Anti-Trump establishment “conservative” writer Nancy French (married to NRO’s David French) writes in the far-left Washington Post an article with the headline: “Christianity Today's op-ed isn't attacking Trump. It's defending Christianity” (shared by Stamford Advocate). She says Mark Galli is retiring in January, and he “decided to go out with a bang by expressing an unpopular sentiment among much of the religious right in an op-ed titled "Trump Should Be Removed from Office," which took off on social media, briefly caused the magazine's website to crash and drew” a “lamentably predictable” negative response from Trump.
Trump told the truth BTW, they’re far-left, and Trump is more Christian than any of his haters, including Mark Galli, who went on the anti-Christian, anti-American CNN to smear Trump’s good character. He also went on CBS’s Face the Nation on Sunday, which is another liberal outlet. Hake reported last week that Mark Galli smeared Trump’s great character over the president’s personal ancient history, his excellent Twitter feed, and his perfect Ukraine phone call. WHAT A PHONY, HUH?
A December NPR-PBS NewsHour-Marist poll found that 80% of white evangelical Christians oppose the Senate removing Trump from office (WHAT’S WRONG WITH 20% of white Christians?), compared to 49% of the public overall.
Hugh Hewitt writes in Wash. Post that Mark Galli’s column “has attracted so much love from the secular left.” He says Galli blindsided more than half of the evangelical Christians “The entire enterprise – the magazine plus online platform – will suffer even as Galli heads out to retirement in January. But Trump will not.”
“Christianity Today is a nonprofit, global media ministry centered on Beautiful Orthodoxy – strengthening the church by richly communicating the breadth of the true, good, and beautiful gospel,” proclaims the magazine’s mission statement. “Reaching over five million people monthly with various digital and print resources, the ministry equips Christians to renew their minds, serve the church, and create culture to the glory of God.” BARF!
ANYWAY, BACK TO REALITY… (Drudge) Trump has installed 187 judges to federal bench... and counting! He’s Filling the liberal 9th Circuit with conservatives… The evil Wash. Post headline complains, warning their fellow far-left liberals that “Trump is remaking the judiciary” (the article is shared by the SF Gate). Trump nominees make up 1 in 4 U.S. circuit court judges. Two of his picks sit on the Supreme Court. And this past week, as the House voted to impeach the president, the Republican-led Senate confirmed another 13 district court judges. Just last week, the 5th Circuit struck down a core provision of the Affordable Care Act. One of the two appellate judges who ruled against the landmark law was a Trump appointee. NICE!
The far-left Politico writes that The Senate confirmation of Lawrence VanDyke and Patrick Bumatay to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals this month brought to nine the number of appointments President Donald Trump has made to the 29-member bench that serves as the last stop for nearly all legal complaints lodged in nine Western states. Democratic-appointed judges now hold a three-seat majority, compared with 11 at the start of Trump's presidency.
I reported last week: So far, Trump has appointed 50 judges to circuit court benches. Comparatively, by this point in President Barack Obama's first term, he had confirmed 25. At the end of his eight years, he had appointed 55 circuit judges.
Liberals are still mad that Sen. Maj. Ldr. Mitch McConnell refused to allow Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland, Obama's choice to replace the late Justice Antonin Scalia, a confirmation hearing, let alone a vote. BETA LIBERALS!
Trump has called the 9th Circuit “a complete and total disaster" and a "big thorn in our side," and some congressional Republicans still threaten to break up its jurisdiction.

And it plans on being No. 1… (CNBC) China is on the cusp of keeping a big promise — a vow to double its GDP and income in a decade and take the country to the forefront of the global economic power structure. The ascension began in the late 1970s with a move to more open markets. It continued through aggressive central planning, taking advantage of of cheap labor, a devalued currency and a robust factory system to spread its products around the world. All of that changed the economy from slumbering rural decay to a prospering diverse superpower. The country now seems on a inexorable path to No. 1. China has climbed to No. 2 in the world, with a GDP of $13.1 trillion that, while still trailing the U.S., keeps getting closer. Forecasters expect that growth just north of 6% in 2020 will get to the stated goal of doubling the economy from 2011-20. Growth peaked at 14.2% in 2007 but has declined to below 7% annually each year since 2015, according to World Bank figures.
(Drudge) CHICAGOLAND: 13 shot inside memorial party for gunshot victim… (Chicago Tribune) Mayor Lori Lightfoot said that the Shooting that injured 13, four of them critically, at a memorial party in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood was 'an act of cowardice' (OH YEAH, REAL AUTHORITY, LORI… RME LESBIAN!) More people were wounded in the shooting than at any other in the city since at least 2013, when 13 people were shot in Back of the Yards, according to data gathered by the Tribune.
The violence began about 12:40 a.m. at a house party. The injured ranged in age from 16 to 48, and a 16-year-old boy was one of those in critical condition, though it was later improved to “serious,” according to police. Two people remained in critical condition as of Sunday afternoon, a 40-year-old man who’d been shot in the chest, and a 21-year old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the back, each in separate hospitals. On Sunday night, police announced a charge of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon against Marciano White, 37, saying that he was seen leaving the scene holding a bag across his body and attempted to flee when officers tried to talk to him.
The party was in honor of Lonell Irvin, a 22-year-old man fatally shot during an attempted carjacking April 26. THAT’S A LONG TIME AGO! Irvin was wielding his own gun when he attempted to carjack a man with a license to carry a concealed handgun, who police said grabbed his weapon from the glove compartment and shot Irvin in the head. Authorities at the time categorized the shooter, who likely was rear-ended in a ploy to steal his 2015 BMW, as the victim in the incident. WHAT A MESS!
And the BALTIMORE SUN quotes Mayor Bernard C. “Jack” Young saying, 'Completely unacceptable’: a violent weekend includes a mass shooting of 7 downtown… outside a hookah lounge early Sunday morning, and 3 homicides. Two unidentified men — one armed with a rifle and the other, a handgun — approached a crowd of people standing in line outside around 1:45 a.m. and opened fire.
Elsewhere in Baltimore, a woman was shot to death late Sunday afternoon in a Patterson Park deli, following the Saturday evening shooting deaths of a woman in a McElderry Park hair salon and, three hours later and not far away, of a 21-year-old man. All three shootings were within a handful of blocks of one another.
NO ARRESTS as of Sunday! Attackers are brazen!

(Drudge) EXODUS: California population growth slowest since 1900… as residents leave and immigration decelerates. AND HOMELESSNESS EXPLODES! (Los Angeles Times) The state population grew by 141,300 people (0.35%) to 39.96 million, July 2018-July 2019, “down from 0.57% for the prior 12 months — the two lowest recorded growth rates since 1900,” according to the Department of Finance, with data showing mostly downward trends. They are rooted in fewer births, coupled with increased deaths among an aging population. Los Angeles County saw a 17% decline in the amount of children in the area over the last decade — NO WONDER L.A. IS SO SELFISH! WHOA! Some expert at USC says the fewer number of babies is “worrisome.” He says it’s not sustainable, and we may become a retirement community by the sea.
There are also changes in international migration, and more and more residents leaving the state. We had a substantial negative domestic net migration, with a net loss of 39,500 residents. This marks “the first time since the 2010 census that California has had more people leaving the state than moving in from abroad or other states.” The most common destinations for those leaving the state were Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Texas and Washington. Aside from a lower cost of living, some Californians are drawn to areas with no state income tax. A guy at Brookings institute said that the state has “lost its luster a little bit.” Hake says it’s lost it’s luster a LOT a bit.

"They are able to buy vehicles, weapons, food supplies and equipment.Technologically they're more savvy.” He claims ISIS is also far more difficult to target as they have gone into hiding in Iraq's Hamrin Mountains. "It's a long range of mountains, and very difficult for the Iraqi army to control. There are a lot of hide-outs and caves."
U.S. Brigadier General William Seely, Commander of Task Force-Iraq, said local forces on the ground are better prepared than in 2014 when ISIS gained control of a third of Iraq and took Mosul. "The ISF [Iraqi security forces] and the Peshmerga are not the same forces as when Mosul fell," he said. "We have been here adding to their training. The ISF is keeping their foot on the pedal to ensure the momentum against Daesh [ISIS] remains steady." In October, the Pentagon ordered 1,000 troops deployed in Syria to head to Iraq to battle the ISIS comeback.
A car bomb exploded earlier today, killing two soldiers and wounding another; there’s been a string of attacks. Terror experts have warned jihadi ideas now have a “solid base" in western countries such as Britain, Germany and France, reports the Daily Star Online.

(Fox News) Anti-Semitism in US linked to BDS movement, new NGO-backed report finds. A new report, obtained Sunday by Fox News, has exposed what it called “unprecedented similarities between the BDS [The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions] movement and far-right groups to propagate anti-Semitism in the United States.” The 120-page report, titled “The New Anti-Semites” (NO SUCH THING AS ANTI-SEMITES), was to be released last Monday and was backed by 23 Jewish and Christian American non-governmental organizations.
“The wide coalition behind the report illustrates the growing concern about the spike in anti-Semitism in the United States,” the report's authors said. “Much of this hatred is often disguised under the veil of the delegitimization campaign against the Jewish State of Israel.”
