(Drudge) JOBLESS CLAIMS TOP 30 MILLION (Fox News) More than 3.8M Americans (or supposed americans, right) filed for unemployment (first-time filings) last week…. Pushing total job losses past 30M in just 6 weeks. (CNBC) the worst appears to be in the past. (But CNN claimed it’s gonna get worse. DON’T BELIEVE THEM!) Claims hit a record 6.87 million for the week of March 28 and have declined each week since then. Continuing claims rose to just shy of 18 million, a rise of 2.2 million from the previous week. WHAT A MESS!
(Drudge) NEWSOM EXPECTED TO CLOSE BEACHES and state parks in CA. FORGET YOU, GAVIN! GO SING AND PLAY HARP WITH YOUR COUSIN (Joanna). (NBC Los Angeles) The order was set to go into effect Friday, May 1, 2020, and there was no indication how long it would be in effect. This following the crowds that gathered at beaches last weekend, particular in Orange County.
A memo was sent by the California Chiefs Association to law enforcement agencies across the state (ahead of the announcement) detailed that the overcrowding of beaches last weekend led to the decision to close all beaches in the state and called last weekend's scenes a "violation of Governor Newsom's Shelter in Place Order." LEAVE CALIFORNIA ALONE, NEWSOM!
From Friday to Sunday, about 80,000 people crowded the sand in Newport Beach (NICE!), leading to an emergency city council meeting (COWARDS!). On Tuesday, the Newport Beach City Council voted against a proposal that would have shut down the city's beaches for the next three weekends (GOOD). But Newsom lashed out at the images of crowded Southern California beaches in his news conference Monday. WHAT A WUSS! QUOTE: "Those images are an example of what not to see, ... what not to do if we're going to make the meaningful progress that we've made in the last few weeks extend into the next number of weeks," Newsom said Monday. PSH!
(Drudge) Stable, mending patients become critically ill with little warning. Doctors aren't sure why... 'Second-week crash'... YEAH I DUNNO IF THIS IS TRUE BUT THAT’S HOW IT SOUNDS BASED ON TWO STORIES I HEARD ABOUT. (Far-left anti-Trump Wash. Post via Greenwich Time)
They tell the story of this woman: During the first week she had covid-19, Morgan Blue (she black, lost a couple of extended family members) felt weak, with a severe backache and a fever. The symptoms did not alarm doctors at her local emergency department, however. They sent her home after she showed up at the hospital. But on Day 8, she abruptly felt like she was choking. "That day, I suddenly couldn't breathe," said the 26-year-old customer service representative from Flint, Michigan. An ambulance took her to the hospital, where she spent eight days, four of them in intensive care, before she recovered and was able to go home.
For people who suffer the most severe reactions to the novel coronavirus - and their caregivers - the second week of the disease can become a time of sudden peril and heightened concern, when some of those who seem stable or mending can suddenly become critically ill.
There is little consensus among doctors and experts about why days five through 10, or thereabouts, seem to be so dangerous for some people with covid-19, the disease caused by the virus. But everyone from critical care specialists to EMTs is aware of this frightening aspect of the disease.
"This second-week crash has certainly been well described,” said one expert who still doesn’t know what’s up 2 ½ months in.
Another expert said: "There's an early stage of infection and the virus sits somewhere. You can almost look at the virus as a fifth column coming in, securing its stronghold and then slowly inducing more cells to let it in. Because of this lurking nature, your genetic makeup and preexisting conditions will affect presentation of the disease," he said.

(Drudge) SOAK THE RICH? Most want billionaires to pitch in to aid poverty, and inequality… NO! (Extreme left communist Reuters) So-called researchers claim, without evidence, that the world's billionaires could close a huge funding gap in solving global woes with philanthropy or taxes. DOUBT IT! Reuters is a far-left activist outlet, saying: We report on how to ensure people globally have economic security and a decent standard of living. (SEE? THEY HAVE A PHONY LIBERAL MAMA AGENDA. AND THEY HATE MEN, WHITES, TRUMP, AND AMERICA.) This article is by Ellen Wulfhorst | @EJWulfhorst a clueless boomer (if you look at her Twitter) who’s pro-LGBTQIA (meaning anti-family, anti-child, anti-male, anti-civilization).
ANYWAY… she writes: Eight out of 10 people (ARE CLUELESS AND) think billionaires should help end poverty, inequality and a host of global ills, a poll showed on Wednesday (THEY COULDN’T DO IT EVEN IF THEY TRIED, IDIOTS), as funding shortages and the new coronavirus stymied hopes of meeting the United Nations' development goals for 2030. THE UN IS CRAP, IT NEEDS TO BE DEFUNDED COMPLETELY. BUNCH OF EVIL PEOPLE.
The ambitious plans, known as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), were agreed unanimously by U.N. member states in 2015 with a list of targets to end hunger, gender inequality, and boost access to education and healthcare by 2030. GLOBALIST COMMUNISTS. PHONY MAMA SPIRIT!
But researchers said there was now a shortfall of $400 billion a year to achieve those goals - with a financing gap of $350 billion in the 59 poorest countries alone - which would have global implications.
"Philanthropy can step in and plug huge critical gaps," said Michael Sheldrick, chief policy officer at Global Citizen, an anti-poverty group (COMMIE!), which surveyed almost 27,000 people in 25 countries together with Glocalities, a Dutch research agency. (OH GOSH REUTERS IS JUST PUSHING PROPAGANDA FROM THIS CREEPY GROUP GLOBAL CITIZEN, GIMME A BREAK)
"The COVID-19 is an example of that," Sheldrick told the Thomson Reuters Foundation in an interview in New York. "You've seen this upsurge in philanthropy, and our hope is that we can channel this into funding the SDGs (sustainable development goals) more broadly." GO AWAY.
Organisations started by billionaires, such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Facebook, have donated millions towards testing, protective gear and other campaigns to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
Twitter's CEO Jack Dorsey earlier this month pledged $1 billion to a charitable fund to help relief efforts related to the coronavirus pandemic, with money later to be directed to girls' health and education. PSH!
Chinese billionaire and Alibaba co-founder Jack Ma pledged through his foundation to donate over 1 million coronavirus testing kits as well as masks, protective suits and ventilators to Africa. HA!
The poll found 82% of people said billionaires should help and contribute to funding the global goals. 46% favored philanthropic donations, but 35% said they should pay a “wealth tax” to fund the sustainable development goals. IDIOTS.
