The Trump admin may be sending federal agents to more US cities.
GOOD. DO IT!
(TheSkimm) For nearly two months, protesters AND RIOTERS across the US have taken to the streets to call for an end to systemic racism and police brutality (NEITHER OF WHICH EXIST). In Portland, Oregon, things have gotten especially heated. Last week, the Trump admin sent federal agents to the area. While many protesters have been peaceful, over the weekend some set fire to a police union building while others have thrown cans or hit officers. The mayor had characterized the situation as "violence and vandalism." But he and Oregon's top officials want the federal authorities to leave.
They say the feds are making things worse. Agents have been accused of not identifying themselves when arresting people and detaining them in unmarked vans. Some were caught on camera pepper-spraying and beating a Navy veteran (SO WHAT). And one protester was reportedly hospitalized with a skull fracture after a federal agent fired a projectile at his face (IT’S WHAT HAPPENS).
The state AG has sued the admin, accusing it of violating protesters' constitutional rights to assembly and due process (LIAR). But the Trump admin hasn't backed off. Earlier this week, President Trump threatened to send federal law enforcement officials to other US cities...
New York, Philadelphia, Detroit, Baltimore, and Oakland. And the Department of Homeland Security is reportedly planning to send 150 agents to Chicago. The admin says it's to help local law enforcement deal with a spike in crime. There have been over 1,500 shootings in Chicago this year – and another 14 people were injured in a shooting yesterday. But critics see Trump's move as a political one during an election year since he said the cities he's looking at are "all run by very liberal Democrats."
IT IS LEGAL
The federal gov can send in backup to protect federal buildings. And state and local officials can request some help. Chicago's mayor says she'd welcome a partnership with the admin but that a Portland-style deployment would make the city "less safe." PSH. IT’S NOT SAFE IN THE FIRST PLACE!
Trump says the agents have "done a fantastic job." But governors etc. want to go to the courts or Congress to stop Trump from protecting the citizens.

(The Week) Tom Ridge, a former two-term Republican governor of Pennsylvania who former President George W. Bush tapped as the first DHS head (the newly formed Dept. of Homeland Security, which was founded after the 9/11/2001 attacks), told Sirius XM host Michael Smerconish on Tuesday that's not what DHS is meant to do. OF COURSE IT IS. THESE ARE DOMESTIC ENEMIES, TERRORISTS!
"The department was established to protect America from the ever-present threat of global terrorism. It was not established to be the president’s personal militia," Ridge said. WHAT A COWARD.
Ridge did say he would "welcome the opportunity to work with any federal agency to reduce crime or lawlessness in the cities" if he were governor. But "it would be a cold day in hell before I would consent to an uninvited, unilateral intervention into one of my cities," he added, specifically calling out how the federal authorities were unwelcome in Portland.
Acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf has defended the agents by saying they were stopping "violent extremists" from destroying property. But the agents, some of them unmarked, have reportedly arrested people off the streets in Portland even if they aren't near federal property or seemingly doing anything criminal.

Toward the end of the hour, a southern man from SC or NC recounts his brother or cousin getting killed by a black mob after work late when he bought a 6-pack of beers for himself and refused to give a black dude one. Somebody kicked him in the head and he died 6 days later, braindead. SMH. The caller says he hates slavery, that he was raised with and by black people — he’s white. Jesse tells him this anger has nothing to do with slavery.

Trump defending the country
Trump tweeted on Sunday, July 19th: We are trying to help Portland, not hurt it. Their leadership has, for months, lost control of the anarchists and agitators. They are missing in action. We must protect Federal property, AND OUR PEOPLE. These were not merely protesters, these are the real deal!
He also tweeted: The Radical Left Democrats, who totally control Biden, will destroy our Country as we know it. Unimaginably bad things would happen to America. Look at Portland, where the pols are just fine with 50 days of anarchy. We sent in help. Look at New York, Chicago, Philadelphia. NO!
Oakland Mayor's Home was Vandalized…
Paint on the garage door, driveway, stone, and brick walls — with messages that say “Defund” the Police (“OPD”), “Cancel Rent,” “Homes for all,” “Drop the Charges,” “Blood on Your Hands,” “Wake Up Libby,” That’s Democrat female Mayor Libby Schaaf who tipped off illegals of an ICE raid the other year.
Many of the houses in the neighborhood have signs of support for the Black Lives Matter movement, including Mayor Schaaf's home, where a sign can be seen in a window above her garage. Graffiti was left in front of several other homes in the neighborhood, too.
Immigration madness
(TheSkimm) President Trump yesterday signed a memo directing the Commerce Secretary to collect data on “undocumented immigrants” (ILLEGAL ALIENS) and remove them from the census's final population totals. Reminder: The census helps determine how many seats each state gets in the House of Representatives, and how federal funding is distributed for things like schools and hospitals. (AHA! SO THE DEMS WANT MORE POWER BY BRINGING IN MORE ILLEGALS!) Since 1790, the census has counted US citizens and noncitizens, regardless of SO-CALLED immigration status. Now, Trump's saying political power shouldn't be given "to people who should not be here at all."

(The Skimm) Oh there’s gonna be a Census lawsuit: It's unclear how President Trump’s plan could be enforced. Especially since last year, the Supreme Court blocked the admin from asking people if they're citizens when they fill out the census (WHICH IS INSANE, LIBERAL JUDGES USURPING THE PRESIDENT’S POWER). Now, so-called immigration rights advocates are saying 'see you in court.'

Someone Opened fire at a funeral home…
(CBS Chicago) This was Tuesday about 6:30 PM — 10 female victims and five male victims after people opened fire on funeral attendees. The victims range in age from 21 to 65 years old. Police said at least six people are in serious condition Wednesday morning. The funeral was for a victim who was shot and apparently killed. The funeral attendees began firing back at a black stolen vehicle involved in the shooting — police believe there are three suspects. At least 60 shell casings were located, which is not surprising.
It’s unknown whether some of the victims may have been perpetrators. One woman who was outside for a cigarette break who was shot — she was fighting for her life Tuesday night.

(Fox 5 NY) Armed kids as young as 10 have carjacked more than a dozen people on the South Side, police say.
Chicago police say a group of children, ages 10 to 17, carjacked at least 16 people since late June (6 just on Saturday!) — wreaking havoc on a generally peaceful South Side neighborhood.
Police said shots were fired by the suspects in two of the carjackings, but no one was hit.
No arrests have been made! They carjacked one teacher lady’s BMW and used it to carjack another lady! They crashed it a couple days after the carjacking and cops recovered it!
