(Drudge) HONG KONG DEFIANT and faces a BEIJING WARNING! (AP) One of the world’s busiest airports canceled all flights after thousands of so-called “pro-democracy” (AP’s description) demonstrators crowded into Hong Kong’s main terminal Monday, while the central government in Beijing under Communist Party leader, President Xi Jinping, issued an ominous characterization of the protest movement as something approaching “terrorism.”
(There’s been more than two months of near-daily and increasingly bloody confrontations between protesters and police. Protestors and rioters throwing stuff at cops, moving from place to place, while police tear gas them, etc. … So AP interviewed one guy with an Indian name who was on a Hong Kong layover. With his connecting flight to San Francisco cancelled, now he’s stuck in Hong Kong! And they kicked him out of the terminal, but he didn’t wanna go outside, because he didn’t know what’s out there! His main luggage was checked, so all he had was his laptop bag!)
Beijing’s Cabinet Office on Hong Kong and Macao Affiars said Hong Kong protestors were “beginning to show the sprouts of terrorism” and constituted an “existential threat” to the population. “One must take resolute action toward this violent criminality, showing no leniency or mercy,” said the statement, attributed to spokesman Yang Guang. “Hong Kong has reached an inflection point where all those who are concerned about Hong Kong’s future must say ‘no,’ to law breakers and ‘no’ to those engaged in violence.”
(Drudge) Scaramucci says Trump is in nuclear meltdown mode; and Mooch Couldn't keep quiet any longer… (NY Daily News) Anthony Scaramucci has been in the media trashing the president. He tweeted yesterday, “To those asking, “what took so long?” You’re right. I tried to see best in @realDonaldTrump based on private interactions and select policy alignment. But his increasingly divisive rhetoric - and damage it’s doing to fabric of our society - outweighs any short-term economic gain.” I reported yesterday that Scaramucci, nicknamed The Mooch, warned that Trump will turn on everyone… including the country. (Daily Mail) Mooch told CNN’s Chris Cuomo, “Let’s throw some water on the green witch” (a Wizard of Oz reference to make the witch start melting) and he said, “Let's end the bullying and let's end this sort of nonsense.” 'He's giving people license to hate'... ‘to provide a source of anger, to go after each other – and he does it on his Twitter account.' (Bloomberg via Yahoo News) He says he won’t vote for the president, and Says Republicans Need to Replace Trump! “A couple more weeks like this and ‘country over party’ is going to require the Republicans to replace the top of the ticket in 2020,” Scaramucci told Axios. (I predict Scaramucci will go the way of Michael Avenatti, Megyn Kelly, Kathy Griffin, Don Lemon, and the rest.)
Trump tweeted yesterday afternoon: Scaramucci, who like so many others had nothing to do with my Election victory, is only upset that I didn’t want him back in the Administration (where he desperately wanted to be). Also, I seldom had time to return his many calls to me. He just wanted to be on TV!
Anthony Scaramucci responded: “You are losing your fastball— very weak troll. Bullying is the most anti-American thing in our culture and it is emanating from the Oval Office. Many have called and are willing to work on a necessary replacement. Time to call in a good relief pitcher. @potus is lost.”
(Wikipedia) Scaramucci is a financier, entrepreneur, and political consultant, and former White House Communications director for 8 days. He worked for Goldman Sachs in the 90s, then founded some capital management and investment companies. He has a J.D. from Harvard Law.

(Drudge) STUDY: Alarming Rise In Teens Who Need Glasses; Screen Time Blamed… (StudyFinds) According to the report released by United Kingdom-based eye care company Scrivens Opticians, the percentage of 13-16 year olds in the U.K. who need glasses has nearly doubled over the past seven years — from 20% in 2012 to 35% in 2018. Two-thirds of those teens were diagnosed as being myopic, or short-sighted. Researchers theorize that this significant increase in eye problems among young people is likely linked to excessive time spent staring at screens, which can lead to eye strain, shortsightedness, and blurred vision. In fact, the study also found that the average 13-16 year old spends around 26 hours per week staring at a smartphone, playing video games, or watching TV. “Children’s eyes continue to grow until early adulthood, and their vision is changing too,” comments Sheena Mangat, an optometrist with Scrivens, in a statement. “Because conditions such as short or long sightedness can happen gradually over time, neither children nor parents can ‘see the signs’, which is why regular eye checks are so important.” Additionally, the study found that it is no easy task for parents to pry their kids away from their screens; 73% of surveyed parents said it is a “challenge” to get their children to stop staring at some type of screen for a few hours. 26% of parents say they have never taken their child for an eye test.
Also: What TV Binge-Watching Does to Your Brain… (US News & World Reports) Quoting a doctor: It's important to recognize that the brain is not an isolated organ -- it responds to its environment," said Dr. Randall Wright, a neurologist at Houston Methodist in Texas. "When we binge-watch, we create an unhealthy environment for the brain because we're sitting for long periods of time, isolating ourselves from social activities and eating large amounts of unhealthy food." Wright likens the instant gratification of watching episode after episode of a show to wanting to continue gambling even after you win. His advice: “Before you start your show, determine what time you need to go to bed to get enough sleep.” Also: "Recent research has shown that the brain can generate new cells and connections through a process known as neurogenesis, and exercise is key to that process," Wright said. "Taking a walk around your neighborhood before binge-watching and standing for five minutes during every episode can help keep your body and brain active." AND: "If you're watching TV for six hours, that's six hours of not interacting with others," Wright said. "The hours alone add up and can lead to depression and other mental health issues. Balancing time alone with the television and time spent with loved ones is the key to avoiding social isolation." LASTLY: "Hummus and vegetables, edamame or fruits are great snacks if you crave something to eat while binge-watching. Try to stay away from binge-eating salty, fatty foods when you sit down to watch television," Wright suggested. "You can create lasting healthy habits and still enjoy the occasional binge-watching session without hurting your brain."
I mentioned yesterday… (Drudge) NO VIDEO IN EPSTEIN DEATH in PRISON… The story goes that he 'Hanged himself with prison bedsheet'... (NY Post) Epstein, who was 6 feet tall, apparently killed himself by kneeling toward the floor and strangling himself with the makeshift noose, law enforcement sources said Monday. He hadn’t been checked on for several hours, sources said. Epstein was “unresponsive” when he was discovered in his cell at the Special Housing Unit of the Metropolitan Correctional Center at around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday. Epstein’s Cellmate transferred hours before… for reasons that are unclear (Fox News). And jail has some history of corruption!
(Daily Mail) A Guard at that jail took a bribe… Victor Casado, pleaded guilty last year to taking $25,000 in cash bribes to smuggle cellphones, alcohol and food to a wealthy Turkish gold trader!
Also a former CIA employee, a Wikileaks leaker, managed to share new information from phones smuggled into his cell.
I mentioned AG Barr saw 'Serious irregularities'... in Epstein’s death. I mentioned yesterday that Epstein Kept detailed diaries which could haunt powerful friends…

TOP OF THIRD HOUR NEWS: Tuesday, August 13, 2019 –
(Drudge) #SHETOO CLAIM: Katy Perry accused of exposing male model's genitals at party… after he played her boyfriend in her 2010 hit “Teenage Dream” music video. Josh Kloss, 38, claims he was drinking with the pop princess when she suddenly pulled forward the waistband of his trousers to reveal his private parts. He came forward 9 years after the video came out. Friends of Katy furiously hit back and accused Kloss of “lying” with one pal describing the allegations as “bulls***.” Katy is the first global female star to face sex allegations since the MeToo scandal erupted across the film and music industries. Dancer Kloss made his claims in a series of posts on Instagram. He insists the incident happened at a friend’s party after the video was shot. Josh said: “When I saw her, we hugged and she was still my crush. But as I turned to introduce my friend, she pulled my Adidas sweats and underwear out as far as she could to show a couple of her guy friends, and the crowd around us, my ____. Can you imagine how pathetic and embarrassed I felt?” Josh, who also appeared in teen drama The O.C., claims the incident happened on July 14 2012 at a friend’s birthday party in California, seven months after Katy split from husband Russell Brand, 44. He continued: “I just say this now because our culture is set on proving men of power are perverse. But females with power are just as disgusting.” “So, happy anniversary to one of the most confusing, assaulting, and belittling jobs I’ve ever done.”
However Katy’s former stylist Johnny Wujek, 40, whose party they had been at, has shot down the allegations. Hitting back in a comment, Johnny wrote: “I’m not about to let you make accusations against my friend like this. “This is such bulls***. Katy would never do something like that. We all know about your ongoing obsession with her since the day of filming that video.” Josh hit back: “There were multiple people around... Ask her before you attack me. She is not going to lie about it.” Katy’s friend Markus Molinari, 38, also defended her, insisting the actor should: “Stop lying to yourself.”
Josh had starred in her video two years before when he claims she invited him to a strip club but was “as cold as ice” to him around the set and told the cast that kissing him was “gross.” Replying to comments on his post about his experience, he insisted he has previously “tried” to address it in private with Katy, who is now engaged to actor Orlando Bloom, 42.
Asked why he was only speaking out about it seven years later, he said: “It’s about getting it off my chest, if you were idolised for something you helped create, but were actually used as a prostitute and then physically treated as such, you might understand me.”
Last year Katy Perry was criticised for kissing a contestant on Amercian Idol, which she is a judge on, the contestant said he had never kissed a girl and wanted his first time to be “special.” Benjamin Glaze, 19, later said he felt “uncomfortable” having gone to kiss her on the cheek only for her to swing her face around and kiss him on the lips.
(Drudge) NYT Executive Editor Dean Baquet Admits Racism Headline Was a 'F***ing Mess'... HE BLACK! (Daily Beast) In a hastily arranged meeting top brass discussed when to use labels like “racist” in Times stories and some recent embarrassments for the paper, including a credulous headline that characterized Trump’s post-mass shooting televised speech as a sincere call for national unity (which it was) “Trump Urges Unity Against Racism.”
“He’s sick. He feels terrible,” Baquet said of the person who wrote the offending headline. “It was a f—ing mess,” he told the staff, but warned against overreacting to Twitter overreaction.
The headline faced criticism both outside and within the paper among those who said the publication was papering over the president’s history of so-called racist comments (when he’s only told the truth) and how Trump seemed to focus on other issues, including violent video games, more than so-called racism and xenophobia.
Baquet’s the first “African-American” executive editor of the paper, said that rather than using “racist” or euphemisms like “racially charged,” the paper should demonstrate instances of racism through concrete examples. Of which there are none!
Tue, Aug 13, Hour 3:
Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker (D) mandates so-called LGBTQ history curriculum for public schools. We have a radical homosexual running for president, Pete Buttigieg. What kind of laws would he enact?
Jesse injured his knee by being overzealous and jumping on a box rather than letting it heal! He’s not gonna use Ben-Gay! He’s rather use a Cho-Pat, whatever that is!

Elizabeth Warren triggered me!

Josh Kloss posted on Instagram:
You know. After I met Katy, we sang a worship song, “open the eyes of my heart”
She was cool and kind. When other people were around she was cold as ice even called the act of kissing me “gross” to the entire set while filming. Now I was pretty embarrassed but kept giving my all, as my ex was busy cheating on me and my daughter was just a toddler, I knew I had to endure for her sake. After the first day of shooting, Katy invited me to a strip club in Santa Barbara. I declined and told her “I have to go back to hotel and rest, because this job is all I have right now”
So I saw Katy a couple times after her break up with Russel.
This one time I brought a friend who was dying to meet her. It was Johny Wujek’s birthday party at moonlight roller way. And when I saw her, we hugged and she was still my crush. But as I turned to introduce my friend, she pulled my Adidas sweats and underwear out as far as she could to show a couple of her guy friends and the crowd around us, my penis.
Can you imagine how pathetic and embarrassed i felt?
I just say this now because our culture is set on proving men of power are perverse.
But females with power are just as disgusting.
So for all her good she is an amazing leader, hers songs are mainly great empowering anthems.
And that is it. I continued to watch her use clips of her music videos for her world tour and then her dvd, only highlighting one of her male co-stars, and it was me.
I made around 650 in total off of teenage dream. I was lorded over by her reps, about not discussing a single thing about anything regarding Katy publicly. And a couple interviews they edited and answered for me.
So, happy anniversary to one of the most confusing, assaulting, and belittling jobs I’ve ever done. Yay #teenagedream
I was actually gonna play the song and sing it on ukele for the anniversary, but then as I was tuning I thought, f*** this, I’m not helping her bs image another second.
