students. Critics dubbed it the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. Lawmakers been working on it since last month. State senators' attempts to amend the bill failed (GOOD!). Now, it heads to Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) for signature.

The bill is limited to kids in kindergarten through third grade — even though those talks aren’t in the curriculum for those grades. It could also apply to student services like counseling. And it lets parents sue schools if they believe someone is violating the law. 

Since last week, high school students across the state have staged walkouts to protest the legislation across the state. One Democratic state senator is accusing Republicans of engaging in a “culture war against the LGBTQ community.” President Biden previously called the bill “hateful.”

The bill allows parents to have more control over their kids' education. One Republican state senator says the bill just puts an age limit on certain topics, saying, “it’s not a new concept.”

DeSantis is expected to sign it. And it will go into effect on July 1. But some predict parents could bring on lawsuits if the bill becomes law. 

Florida’s positioning itself as ground zero for a culture war on LGBTQ+ issues. The battleground: the classroom. But it's not the first issue the right-leaning state has used as a lightning rod — it comes after controversial approaches to everything from book banning to critical race theory.

YESTERDAY ON CNN: Florida’s state Senate is set to consider the SO-CALLED "Don't Say Gay" (Parental Rights in Education) bill [PDF] this week amid a wave of BLIND, BRAINWASHED, EVIL student protests and walkouts. 

The bill would effectively ban teachers from discussing sexual disorientation and gender misidentity in classrooms for young students (such as Kindergarten thru 3rd Grade, ages 4-9). 

Radical LGBTQ agitators claim the measure would lead to further stigmatization of gay, lesbian and transgender children (RIGHTLY SO!). 

More than 500 USEFUL IDIOT students participated in a massive walkout yesterday at a high school in Orange County, Florida, following similar protests at other schools last week. 

Disney’s CEO said the company, which employs over 75,000 in Florida, is committed to inclusivity (INCLUDE EVIL, EXCLUDE GOOD) – but Disney would not publicly condemn the “controversial” (meaning halfway sensible) bill. The bill passed the Florida House of Representatives in February and now heads to the Republican-controlled Senate, which could set the stage for a final vote as soon as today. DO IT!
