(Drudge) #ImpeachTrump Day of Action takes off, 133 events… planned as of yesterday afternoon, up from 75 earlier, planned for Saturday. Several groups are involved including Indivisible, MoveOn, By the People, and nearly 20 other liberal orgs. Some will include reading of pro-impeachment speeches from Democrats including Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Minnesota Rep. Rashida Tlaib. This is their wannabe Tea Party, I guess. “Donald Trump has broken the law, violated the Constitution, and put the safety and future of the American people at risk. But by now, it is clear that Congress won’t act unless we demand it. We need to take to the streets in every neighborhood in America to defend democracy,” said Alexandra Flores-Quilty, a spokeswoman with By the People, said in a statement. A map of events show that most will occur on the East and West coasts and in some Midwest college towns and big cities like Chicago.
(Drudge & AP) PELOSI said Tuesday: 'IT’S NOT EVEN CLOSE' TO STARTING IMPEACHMENT… (AP) they don’t have enough support in the House, but they’re still trying to attack him on the Russia investigation. House Minority leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) called it “an impeachment effort in everything but name.” Dem committees win new powers to investigate… (The Hill) The House voted Tuesday to grant new legal powers to a key committee investigating the Trump administration on the Russia so-called investigation. The 229-191 vote broke down strictly along partisan lines with no defectors, Democrats accusing Trump of conducting a "cover-up" related to Mueller's findings. The resolution empowers the House Judiciary Committee to go before a federal court in seeking the Department of Justice's (DOJ) compliance with subpoenas. Two figures are named explicitly in the text: Attorney General William Barr, who has refused to release some parts of Mueller's report and the underlying documents; and Don McGhan, the former White House counsel who has defied a Democratic subpoena to appear before the committee.
(Drudge) NOT FUNNY: Letterman Says Trump Is Now 'Psychotic' and a 'Soulless Bastard'... (Hollywood Reporter) The president was Letterman's guest more than 30 times on the shows he hosted for 33 years, between 'Late Night With David Letterman' and 'The Late Show With David Letterman'... but the current host of Netflix's My Next Guest Needs No Introduction is no longer a fan! 72-y-o Letterman said, "I think he just liked being on TV. I had no sense that he was the soulless bastard that he's turned into."
He went on, "Everybody says, 'Oh, wouldn't you like to talk to Donald Trump [today]?' And I would. I would just like to say, 'Don, it's Dave. Remember me? I want to talk to the real Donald Trump.' Because I now don't know which is the real Donald Trump, and if the Donald Trump that I was talking to [back then] was the real Donald Trump, how do you get to be the guy he is now? Politics notwithstanding — let's just say everything is great and he's done a great job, but he still behaves the way he behaves — who behaves like that?!"
"He used to be kind of like the boob of New York that pretended to be wealthy, or we thought was wealthy, and now he's just a psychotic. Is that putting too fine a point on it?" He added, "I don't even care if it's recorded, I would just like to talk to the guy, because, as I said before, he knows me, I know him — what the hell went wrong?!"

(Drudge) American Medical Association: Let minors override parents' vaccination refusal… (MSN) Members of the American Medical Association voted this week to support state policies that would allow minors to override their parents' objections to vaccinations. They were at their annual meeting in Chicago. Moving forward, the AMA will encourage state lawmakers to institute comprehensive vaccine and minor consent policies. "The prevalence of unvaccinated pediatric patients is troubling to physicians," AMA board member Dr. S. Bobby Mukkamala said in the release. "Many children go unvaccinated as anti-vaccine-related messages and advertisements target parents with misinformation. Allowing mature minors to provide informed consent to vaccinations will ensure these patients can access this type of preventive care." (“Mature minors,” that’s a new one.)
During Monday's session, the AMA also voted to adopt a plan to bring national attention to violence against the transgender community, especially transgender people of color (they don’t mention whether it’s POC’s of course). The group also encouraged doctors to play a more active role in reporting and preventing human trafficking.
Wonder if you’ll hear AMA talk about this though… (Drudge) U.S. CITIES OVERWHELMED WITH ILLEGALS FROM EBOLA COUNTRIES… (InfoWars) Large groups of migrants are arriving from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which has been hit by one of the biggest ebola outbreaks in history, with 2,000 recorded cases in the last 10 months. Border Patrol officials said that 500 people from African countries had been arrested by Border Patrol’s Del Rio Sector in Texas alone in the six days after May 30. They’re sent to San Antonio, I believe, for processing (this says San Francisco, probably a typo). The migrants are then being transported elsewhere including Portland, Maine, where officials complained “Please don’t send us any more. We’re already stretched way beyond our capacity.” So San Antonio’s working with the migrants to “identify other cities throughout the United States where they can go and begin their asylum seeking process.”
Residents of San Antonio expressed concerns about the arrival of the migrants, some of whom were being housed in a nearby church. Catholic Charities of San Antonio is helping to fund the transportation of the migrants to other areas of the country. THANKS A LOT CATHOLICS, NOT! They’re reportedly spending “$14,000 a week on bus tickets alone.”
Meanwhile, Dr Michael Ryan, the executive director of the WHO’s health emergencies program, told BBC News that the global spread of deadly diseases is becoming “a new normal” thanks to “large and highly mobile populations”.
(Drudge) Illegals were Crawling Out of Manholes in El Paso… less than a half-mile from the border! (InfoWars) Apparel company Uncle Sam’s Misguided Children tweeted a video of several people suspected of being illegal aliens crawling out of a sewage manhole at the intersection of 4th Ave. and S. El Paso St. The company wrote in a tweet: “An anonymous viewer sent us this video of people coming out of a manhole in the middle of the road in south El Paso Saturday night. #BuildTheWall”
(Drudge) Private border wall group ordered to keep gate open… WHAT!... (Wash. Times) According to a report in Buzzfeed, the half-mile wall built by We Build the Wall near Sunland Park, NM, cut off official access to a levee and a dam and public access to Monument One, a series of obelisks marking the U.S.-Mexico border. It’s the International Boundary and Water Commission (IBWC), which handles waterway issues between the U.S. and Mexico. Spokeswoman Lori Kuczmanski told Buzzfeed, “They think they can build now and ask questions later, and that’s not how it works.” (SMART MOUTH! Somehow I don’t believe her!) “We’re going to lock it in an open position until we come into a mutual decision on how this gate is going to operate.”
Brian Kolfage tweeted in response: “The IBWC commissioner @harkjay350 [Jayne Harkins] has a bad habit of leaving gates open on our border.last week she left open this gate! largest invasion on record 1000 crossed at once! She just locked our gate wide open for illegals to invade America!”
He also tweeted, “The IBWC is a fine example of over reach and growing to big. They are over stepping DHS, national security experts and undermining @realDonaldTrump as soon as they locked our gate open we noticed many other gates around el Paso just opened up!! They are planning for mass invasion.”
And then he tweeted “#closethegate”
TOP OF THIRD HOUR NEWS: Wednesday, June 12, 2019 –
(Drudge) Jury can't decide on charges against immigration activist… (AP) A U.S. jury could not reach a verdict Tuesday against a border activist charged with conspiracy to transport and harbor migrants in a trial that so-called humanitarian aid groups are riled about. Defense attorneys argued that Scott Daniel Warren, a 36-year-old college geography instructor, was simply being kind by providing two migrants with water, food and lodging when he was arrested in early 2018. He faced up to 20 years in prison. But prosecutors maintained the men were not in distress and Warren conspired to transport and harbor them at a property used for providing aid to migrants in an Arizona town near the U.S.-Mexico border. Warren is one of nine members of the so-called humanitarian aid group No More Deaths who have been charged with crimes related to their work. But he is the only one to face felony charges.
In West Texas another attorney Teresa Todd picked up young illegal alien hitchhikers in her car. Federal agents detained her and checked her cell phone.
This guy Scott Warren who just got a mistrial, and other volunteers with the No More Deaths group, also were “targeted” (AP’s word) earlier this year in separate federal misdemeanor cases after leaving water, canned food and other provisions for migrants hiking through the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge in southern Arizona.
Thousands of migrants have died crossing the border since the mid-1990s, when heightened enforcement pushed migrant traffic into Arizona’s scorching deserts. (If they really wanted ‘No More Deaths,’ the must humane solution is to BUILD THE WALL!)
(Drudge) Boy dies of Ebola in Uganda in first cross-border case… from the current Congo Ebola outbreak. A five year-old boy has died of Ebola in Uganda, a health official said on Wednesday. The boy died overnight after entering Uganda from Congo with his family. His mother had returned to Congo to nurse her father, who died of the disease. Four of the boy's relatives are being monitored in isolation wards and two of them are being tested for Ebola after exhibiting symptoms of the disease. The current outbreak began in August in the neighbouring Democratic Republic of Congo. Experts from Uganda's health ministry, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have been dispatched to the area of the outbreak. Congo's health ministry said on Monday that it had recorded 2,062 cases of Ebola, including 1,390 deaths, since the epidemic began in eastern Congo.
(Drudge) Jon Stewart Blasts Congress For Low Attendance At 9/11 Fund Hearing… (WCBS 880) An emotional Jon Stewart, who was on Capitol Hill on Tuesday for a Congressional hearing on the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund, was given the turnout coat of FDNY legend Ray Pfeifer, who died from 9/11-related cancer two years ago. Pfeifer, who served more than 27 years with the FDNY, was at the World Trade Center after the buildings collapsed on Sept. 11, 2001 and worked for months on the toxic pile at ground zero. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2009 and made the trip to Capitol Hill dozens of times to lobby for 9/11 health and compensation bills before his death at age 59 in 2017. Stewart delivered the eulogy at Pfeifer's funeral. Someone bought the coat after it was put up for auction by Pfeifer's brother. Stewart, a longtime advocate for 9/11 responders, joined sickened first responders and students in Washington D.C. to ask Congress to expand the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund, which has nearly run dry. During the hearing, Stewart accused Congress of “indifference” in failing to renew the fund and pointed out he’s talking to a nearly “empty Congress.” Reportedly, more than 20,000 people have been sickened with 9/11 related illnesses. The House is expected to pass the bill.
(Drudge) HER CHOICE? (Arcamax) Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez dangles 2020 endorsement: Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren? Hmmm.
