Election News from The Epoch Times
I didn’t get to this stuff from Hake News, Hr2
Hostile Reaction in Detroit Forced Election Official Into Hiding
I READ ABOUT THIS IN HAKE NEWS… Remember: Trump had called the lady Monica Palmer (who’s on the Wayne County Board of Canvassers, who initially voted AGAINST certifying the election results).
William Hartmann worked with a friend [AND COPS] to retrieve some clothes and his computer from his home.
“He arranged with the local police department to have an unmarked van and a couple police cars go to my house. I gave him the key and I stayed in a remote location and we communicated using FaceTime … and I told them what to get,” Hartmann said.
“So they did that. And then, the police cars sort of blocked in the news media vans. And then the other van—they had taken the license plates off just so that they couldn’t be tracked down—and that drove different ways till they got to where I was. And then I got all my stuff and I drove back to where I was staying.”
He was doxxed and some blue-check-mark @DelWilber* tried to show that he’s a Republican who mocked Obama with memes.

GA Sends Letters to Out-of-State Voters Asking for Mail Ballots
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger sent thousands: The letters inform them that a person who casts a ballot in Georgia elections without possessing the qualifications are committing a felony under Georgia law. FOR THE UPCOMING RUNOFF, Jan 5(?)…
Convictions can yield sentences of up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $100,000.
Not all of the voters identified by Raffensperger’s office are acting illegally, necessarily. Members of the military stationed in other parts of the country or students who are temporarily out of state for college could legitimately request ballots.
All Eyes on Congress as Lawmakers Vow to Oppose Electoral Votes
January 6th! Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) was the first to say he’s gonna challenge Electoral College votes that day.
President Donald Trump turned up the heat on the event by calling on his supporters to descend on Washington on Jan. 6 for a protest.
“Be there, will be wild!” he wrote on Twitter.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has acknowledged former Vice President Joe Biden as the SO-CALLED "president-elect" amid standing legal challenges by President Donald Trump to the results of the elections in the seven states.
McConnell also has urged Republican senators to not join in on the challenge, arguing that it will create harmful optics for the party. To the lawmakers who plan to stand up for Trump, the opposite is true.
Several House Republicans have joined Brooks in saying they’ll challenge the electoral votes, including Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) and four representatives-elect who will begin their terms on Jan. 3, 2021: Moore, Bob Good (R-Va.), Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.), and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.). Brooks said there are more than enough House members on board to challenge each of the seven disputed states.
One member of the House and one senator are required to lodge a challenge; no senators have committed to joining the challenge.
Five senators, including Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Sen.-elect Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.), have indicated they are open to joining the challenge.
Self-important female liberal nurses / "doctors" on Twitter
(Twitter) Bruh Moments on Twitter: "… " this female nurse (or whatever she is) trashing a guy getting people healthy and fit, and bruh5moments__ on her bf. (BTW: She had a whole USA Today / Nashville Tennessean article about her Dec 5 — the reactions to the tweet are funny.)
BTW: Reminds me of Rihanna
BTW: This Kathryn Ivey girl’s Covid-nurse face reminds me of Rihanna’s supposedly beaten-up face. She plays victim, but somehow you don’t feel sorry for her. 2017 (The Sun) In a documentary Chris Brown tells his side, saying she kicked and hit him, and wasn’t peaceful when he revealed he cheated on her with another woman; he said they’d hit each other. Don’t forget the 2018 Snapchat flashback to the 2009 incident (Vox) Snapchat ran an ad asking users if they’d rather slap Rihanna or punch Chris Brown… Liberal Vox writer Alex Abad-Santos says he pleaded guilty to felony assault.
Comics
(Twitter) ShirlyWhirlMD on Twitter: "I drew this comic about #COVID19 months ago. It's bizarre to read it now. Feels like all of the fears I had re: another surge have been realized. (1/3)…" ShirlyWhirlMD on Twitter: "(2/3) #Covid19 almost seems...normal now. So many of my primary care patients have recovered from it. We've just accepted this preventable, deadly thing into our homes and let it make its bed here.…" @shirlywhirlmd tweeted: "(3/3) One of the worst things is looking at the death toll that I ref and realize that that number has increased dramatically since then. It was unacceptable to me then and has only gotten worse."
But nurses WANT vaccines!
More from ShirlyWhirlMD: Covid Vaccine photo. disappointed comic. (Victim: devalued by the public)
Pro-vaxx female dr, Asian: @lindaliumd: Imagine believing in covid vaccine conspiracy theories... and then seeing pics of hundreds of frontline physicians literally protesting because they WANT to be vaccinated but were not prioritized. Proud of you Stanford docs. We support you.
That lady blocked me for quote-tweeting her with an eye-roll.
Nonbinary transgender in CDC handling vaccine strategy
(Revolver) CDC vaccine strategy crafted by “non-binary” “defund the police” activist who claims “they” live on “occupied Mvskoke land” … Genderqueer atrocity rigged model to favor younger, browner people at no risk from COVID… Lunatic (or murderous?) “woke” model could cause thousands of unnecessary deaths in elderly whites…
That’s @jo_walker_ATL on Twitter.
Abortion sickos and she/hers
Abortion MD: @ShrutiPatelMD (Oct 8): Giving ambulatory morning report on one of my favorite topics in #primarycare, #contraception!! Contraception should be discussed with anyone with reproductive potential, regardless of gender or sex. Also, BIRTH CONTROL IS BASIC HEALTH CARE.
She quote-tweeted this and tweeted recently: @ShrutiPatelMD: Today’s ambulatory report is on Pregnancy in #PrimaryCare!
- early sx of preg
- navigating conversations about unintended pregnancy
- term preg, abortion, and adoption
- misconceptions about emergency contraception & abortion
- if ethical objections, how to refer #MedTwitter
I notice all these females put "MD" in their Twitter handle for clout and political sway. Something’s wrong with Twitter users, I think we’re all the most obnoxious, self-important, egotistical people. SMH.
Covid death on a plane
Facebook content moderators
(The Verge, Feb 25, 2019, Casey Newton @CaseyNewton) The secret lives of Facebook moderators in America – Content warning: This story contains discussion of serious mental health issues and racism. (h/t Milo on Telegram)
These people smoke weed and have sex at work while making decisions about whether you can say this or that, or even have an account or page that you’ve built for years.
NOT A JOB FOR AN EMOTIONAL WOMAN.
(JLP lost access to The Jesse Lee Peterson Show, Official Jesse Lee Peterson, and The Fallen State, all three pages with well over 200k likes and follows, maybe more.)
Some of these people are converting: A flat earther. A Holocaust narrative critic. A 9/11 narrative doubter. Sooo funny.
Mutated covid, oooOOOo
(CNN) More countries are banning travelers from the UK in an effort to contain a mutated variant of Covid-19 that could spread even faster (OH GOSH). British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to chair an emergency meeting about the new variant today. Scientists in the US and UK still expect the vaccine to work against the variant, saying they should know more in a few days.
In the US, the first doses of Moderna's coronavirus vaccine will likely be administered this morning -- older adults and “frontline worker” (cringe-y term) are next in line. Despite the good news, cases and deaths are skyrocketing in much of the US, and things will get worse before they get better.
They want you unhealthy!
(The Epoch Times) Gallup Poll: Americans’ Mental Health Hits 20-Year Low Ahead of Renewed Lockdowns
Liberal, perhaps homosexual writer Brad Polumbo writes: In California and other parts of the country, Americans are headed back to lockdown or otherwise facing renewed restrictions on their day-to-day lives amid another spike of COVID-19. Yet a new Gallup poll shows these lockdowns come as people are already struggling with their mental health.
“Americans’ latest assessment of their mental health is worse than it has been at any point in the last two decades,” Gallup reports.
The new polling found that 34 percent of respondents said their mental health was “excellent,” which is 9 points down from 2019. Similarly, 85 percent of Americans had rated their mental health as “good or excellent” in 2019. Just 76 percent did this year.
As Jon Miltimore previously explained for FEE.org, the Centers for Disease Control found that 1 in 4 young Americans considered suicide this past summer amid life under lockdown and unprecedented levels of social isolation. In one anecdote that painfully demonstrates this broader trend, a California hospital doctor told local news in May that during lockdown he witnessed “a year’s worth of suicide attempts in the last four weeks.”
Tweets from August
Phil Kerpin tweeted Phil Kerpen on Twitter: "CDC: 25.5% of Americans age 18 to 24 seriously considered suicide in the past 30 days. 16% of age 25 to 44." And he shared a PDF: Mental Health, Substance Use, and Suicidal Ideation During the COVID-19 Pandemic — United States, June 24–30, 2020
He also shared: Phil Kerpen on Twitter: "the best historical comparison we have.... These numbers, however, were for a question asking have you seriously considered suicide in the past 12 months. The new survey asked past 30 days." And he shared another PDF: Key [SAMSA = Substance Use and Mental Health Services Administration] Indicators in the United States: Results from the 2018 National Survey on Drug Use and Health Showing 6.8 in 2008, 8.3 in 2015, 11 in 2018 (suicidal thoughts in past year), now supposedly 25 in 2020 (past 30 days).
Not handling being alone right is bad
Negative health effects, both physical and mental, of social isolation are well-documented. Consider this report from The New York Times:
“A wave of new research suggests social separation is bad for us. Individuals with less social connection have disrupted sleep patterns, altered immune systems, more inflammation and higher levels of stress hormones. One recent study found that isolation increases the risk of heart disease by 29 percent and stroke by 32 percent.
“Another analysis that pooled data from 70 studies and 3.4 million people found that socially isolated individuals had a 30 percent higher risk of dying in the next seven years, and that this effect was largest in middle age.
Loneliness can accelerate cognitive decline in older adults, and isolated individuals are twice as likely to die prematurely as those with more robust social interactions. These effects start early: Socially isolated children have significantly poorer health 20 years later, even after controlling for other factors. All told, loneliness is as important a risk factor for early death as obesity and smoking.”
Get some exercise!
(The Epoch Times) Dangers of a Sedentary COVID-19 Lockdown (by James McKendry, Dec 18) Inactivity can take a lasting toll on our health with muscle loss in just 2 weeks (how about 10 years!)
While most people are aware of the benefits of physical activity—increased muscle and strength, reduced risk of disease, better quality of life, and a lower risk of death—we tend to be less aware of how damaging and expensive reduced physical activity can be.
We are all familiar with the loss of muscle and strength as you get older (known as sarcopenia). We have all heard older family members say, “I’m just not as strong as I used to be,” or “I just can’t do that anymore.” But did you know that inactivity can make muscle loss a whole lot worse?
