TOP OF FIRST HOUR:
(Drudge) MAINSTREAM MEDIA STAR DEFECTS! (Mediaite) CBS News foreign correspondent Lara Logan Calls the Media ‘Mostly Liberal’ in a Scorched Earth Interview: I’m Committing ‘Professional Suicide’! (Newsbusters) She called the press “propagandist” and quoted a former NY Times editor who said her paper pushes “raw opinion” about Trump. She spoke to retired Navy SEAL Mike Ritland Friday (in his podcast called Mike Check), and she agreed “the media everywhere is mostly liberal, not just the U.S.” She compared it to the Wailing Wall in Israel where “women have this tiny little spot in front of the wall to pray, and the rest of the wall is for the men.” Similarly “you’ve got Breitbart and Fox News and a few others, and from there on, you have CBS, ABC, NBC, Huffington Post, Politico, whatever, right? All of them.” She pointed to coverage of Trump as an example of the one-sided coverage. She said it doesn’t match real life. She cited recent comments from former New York Times executive editor Jill Abramson, saying the media has “abandoned our pretense or at least the effort to be objective.”She said the media pushing fake news from single anonymous sources — “That’s not journalism, that’s horses—t.”
(Mediaite) Rev Al Sharpton: Jussie Smollett Ought to ‘Face Accountability to the Maximum’ If He Perpetrated a Hoax. (NOTE: Sharpton participated pushing in Trayvon Martin’s false innocent little kid story, Michael Brown’s false “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” story, Tawana Brawley’s false rape story, etc., etc., etc.) When the report of Jussie Smollett came out he said “we should come with all that we can come within law enforcement to find out what happened and the guilty should suffer the maximum.” Now that it looks like Smollett may be guilty of lying, Sharpton claims he still maintains what he said, but switched from “suffer the maximum” to “face accountability to the maximum.”

(Page 6) Robert De Niro has public meltdown after divorce court earlier this month. The anti-Trump actor reportedly screamed in his phone at his driver after spending the entire morning Feb 7 in court in his divorce case with estranged wife Grace Hightower (a black woman). “You’re not in front! You’re not where you dropped us off!” De Niro squawked into his black LG flip phone outside. “On Worth Street! Then you’d see all the photographers here! You’re not where you dropped us off!” One tourist saw him and shouted, “Take it easy, Bobby!” He and his wife were married for 20 years, but are now fighting over custody of their 7-year-old daughter. (In the 70s-80s, he was married to actress & singer Diahnne Abbott who already had a child, & had one kid by her. He later had twins by in vitro fertilization by surrogate in the 90s in his long relationship with former model Toukie Smith, another black woman.)
(Vermont Public Radio) He's In For 2020: Bernie Sanders Is Running For President Again. His official announcement video is expected to stream online (this morning) Tuesday morning. He said wants to take “a belief in justice, in community, in grassroots politics, in town meetings” around the country. He’s pushing universal health care coverage, a $15 minimum wage and reducing student debt. He said he thinks Trump is “an embarrassment to our country. I think he is a pathological liar... I also think he is a racist, a sexist, a homophobe, a xenophobe, somebody who is gaining cheap political points by trying to pick on minorities, often undocumented immigrants."
BOTTOM OF FIRST HOUR:
Bernie Sanders The 77yo fair-skinned secular Jewish alleged atheist who says he has "very strong religious and spiritual feelings," said, (Vermont Public Radio) “We have got to look at candidates, you know, not by the color of their skin, not by their sexual orientation or their gender and not by their age…. we have got to try to move us toward a non-discriminatory society which looks at people based on their abilities, based on what they stand for." (NOTE: Bernie famously stepped aside and let loud BLM females disrupt and take over his stage & rally in Seattle. After allegedly being burned through collusion between the DNC & liberal media, he still endorsed Hillary. The decent Bernie fans became Trump supporters.)

(Drudge) BROTHERS BREAK SILENCE… in the Jussie Smollett case. (CBS Chicago) “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett, upset after a “racist letter” sent to the show’s studio didn’t get a “bigger reaction,” is suspected of paying two men to attack him a week later, according to multiple sources with direct knowledge of the investigation.
TOP OF SECOND HOUR:
(CBS Chicago) “When the letter didn’t get enough attention, he concocted the staged attack,” a source said, The Osundario brothers (Ola and Abel) said in a joint statement, “We are not racist. We are not homophobic and we are not anti-Trump. We were born and raised in Chicago and are American citizens.” (So apparently they’re anchor babies? From Nigeria?) Smollett received a letter containing a white powder Jan. 22, prompting a HAZMAT response — it was aspirin — sent to Chicago’s Cinespace Studios, where the show “Empire” is filmed. It used cut-out magazine letters. Smollett said, “On the letter, it had a stick figure hanging from a tree with a gun pointing toward it.” It also had “MAGA.”
(Drudge) STATES SUE TO STOP TRUMP’s National EMERGENCY… (Reuters) A coalition of 16 U.S. states led by California sued President Donald Trump and top members of his administration on Monday to block his decision to declare a national emergency to obtain funds for building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. California Attorney General Xavier Becerra (Democrat) said in a statement. "We're suing President Trump to stop him from unilaterally robbing taxpayer funds lawfully set aside by Congress for the people of our states. For most of us, the office of the presidency is not a place for theatre." Three Texas landowners and an environmental group filed the first lawsuit against Trump's move on Friday, saying it violated the Constitution and would infringe on their property rights. Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Virginia, and Michigan joined California in the lawsuit. The states said, "By the president's own admission, an emergency declaration is not necessary. The federal government's own data prove there is no national emergency at the southern border that warrants construction of a wall."
(The Hill) Trump spoke about Venezuela Monday in Miami, saying: 'The days of socialism are numbered, not only in Venezuela, but in Nicaragua and Cuba as well.' He spoke in support of Venezuelan National Assembly leader Juan Guaidó's attempt to remove current President Nicolas Maduro from power. Several countries recognize Guaidó as the official president in Caracas, and Trump called on Maduro's backers in the Venezuelan military to abandon the government. He said: “Years of socialist rule have brought this once thriving nation to the brink of ruin. Socialism by its very nature does not respect borders. It does not respect the boundaries or the sovereign rights of its citizens or its neighbors. It’s always seeking to expand, to encroach, and subjugate others to its will.” During his SOTU last month, Trump criticized “the brutality of the Maduro regime, whose socialist policies have turned that nation from being the wealthiest in South America into a state of abject poverty and despair."
(Drudge) INCHES OF SNOW ON VEGAS STRIP! (Weather.com) Residents of Las Vegas saw snow on Sunday night for the second time this month and the third time overall this winter. The last time Las Vegas saw a trace of snow before this winter was Christmas Day 2015. And measurable snow was last officially measured in Las Vegas in December 2008.
(Drudge) Warren to Unveil Universal Child Care Plan Funded by Wealth Tax... (Bloomberg) Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren wants to limit American families’ expenses to 7 percent of income regardless of how many children they have — an extimated taxpayer cost of $70 billion annually, paid for by a tax on the “ultra-wealthy.” (Note: No wonder the so-called “1-percenters” love abortion! Also they don’t want mothers at home.) It would make child care free for families with incomes under twice the poverty level, or less than $51,500 for a family of four. Americans pay nearly as much for child care as they do for rent, with the average cost of child care in the U.S. approaching $1,400 a month.
BOTTOM OF SECOND HOUR:
'Donald Trump is evil': (Daily Mail) Malia Obama's secret Facebook account reveals just how much former First Daughter hates her father's successor — with a post-it note picture liked by Biden's granddaughter Finnegan. The four post-it notes on a shelf read: ‘Donald Trump is President,' 'This is not normal', 'Donald Trump is evil,' 'Don't be complacent.' The Facebook page appears to have been used by Malia in her last year at high school and in her “gap year,” her year-off school when she worked at The Weinstein Company (of Harvey Weinstein fame, before he was accused by #MeToo actresses). It hasn’t been publicly updated since 2017. She pushed gun reform and other crap. 20-year-old Finnegan Biden, Joe Biden's granddaughter appears frequently in her page. They became friends while attending school together during the Obama administration. Now Malia, who famously showed her butt at Lollapalooza a few years back, is in her 2nd year at Harvard.
TOP OF THIRD HOUR:
(Breitbart) Cartel Ambushes Mexican Soldiers near Texas Border. An ambush by gunmen from a faction of Los Zetas killed one Mexican soldier and injured two others in Nuevo Laredo. Three attackers working for a convicted terrorist also died in the incident just south of Laredo, Texas. The Cartel Del Noreste (CDN) faction of Los Zetas attacked a convoy of soldiers patrolling the streets of Nuevo Laredo. The shooters killed one army lieutenant and injured two others. Under the leadership of convicted terrorist Hector Raul “El Tory” Luna Luna, the CDN has once again advanced their tactic of silencing local news outlets to keep the organization out of public view. None of the local news outlets in Nuevo Laredo reported on the weekend shootout. El Tory, the operational leader for the CDN, is wanted in the U.S. for a grenade attack against the American consulate in Monterrey. The CDN is working to inspire terror throughout the border states of Tamaulipas and Nuevo Leon by dumping ice chests with human remains and written threats to rivals.
(Breitbart) Leaked Photos Show U.S. Border Facility Overwhelmed by Migrants. U.S. border facilities are being overwhelmed by the inflow of migrants from Central America and other nations. Photos reminiscent of the Obama-era border surge depict a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) processing, detention, and transport facility at a U.S. port-of-entry in El Paso, Texas, dated Feb 17, 2019. A source said, “The medical staff at the facility can’t keep doing this. They are getting overwhelmed.” Another source said: “This is no different than what we were dealing with during the Obama Administration. This is happening in the Rio Grande Valley Sector, the Del Rio Sector, the El Paso Sector, the Tucson Sector, the Yuma Sector, and the San Diego Sector. It’s almost across the entire Southwest border that we are being overwhelmed by migrant families…. We are basically facilitating Mexican cartels’ migrant smuggling operations into the interior of America. We are babysitting and not securing our border. The flow shows no signs of abating and it keeps increasing.” (National Emergency!)
(Wash. Examiner) Protesters take over Border Patrol museum, deface pictures of fallen agents. Dozens of demonstrators occupied and vandalized a privately owned U.S. Border Patrol museum near El Paso, Texas. Staff and guests worried for their safety Saturday when a group of about 50 rowdy protesters entered the facility, defaced property, and refused to leave the grounds. "Say it loud, say it clear, Border Patrol kills!" group members standing inside and outside the facility yelled. Protestors pulled into the parking lot and put on face masks before going inside around 2:15 p.m. local time, intimidated the staff and gave aggressive attitude. They got on the bullhorn and harassed people. The group calls itself Tornillo: The Occupation, they livestreamed the protest.

BOTTOM OF THIRD HOUR:
(Drudge) Emoji are showing up in court cases exponentially, and courts aren’t prepared. (The Verge) Bay Area prosecutors were trying to prove that a man arrested during a prostitution sting was guilty of pimping charges, and among the evidence was a series of Instagram DMs he’d allegedly sent to a woman. One read: “Teamwork make the dream work” with high heels and money bag emoji placed at the end. Prosecutors said the message implied a working relationship between the two of them. The defendant said it could mean he was trying to strike up a romantic relationship. Who was right? Between 2004 and 2019, there was an exponential rise in emoji and emoticon references in US court opinions, with over 30 percent of all cases appearing in 2018, according to Santa Clara University law professor Eric Goldman, who’s been tarcking all of the references to “emoji” and “emoticon” that show up in US court opinions. Since 2004, emoji references are most commonly in sexual predation cases, but they’re ambiguous in meaning, and courts don’t know how to interpret them. They’ve shown up in all types of cases, from murder to robbery. Sometimes judges say “emoji ommitted” as they don’t think they’re relevant, but sometimes they’re key to the communication.
(Drudge) Justin Trudeau's Political Crisis Widens as Top Aide and Friend Resigns… (MSN) Gerald Butts resigned Monday as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's principal secretary. His chief of staff Katie Telford also reportedly departed? — This is amid allegations that senior members of the Prime Minister’s Office pressured a former justice minister (Jody Wilson-Raybould) to help a Quebec-based multinational engineering firm (SNC-Lavalin) avoid criminal prosecution on bribery and fraud charges in relation to contracts in Libya. That woman (Wilson-Raybould) announced last week she was quitting the Liberal cabinet just days after a Globe and Mail report claimed she was pressured to direct the Public Prosecution Service of Canada to sign a deferred prosecution agreement (DPA).
