(CNN) Several states may pass or have already passed the CROWN Act, which would outlaw discrimination based on hair texture or style. PURE EVIL! The CROWN Act stands for "Creating a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair." STUPID! The Colorado state House passed the CROWN Act on Wednesday, and the state Senate introduced the bill on Thursday. WEAK! The same day, Washington state House passed a bill that would prohibit employers and schools from discriminating against people over hairstyles and textures including afros, braids, locks and twists. The bill was introduced in the state Senate on Friday. The Minnesota bill introduced similar legislation earlier in the week.
The flurry of activity around these bills come as director Matthew A. Cherry won an Oscar for the short film "Hair Love," a story about a black father trying to do his daughter's hair. In his acceptance speech, Cherry pushed for the CROWN Act to be passed around the nation. QUOTE: "'Hair Love' was done because we wanted to see more representation in animation, we wanted to normalize black hair and there's a very important issue out there, the CROWN Act. If we can help get this passed in all 50 states it will help stories like Deandre Arnold's ... stop to happen," Cherry said. WHAT A FEMALE!
The CROWN Act is already law in California, New York and New Jersey. At least 22 states are considering the legislation, and local jurisdictions like Cincinnati, Ohio, and Montgomery County, Maryland, have passed it too.
This week Texas lawmakers said they would consider the issue too. Members of the state's Legislative Black Caucus announced this week that they were working on a bill for the 2021 legislative session, after an 18-year-old in the state was told to cut his dreadlocks or he wouldn't be able to walk at graduation. SMH. DEPORT! The legislation has also been introduced in the United States Congress.
(CNN) As the coronavirus continues to spread, some countries are working to evacuate passengers from the Diamond Princess cruise ship that has been quarantined in Japanese waters since February 3. The problem is, there are at least 359 people on board who have been diagnosed with the virus. The US has already begun evacuating some of the more than 400 Americans on board, with the understanding they will undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine once off the ship. Canada, Italy and Hong Kong are also sending evacuation flights for their citizens. While some passengers wait to get out, cases of the virus on board are continuing to rise, and 14 of the Americans already being evacuated have tested positive. The virus has killed 1,775 people so far, and sickened more than 71,000 worldwide. SUPPOSEDLY!
THIS IS DUMB: (CNN) More than 1,110 former Justice Department officials have endorsed a statement asking for Attorney General William Barr to resign. The collection of former career prosecutors and political appointees put forth the request after Barr overruled the sentencing recommendation of the prosecution team in the trial of former Trump adviser Roger Stone (THEY WANTED 7-9 YEARS). All four prosecutors then withdrew from the case. The incident has set off concern within the CORRUPT Department of Justice and the PHONY legal community at large. "Mr. Barr's actions in doing the President's personal bidding unfortunately speak louder than his words," the statement reads. In an unusual move, the FEMALE OBAMA judge overseeing Stone's case has called for a "scheduling" conference call with attorneys on Tuesday, ahead of the sentencing hearing set for later this week. It's not clear what they'll discuss.

(CNN) The US is poised to dial back its military presence in Afghanistan as part of a negotiation with the Taliban to reduce violence in the country. However, Defense Secretary Mark Esper says the exact date of the deal is still in flux. Some Afghan officials have serious questions as to how the deal will work and how the Taliban will be kept in check. US officials have reportedly reassured Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and his team that the US will hold the Taliban to their end of the deal and will stick with Afghanistan to ensure a more long-term, Afghan-led peace process.
THIS IS HOMO… (CNN) Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg, responding to comments made by conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh, said about his homosexual partner that he pretends is a “husband,” quote: “I love him very much [NO HE DOESN’T], and I'm not going to take lectures on family values from the likes of Rush Limbaugh.” OF COURSE YOU WON’T! RUSH IS DECENT, AND PETE IS DEGENERATE! Limbaugh said on air that he didn't think America would elect "a gay guy kissing his husband on the debate stage" as president.
(Drudge) Andrew MCCABE WILL NOT FACE CHARGES — He’s the former FBI official who authorized the investigation into Trump (AP) — Federal prosecutors have declined to charge former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, closing an investigation into whether the longtime target of President Donald Trump’s ire lied to federal officials about his involvement in a news media disclosure. The action resolves a criminal investigation that began nearly two years ago with a referral from the Justice Department’s inspector general’s office, which concluded that McCabe had repeatedly lied about having authorized a subordinate to share information with a newspaper reporter for a 2016 article about an FBI investigation into the Clinton Foundation.

Speaking Friday on CNN, where he works as a contributor, McCabe said it was an “absolute disgrace” that the investigation had taken so long and that he was relieved to be done with a process that he described as “so unbelievably tense.”
McCabe, a frequent target of Trump’s attacks, has denied that he intentionally misled anyone. He has said his 2018 firing — for what the Justice Department called “lack of candor” — was politically motivated. He sued the Justice Department in August, saying officials had used the inspector general’s conclusions as a pretext to rid the FBI of leaders Trump perceived as biased against him. OF COURSE HE’S BIASED, HE WORKS FOR CNN, HE HATES TRUMP! McCabe has been a target of Trump’s attacks since even before he was elected, after news emerged in the fall of 2016 that McCabe’s wife (Dr. Jill McCabe) had accepted campaign contributions from a political action committee associated with ex-Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe (A CLOSE ALLY OF HILLARY CLINTON) during an unsuccessful run for the state Senate there. SHE’S BEEN RUNNING HER MOUTH ABOUT TRUMP.
Separately, the Justice Department has begun reviewing the handling of the case against former national security adviser Michael Flynn. Reportedly, U.S. Attorney Jeff Jensen of St. Louis was working on it.
The president has seethed that more of his political enemies have not been charged, included former FBI Director James Comey and his associates.
