“People don’t change much...”
My mother was telling me “he’s getting better.” And my dad chuckled and was like, “People don’t change much.”
Trump said of Ben Carson who took a hammer to his mother’s head once, that people don’t really change, if you take a child molester…?
Are you changing? Young people sometimes change certain habits and wildness but they either go back to it or their personality isn’t much different. Still stingy if stingy. Some “born-agains” quit drinking, drugs or smoking. Or start smoking to avoid drinking and other drugs. Or turn super judgmental and angry and hard to be around…
I didn’t get to this stuff yet...
News...
Kenny Rogers died at 81! He’s the Country(?) singer who sang that song The Gambler: “You’ve got to know when to hold ‘em, know when to fold ‘em, know when to walk away, know when to run. You never count your money when you’re sitting at the table. There’ll be time enough for countin’ when the dealin’s done…” Something like that! I may have the lyrics wrong. In Temple City they once had a Kenny Rogers’ Roasters — it was like a chicken place. That was before I knew it was him who wrote the song.
