(CNN claims) More than 5 million people worldwide have now been diagnosed with Covid-19, and almost 330,000 have died, supposedly. To make matters even more difficult, the World Health Organization just reported the highest number of cases recorded in a 24-hour period during the pandemic -- more than 106,000 across the globe... to be expected! Brazil alone recorded more than 20,000 cases in a day and is now second to only Russia and the US in infection numbers (WOULDN’T THAT MAKE IT THIRD?). In the US, nearly 93,000 people have died, so they say. A new model suggests if the country had implemented social distancing just two weeks earlier, it could have prevented up to 84% of deaths and 82% of cases. YOU CAN MAKE A MODEL SPECULATE ANYTHING OTHER THAN REALITY.
(Drudge) CDC sources claim (without evidence) that: the Administration is putting politics ahead of science… WHAT AN EYE-ROLL, HUH? (CNN, of course) “We’ve been muzzled,” claims one. WORKERS ALWAYS THINK THEY KNOW BETTER THAN THE BOSS!
(CNN) In the early weeks of the US coronavirus outbreak, staff members in the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention had tracked a growing number of transmissions in Europe and elsewhere, and proposed a global advisory that would alert flyers to the dangers of air travel. But about a week passed before the alert was issued publicly -- crucial time lost when about 66,000 European travelers were streaming into American airports every day. THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION WAS SAYING TRAVEL BANS ARE NOT NECESSARY. Some anonymous CDC official (six of them talked to CNN apparently), claimed, "What's tough is that if we would have acted earlier on what we knew and recommended, we would have saved lives and money." Looks like the CDC is pretending to be know-it-alls after the fact, trying to blame Trump for something they should be mad at the UN and China about.
One former CDC official admits that “The CDC ... were part of the mistakes with the early problems with testing,” and so it seemed like “they weren’t trusted as much!”
During the swine flu pandemic in 2009, Dr. Anne Schuchat -- then the CDC's director of the National Center of Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (she's now the principal deputy director) -- was a constant presence in the media, so much so that she became the inspiration for Kate Winslet's character in the movie "Contagion."
During the Ebola crisis of 2014, then CDC head Tom Frieden took command of the public spotlight, heading up press conferences to deliver the latest news and often serving as the voice of the federal government's response in media interviews. THANK GOD IT’S NOT THAT WAY TODAY! I DON’T TRUST THEM!
(Drudge) CALIFORNIA: MOST DEATHS IN DAY… BECAUSE THEY’RE LIBERALS! I HEARD FLORIDA HAD WAY FEWER THAN NEW YORK. Counties are pushing to re-open, thank God. California only had 132 new “coronavirus-related” deaths in the state Tuesday (LA Times via MSN). The highest number of deaths previously reported in a single day statewide was 117 in late April. SO WHAT! RIGHT? The LA Times is quoting L.A. County Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer whom I don’t trust whatsoever.

(NY Times via DNYUZ) Moncef Slaoui, is a venture capitalist and a former longtime executive at GlaxoSmithKline. He resigned from a $30B tech company after Trump named him chief adviser for Operation Warp Speed, the federal drive for coronavirus vaccines and treatments.

(Drudge) Man accused of shooting a WAFFLE HOUSE cook after a face mask dispute... HE BLACK! (KDVR) — Kelvin Watson, 27, was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder for allegedly shooting a Waffle House employee in Aurora, Colorado, one night after being asked to wear a face covering inside the restaurant. He’d come to the restaurant shortly after midnight on May 14 (last Weds night/Thurs morning) and was not wearing a mask. A waitress told Watson he needed to have a mask on or he could not be served. The restaurant was offering carry-out orders.
Watson allegedly returned with a mask that he was not wearing, and was again told he could not be served (PROBABLY BECAUSE HE WAS ACTING CRAZY). Story goes Watson pulled out a small gun and placed it on the counter, then told the cook he could “blow your brains out.”
The following night, May 15, (Thurs/Fri) just after midnight, police say Watson returned to the restaurant. The same cook from the previous night told Watson he was not going to be served. Watson then allegedly slapped the cook across the face.
The cook told police he began running toward the back of the Waffle House. Watson shot the cook in his chest or abdomen outside the restaurant, according to the court document. The cook told police he ran toward his home while calling 911. The cook was taken to a hospital, and was released Friday afternoon. WOW!
The City of Aurora does not have a mandate to wear face masks. Masks are required in other communities across the Denver metro area. BLACKS SHOULD BE EXEMPT!
(Drudge) Michigan dam failures trigger historic flooding… “catastrophic,” says one! (Accuweather) Late Tuesday night, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer declared a state of emergency after the Edenville Dam and the Sanford Dam in Midland Country each failed — amid days of heavy rain — thousands were forced to evacuate their homes. By Wednesday night, nearly 11,000 people in Midland were evacuated in less than 12 hours and no injuries or deaths were reported.
"Extremely dangerous flooding is ongoing along the Tittabawassee River in Midland County due to catastrophic failures at the Edenville and Sanford dams," the NWS (National Weather Service) wrote. "A Flood Warning is in effect, and anyone near the river should seek higher ground immediately, avoid driving into flood waters, and continue to heed evacuation orders given by local authorities. Life-threatening flooding continues today."
Threat of toxic contamination looms… (British leftist outlet Guardian) There’s supposedly toxic chemicals put in the river by the industrial giant Dow Chemical. The pollution supposedly built up in sediment in and along the river and in its floodplains.
The US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) superfund program has been overseeing Dow’s cleanup of the site since 2012, and the last portion of the project was expected to be completed in 2021. TOO BAD GRETCHEN WHITMER REFUSED TO FIX THE DAMS.
(Drudge) NFL Player Sues UNITED Over an Alleged Sex Assault On a Flight… An 'Intoxicated Woman' In the Middle Seat Grabbed His Private Part, and Ripped Off His Mask… #MeToo! (CBS Sports quotes the man’s lawyer) "This matter is unfortunately based on several instances of assault -- physical, sexual and verbal -- on a red-eye United Airlines flight [Newark to L.A., Feb 10th]. Instances could have been prevented, if not the harm reduced, had United's personnel simply taken action sooner," the attorneys (Darren Darwish and Benji Azizian) wrote in a statement. STEWARDESSES DID NOTHING until his fourth complaint, at which point they finally decided to move the woman to an empty row. THEY DON’T CARE, THEY LET FEMALES DO WHAT THEY WANT!
