Hake News for The Jesse Lee Peterson Show, Wednesday, November 25, 2020
End of Hour 1: Seth Rich’s parents win 7-figure settlement (potentially millions of dollars) against Fox News for “emotional distress” over Wikileaks-related conspiracy theory over Seth's murder, speculating that he may have been a whistleblower behind DNC email leaks, which "officials" blamed on Russia and Guccifer 2.0. Some called the murder a "targeted hit" by Hilary Clinton's ilk, but officials claimed it looked like a botched robbery, although apparently no valuables were taken.

Seth Rich’s parents get rich off Fox News settlement
(Yahoo’s Michael Isikoff) Fox paid seven figures to settle lawsuit over bogus Seth Rich conspiracy story
NPR calls it a “false story” claiming Clinton leaks.

The Fox News article
The May 16, 2017 report (Archived from Fox News, which was retracted seven days later for supposedly not meeting “standards”), was headlined: “Seth Rich, slain DNC staffer, had contact with WikiLeaks, say multiple sources” — written by award-winning investigative reporter Malia Zimmerman (whose bio has also since been removed from Fox News) — she’s written about Wikileaks, EMP bombs, and suspected voter fraud over the years.
Malia Zimmerman had reported that an “anonymous source” (who may have been former Morgan Stanley executive Ed Butowsky) claimed that 44,053 emails and 17,761 attachments between Democratic National Committee (DNC) leaders, spanning from January 2015 through late May 2016, were transferred from Rich to the late investigative reporter Gavin MacFadyen (an American who worked with Wikileaks) before May 21.
(Fake Russian collusion conspiracy theory investigator Robert Mueller, the FBI, and the so-called intelligence community claim that it was NOT Seth Rich, but Russian military intelligence agents who had hacked the DNC and passed the party’s emails to WikiLeaks through an online persona / hacker called Guccifer 2.0.)
Wikileaks facts
On July 22, just 12 days after Rich was killed, WikiLeaks published internal DNC emails that appeared to show top party officials conspired to stop Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont from becoming the party’s presidential nominee. That controversy resulted in Debbie Wasserman Schultz resigning as DNC chairman. A number of Sanders supporters refused to back party nominee Hillary Clinton, and some subsequently formed groups to work against Clinton and the party.
WikiLeaks leader Julian Assange did not identify Rich as the source of the emails, but took a keen interest in the case.
“WikiLeaks has decided to issue a US$20k reward for information leading to conviction for the murder of DNC staffer Seth Rich,” the organization announced.
WikiLeaks tweeted that Assange’s statement “should not be taken to imply that Seth Rich was a source for WikiLeaks or to imply that his murder is connected to our publications” because WikiLeaks has a policy not to release the names of its sources, even after their death.
The murder
Two assailants caught on a grainy video tape from a camera posted outside a grocery mart, shot Rich twice in his back, but did not take his wallet, cell phone, keys, watch or necklace worth about $2,000.
Rich had been at Lou’s City Bar a couple of miles from his home until about 1:15 a.m. He walked home, calling several people along the way. He called his father, Joel Rich, who he missed because he had gone to sleep. He talked with a fraternity brother and his girlfriend, Kelsey Mulka.
Around 4:17 a.m., Rich was about a block from his home when Mulka, still on the phone with him, heard voices in the background. Rich reassured her that he was steps away from being at his front door and hung up.
Two minutes later, Rich was shot twice. Police were on the scene within three minutes. Rich sustained bruising on his hands and face. He remained conscious, but died at a nearby hospital less than two hours later.
Rich's father, Joel Rich, could not be reached for comment, but told Fox News in January that he didn’t believe his son would leak the emails. However, he said above all, his son "wanted to make a difference in the world."

Potential fraud in Wisc
Group Files Emergency Petition in Wisconsin After Identifying 144,000 Potentially Fraudulent Ballots
Phill Kline, head of the Thomas More Society’s Amistad Project said his organization found tens of thousands of ballots that may be fraudulent — and 12,000 legal votes NOT counted!
According to unofficial results in the state, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden beat President Donald Trump by about 20,000 votes.
Republican concedes in Mich
Black Republican John James (who was promoted by Marco Rubio) Concedes Michigan Senate Race against Democratic Sen. Gary Peters after the Wolverine State certified its election results.
Potentially mishandled ballots in PA
“I am not concluding fraud happened, or that state outcomes should be changed,” Steve Miller told The Berkshire Eagle. “What I said was, assuming the accuracy of these numbers, then we have a large number of people who had a ballot requested in their name but say they did not request it, and we have a large number of people who said they mailed their ballot back but it was not counted,” he told the publication.
He’d said in a sworn statement attached to a court filing in a Pennsylvania lawsuit brought by the Trump campaign against Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar, that his analysis showed that tens of thousands of ballots requested by Republicans were either not counted or were requested by someone other than a Republican.
Georgia Secretary of State Called to Court
Trump Attorney Lin Wood is urging Georgia residents to make requests for surveillance footage of ballot drop boxes.
Wood tweeted images of a subpoena Monday night, calling Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to court. In the tweet, he asked if Raffensperger has seen an alleged tape of election fraud at State Farm Arena in Fulton County Georgia.
Attorney Sidney Powell is expected to file a lawsuit in Georgia on Wednesday.
Nevada Judge Agrees to Hear Evidence of Alleged Voter Fraud
First Judicial District Court Judge James Russell set a Dec. 3 evidentiary hearing in the case, which is being presented by President Donald Trump’s campaign.
“The complaint is kind of a very limited nature, challenging basically the machine used in Clark County,” Russell said, the Nevada Independent reported. Jesse Binnall, a Trump campaign lawyer, said the complaint is “far from the main meat of our challenge” and that evidence will come from deposed witnesses.
“We will have whistleblower testimony showing that overnight, the disks that were used to hold votes would magically have votes appear and reappear on the same desk,” he added.
The Trump campaign has alleged there are thousands of instances of provable voter fraud in Nevada, a crucial battleground state that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden won by about 23,000 votes.
“We now believe that Donald Trump won Nevada, once you take out the fraud and irregularities,” Binnall said on Fox Business last week.
“And these are instances of dead people voting, people voting in multiple jurisdictions.”
Arizona Republican Party Head Files Lawsuit for Ballot Inspection
Female Republican chairman Kelli Ward filed the court petition yesterday against the 11 Arizona Democrat presidential electors, also seeking inspection of duplicate ballots with their originals in Maricopa County.
There was an unusual number of duplicate ballots — there were something like 3.4M mail-in ballots, the primary way of voting in AZ
Kelli Ward also mentioned: “The critical process of verifying a signature determines whether a vote is counted.”
