(YouTube Blog) Supporting the 2020 US election
Updates to our work supporting the integrity of the 2020 U.S. election.
(The Epoch Times) YouTube to Delete Content Alleging Presidential Election Fraud
I WAS going to cover this: (The Epoch Times) Election Fraud Allegations: Infographic … But now I don’t know what to do!
Text from YouTube’s blog:
…. Our Community Guidelines prohibit spam, scams, or other manipulated media, coordinated influence operations, and any content that seeks to incite violence. …
Yesterday was the safe harbor deadline* [WHICH IS NOT IN THE CONSTITUTION] for the U.S. Presidential election and enough states have certified their election results to determine a President-elect. Given that, we will start removing any piece of content uploaded today (or anytime after) that misleads people by alleging that widespread fraud or errors changed the outcome of the 2020 U.S. Presidential election, in line with our approach towards historical U.S. Presidential elections. For example, we will remove videos claiming that a Presidential candidate won the election due to widespread software glitches or counting errors. We will begin enforcing this policy today, and will ramp up in the weeks to come. As always, news coverage and commentary on these issues can remain on our site if there’s sufficient education, documentary, scientific or artistic context.

What is safe harbor?
(USA Today) Safe harbor deadline arrives, hurting Trump's bid to overturn election
They seem to have changed the headline to: An important Electoral College deadline has passed. Here's why that's bad news for Trump
By Joey Garrison, USA TODAY, published 4 AM Dec 8, updated after midnight Dec 9.
"With each day that passes, particularly once the safe harbor deadline has passed, the possibility of changing the result becomes more and more remote," said Rebecca Green, director of William and Mary School of Law's election law program. "Without credible evidence to support the idea that there's a problem, it just becomes less and less likely that anyone is going to disrupt the schedule as it unfolds in state statutes and federal law."
The New York Slimes says similar: The Nation Reached ‘Safe Harbor.’ Here’s What That Means.: Subtitle: President Trump’s efforts to overturn the presidential election are nearing the end of the line.
Keyword: NEARING the end of the line. What’s YouTube’s rush? They hate Trump.
Phillip Kline @PhillDKline, Fmr Attorney General of Kansas / DA. Director, Amistad Project of the Thomas More Society. Professor, Liberty University. @falkirk_center @got_freedom51 tweeted on Dec 7: These "Safe Harbor" dates are not required by the constitution.
We need more time to investigate this election.
The ONLY Electoral College deadline specifically required by the Constitution is noon on January 20, at which point Trump’s first term officially ends.
Meanwhile in reality:
Texas AG Hopes Supreme Court Will Take Up Election Case and Hear Arguments
Pennsylvania issues jaw-dropping response to Supreme Court on election fraud lawsuit … “even if laws were broken, they shouldn’t interfere” … I’d heard something like this yesterday while reading the news about the PA case that got thrown out.
