(Drudge) U.S. VIRUS DEATHS: 90,068… as of Sunday SUPPOSEDLY! but President Trump insists that cases are ‘strongly trending downward’ as states start to lift lockdowns (Daily Mail) — he added “with few exceptions. Very good news, indeed!” Trump tweeted. Confirmed coronavirus cases have reached 1,519,401.
(Drudge) A Man who called it a 'fake crisis' gets infected, and issues a warning… OH GOSH. He’s a bit overweight, not very healthy looking. (NY Post) He had supposedly said it was “blown out-of-proportion,” but is now hospitalized along with his wife. “I thought it was maybe the government trying something, and it was kind of like they threw it out there to kinda distract us,” Brian Hitchens told WPTV from his hospital bed. “I’d get up in the morning and pray and trust in God for his protection, and I’d just leave it at that. There were all these masks and gloves. I thought it looks like a hysteria,” he added. The Uber driver described his ordeal in a lengthy Facebook post. “Many people still think that the Coronavirus is a fake crisis which at one time I did too and not that I thought it wasn’t a real virus going around but at one time I felt that it was blown out of proportion and it wasn’t that serious,” he wrote.*
Hitchens said he continued downplaying the pandemic until he began feeling sick and stopped working. A couple of days later, his wife also began feeling unwell, so she went to a hospital and was told to go under quarantine. But when the couple’s conditions worsened, Hitchens wrote, they went to Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center.
“They admitted us right away and we both went to ICU. I started feeling better within a few days but my wife got worse to the point where they sedated her and put her on the ventilator,” he said. “I was never put [on a] ventilator and started feeling better[,] feeling stronger[,] never had terrible aches and pains[,] just weak and exhausted,” Hitchens said, adding that his wife remains sedated.
“After 3 weeks I have come to accept that my wife may pass away and the peace I have about it is that I know without a shadow of a doubt that she will be going home to be with the Lord but I also do believe in miracles and I’m holding on to the chance that she may get healed but if not I am thankful for her I know we’ve been married for 8 years,” he said. OH GOSH.
He added: “So think about what I wrote and think about if this thing is a fake crisis. “Looking back I should have wore a mask in the beginning but I didn’t and perhaps I’m paying the price for it now but I know that if it was me that gave it to my wife I know that she forgives me and I know that God forgives me.”

(CNN) That Dr. Deborah Birx lady is criticized virus tracking — thinks the Center for Disease Control and Prevention has antiquated methods of gathering data. They also leaked a document of guidelines for re-opening that were more restrictive and extensively detailed than the White House’s guidelines, supposedly. Tension between Birx and the CDC was first reported by the Washington Post. THEY WANT MESS.

She knew Obama was bad but had been hopeful that he’d show some sense of love for America, and was heartened that he said he loved Israel. She’s about 66 or so, and has seven kids, with one son whose age she forgot! She’s upset too about their ongoing choice of rap music that changes how they view women. She’ll call for counseling, perhaps.

(Drudge) PRESIDENT LASHES OUT AT '60 MINUTES' FOR WHISTLEBLOWER INTERVIEW… (The leftwing outlet Mediaite) Trump Calls Whistleblower Dr. Rick Bright a ‘Creep’ (TRUE!) and Lashes Out at host Norah O’Donnell (no doubt a liberal woman and Trump hater). O’Donnell interviewed Dr. Rick Bright, the ousted director of a federal vaccine agency, who testified before the House last week that the administration was slow to respond to the coronavirus pandemic and pushed him out of his position for political reasons. That prompted a so-called whistleblower complaint.
“Dr. Rick Bright is the highest-ranking government scientist to charge the federal government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic has been slow and chaotic. He says it has prioritized politics over science, and has cost people their lives,” O’Donnell reported on 60 Minutes. “It has cost Dr. Bright his job.” NO.
In the interview, Bright said he was removed from his post in retaliation for cautioning against the effectiveness of hydrochloroquine as a treatment for coronavirus. He also warned, “We don’t yet have a national strategy to respond fully to this pandemic.”
“The best scientists that we have in our government who are working really hard to try to figure this out aren’t getting that clear, cohesive leadership, strategic plan message yet,” Bright told CBS. “Until they get that, it’s still gonna be chaotic.” WHAT A DISGUSTING GUY.
Trump previously slimed Bright as a “disgruntled employee.” (TRUE!) In his tweets attacking the CBS News show Sunday night, he labelled the scientist a “creep” and — according to Mediaite — ”baselessly” accused him of being a partisan who “fabricates stories” and “spews lies.”
Trump also took aim at O’Donnell, urging Shari Redstone, the chairwoman of CBS’s parent company, to “take a look” the anchor of CBS Evening News and her colleagues.

Trump, apparently a dedicated viewer of 60 Minutes, had previously lashed out at the CBS News program just last week, after it aired an in-depth report on the “disinformation campaign” hampering his administration’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.
(Drudge) 100,000 crew members still remain trapped at sea on cruise ships… DANG! (Miami Herald) In the avenue of ocean that stretches south from Miami to Cuba and northeast to the Bahamas, dozens of cruise ships sail back and forth. Every so often, they come into Florida ports to refuel and restock. Otherwise, they wait.
The crew members on board — many no longer receiving paychecks — wait for news about when they will return home and see their families again. Two months after the cruise industry shut down amid repeated COVID-19 outbreaks on ships, more than 100,000 crew members remain trapped at sea with little reliable information about what will happen to them. HOPEFULLY NONE OF THEM ARE AUTISTIC!
While most passengers were able to get off cruise ships by early April, crew members have largely remained stuck. During the prolonged isolation, the virus continued to spread through the ships. At least 578 crew contracted COVID-19 at sea and seven have died, according to a Herald analysis. DANG!
At least two crew members have leaped overboard in apparent suicides. On May 10, a 39-year-old crew member from Ukraine on the Regal Princess ship died after jumping overboard while the ship was anchored off Rotterdam, Netherlands. Late last month a crew member jumped off Royal Caribbean’s Jewel of the Seas ship while it was near Greece; his body was never found. GEEZ!
When cruise companies first shut down operations on March 13, they expected to cancel cruises for just 30 days, believing the crisis would quickly pass, much like the 2002 SARS pandemic that killed fewer than 800 worldwide, and they would be up and running again soon. Some crew were sent home in March, including many entertainment employees, while some new crew members were brought on.
But on April 9, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention banned cruising in U.S. waters through at least late July, citing ongoing outbreaks among crew who remained on ships. (MAAAAN, FORGET THE CDC!) The CDC put new rules in place limiting repatriation to private transportation and requiring cruise line executives to sign legal agreements assuring the agency’s health rules will be followed. Some countries, including Haiti and the Philippines, are requiring crew members be tested before they can return. Others, like Grenada, want cruise companies to pay for a land-based quarantine once crew members arrive.
Some crew members have spent days in small, windowless rooms with no information about when they will be going home as their ships float in and out of U.S. ports. Some are on long journeys crossing the Atlantic Ocean without any assurance their home countries will allow them to dock. Some were told for weeks that their ships were virus-free only to see colleagues quietly evacuated to Miami hospitals days later.
