(Drudge) GROUNDED TO THE MAX… (AP) Boeing’s newest lane becomes its biggest headache. more than 40 countries (The Sun says 50!) — including the U.S. grounded the 737 Max 8 after a second fatal crash in months. Trump announced it yesterday, and American and Southwest Airlines immediately cancelled a number of flights. U.S. Federal Aviation Administration issued an emergency order keeping the planes on the tarmac after refusing to do so in the days immediately following the crash of a Max 8 operated by Ethiopian Airlines that left 157 people dead. (An Indonesian Lion Air flight that plunged into the Java Sea in October and killed 189 people.) TRAVEL CHAOS… flight delays and cancellations worldwide. (Bloomberg) BOEING Troubles could be an opportunity for Made-in-China Planes… Chinese government-owned Commercial Aircraft Corp. of China, or Comac, is building the C919 that would compete with the Boeing 737 Max 8.
(Drudge) BETO LIFT-OFF — Beto says he’s running for president in 2020 — (AP) the Spanish-speaking 46-year-old former punk rocker became a sensation funded by Hollywood and supposedly had grassroots young support, but still lost to Ted Cruz for Senator in TX.
BTW: Trump-hating NBA star LeBron James wore an O’Rourke hat after a viral video of the Texan defending NFL players’ supposed “right” to protest during the national anthem. Beyonce, a Houston native, endorsed O’Rourke. He was interviewed in February by Oprah Winfrey, who appeared genuinely excited about him running.
Trump called him a “flake” and a “total lightweight” and joked, “I thought you were supposed to win before you run for president.”
'I'M JUST BORN TO DO THIS'... (Vanity Fair put him on the cover of their magazine saying…) “I want to run... This is the fight of our lives as Americans, and as humans… I’m just born to be in it, and want to do everything I humanly can for this country...”
The media is excited because (NY Times) Texas is Nearing Battleground Status? Hispanics are an upside for Democrats, but there’s also a shift in white voters making a big difference. Apparently they’re corrupting the whites too.
Democrats have long dreamed that a booming Hispanic population and droves of Americans moving to Texas from elsewhere could turn the nation’s largest red state blue and transform the Electoral College.
(Drudge) STORMY DANIELS: TRUMP COULD WIN AGAIN… (The Hill) She says she’s worried. She told a group of mostly women, “I will be voting.” She said some days she’s like, “The motherf***ers gonna win again.” (Classy.) That was at a Q&A session in Washington. A judge threw out the 39-y-o’s lawsuit against Trump & Michael Cohen this month; she was trying to void a nondisclosure agreement stemming from an alleged 2006 affair Trump. A judge said it was irrelevant because she had not been held to the terms of the agreement. Cohen’s facing 3-years in prison over bank & tax fraud, lying to Congress and supposed campaign finance violations. She’s joyful about that, saying, “I thinking about visiting him in prison for [blanks] and giggles.” On Twitter, she and “creepy porn lawyer” Michael Avenatti said they were parting ways. She got mean and dirty talking about Trump to the “ladies” in the audience. (Such a nasty woman!)

(Drudge) WHOA: Parents Blame School's Cell Tower After 4th Student Diagnosed With Cancer… (CBS Sacramento) In Rippon, CA, a fourth child has been diagnosed with cancer at a San Joaquin County elementary school, and parents believe it’s because of radiation caused by a cell phone tower. One doctor says the kind of tumor he has is 100% environmental. A 10-year-old boy was the second diagnosed with cancer in just 3 years (he has brain cancer), and two more were diagnosed this year. The first was a boy with kidney cancer discovered in 2016. The district has had several tests done saying the tower is safe and meets federal regulations. They’re refusing to remove it. “I wouldn’t send my kids there at all, it absolutely is dangerous,” said Eric Windheim, an electromagnetic radiation specialist. “Children are still developing and their cells are still being divided. It’s the worst possible time in their life to be exposed.”
(Drudge) No American city ranks in 30 best places to live… (Marketwatch) All american cities but one fell in rankings this year based on Mercer’s quality-of-life factors. Global consulting firm Mercer has released its quality-of-living rankings, and, for a 10th year in a row, Vienna tops quality of living… Vienna took the No. 1 spot. It was followed by Zurich, with Auckland, Munich and Vancouver tying for third place. The company ranks hundreds of global cities based on factors including recreation, housing, economy, public services and transport, political and social environment, education, medical and health considerations, and the natural environment. “European cities continue to have the highest quality of living in the world… as many as 13 of the world’s top 20 spots were taken by European cities.” The 34th spot is San Francisco (where they have homelessness and drug syringes on the streets and in the subways). New York climbed to number 44 as crime rates SUPPOSEDLY “fell.”
(Drudge) Texas town calls in cartel-fighting police for Spring Break...Twerking, puking, passing out on beach... Scenes of Debauchery! (Daily Mail) The spring break resort South Padre Island, population 5,000 people, has the “littest beach anywhere,” as an estimated 100,000 college kids descend for a non-stop party. Students spent $3.1 million on alcohol alone last year, and gave South Padre an overall windfall of $33.9 million. Local police have to call-in other officers from surrounding communities including from border town Los Indios, areas next to territory controlled by the notorious Golfos Cartel. Young men and women in their early 20s (if that) do all kinds of perverted things. People come from U. of KS, U. of Northern Illinois. Police just try to control the worst of their excesses.
(Drudge) GOP consultant and former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort’s sentence reaches 7.5 years… U.S. District Court Obama Judge Amy Berman Jackson on Wednesday gave Manafort an additional 43 months in prison for a series of lobbying and witness tampering crimes he pleaded guilty to last fall. Judge Jackson is also Roger Stone’s judge BTW. Manafort also must serve nearly four years for his conviction in a jury trial for financial fraud crimes in Virginia. He was in a wheelchair reportedly from gout. He’s 69-years-old.

GUEST: Patrick Rooney. Heart disease and cancer make up 46 percent of causes of death for people (I think of a certain age). Women too are getting it, working, and acting like they think how men are. Jesse talks about a device that helps a man breastfeed.
BOTTOM OF SECOND HOUR NEWS:
(Drudge) TRUMP PARDON COMETH? Mediaite founder & ABC’s chief legal analyst Dan Abrams said on his Sirius XM show, “Is it just me being cynical — I think Manafort is going to get pardoned by Trump, I don’t think any of this matters.” He was also Indicted by NY prosecutors after federal sentencing… (NBC News) Manafort was indicted on 16 counts tied to residential mortgage fraud and conspiracy by Manhattan prosecutors.

Flynn cooperation 'completed'... (CNBC) Trump’s former national security advisor Michael Flynn has completed his cooperation with special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation. Back in December, Clinton Judge Emmet Sullivan, a black man, told Flynn “you sold your country out.” A status report says he remains “in a position to cooperate with law enforcement authorities.” (They want to squeeze him dry.)

Top Mueller Prosecutor Stepping Down… (NPR) It may be a clue the Russia inquiry may be ending. Sources say Andrew Weissmann, the architect of the case against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, will study and teach at New York University and work on a variety of public service projects, including his longstanding interest in preventing wrongful convictions by shoring up forensic science standards used in courts. He famously attended Hillary Clinton's election night party in 2016. And he wrote a positive email to former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates after she refused to defend the Trump administration's first Muslim travel ban. (As Trump calls them, the team of Mueller’s Angry Democrats!)
(Drudge) Court finds victim too ugly to be raped… (The Star) Italy is outraged. An appeals court overturned a rape verdict in part by arguing that the alleged victim was too ugly to be a credible rape victim. Protestors shouted “Shame!” and held up signs that said “Indignation.” The appeals sentence was handed down in 2017 — by an all-female panel — but its reasons only went public recently. Italy’s high court ordered a retrial. Two Peruvian men were initially convicted of the 2015 rape of a Peruvian woman in Ancona, but it was overturned in 2017, and now it’s ordered for retrial. The suspects had supposedly found her too “masculine” and unattractive, one having her listed as “Viking” on his cell phone. She returned to Peru and had reportedly been injured in the alleged attack.
(Drudge) Motorcyclist reaches 140 mph during police chase… before a crash Tuesday night sent him to the hospital (Houston Chronicle). A Texas Department of Public Safety trooper tried to pull the male rider over on Fry Road near Interstate 10 around 11:45 p.m. The rider pulled a U-turn on a service road and then slammed into the back of a car in the right lane.
(Drudge) Lori Laughlin case similar to 'FULL HOUSE' plot… In a 1993 episode of the family sitcom, called "Be True to Your Preschool," Loughlin's and John Stamos' characters take matters into their own hands when they realize their twin boys won't be admitted into a prestigious San Francisco preschool, so they took the "fast track" and fabricating information on the application form. Uncle Jesse says in the episode, "I'm their father — if I don't lie for them, who will?" In another episode that surfaced online, character D.J. Tanner has a dream in which she sees Jesse stealing an SAT booklet with the test answers and attempt to use a walkie-talkie to give her the answers. On Tuesday, she became one of the 50 people charged in a $25 million college entrance exam cheating scheme.
(Drudge) 'Guns drawn': Pre-dawn raid of 'DESPERATE HOUSWIVES' star… Felicity Huffman, FBI agents stormed her property Tuesday morning. (NZ Herald Spy) Huffman, age 54, allegedly paid $15,000, disguised as a charitable donation, so her daughter could take part in the scam. A co-operating witness met with Huffman and her husband William H Macy at their Los Angeles home and explained that he "controlled" an SAT testing centre and could have somebody correct her daughter's wrong answers. The person told investigators the couple agreed to the plan.
