The Passionate one resigns from a Christian board

(CNN) Florida GOP Rep. Ted Yoho has resigned from the board of a Christian organization that works to “fight hunger” following his tense exchange with Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York.

Chris Ford, the deputy director for strategic communications and campaigns of Bread for the World, on Saturday evening confirmed Yoho's resignation to CNN. The Florida congressman resigned on Friday during a meeting with the organization board, according to a statement from Bread for the World.

"We believe that Rep. Ted Yoho's recent actions and words as reported in the media are not reflective of the ethical standards expected of members of our Board of Directors," the organization wrote in a statement.

"...[B]read sought his resignation as an action that reaffirms our commitment to coming alongside women and people of color, nationally and globally, as they continue to lead us to a more racially inclusive and equitable world." DOESN’T SOUND VERY CHRISTIAN! SOUNDS COMMIE! GOOD RIDDANCE!

What happened earlier

According to a reporter from The Hill, Mike Lillis who SUPPOSEDLY overheard the initial remarks, Yoho came up to Ocasio-Cortez outside the House steps on Monday and sparked a conversation about her position on unemployment and crime in New York City. Yoho said she was "disgusting" and told her she is out of her mind, according to The Hill. Ocasio-Cortez said he was being rude, and Yoho said "f***ing b****" as he walked away.

On Wednesday, Yoho apologized on the House floor to Ocasio-Cortez for the "abrupt manner of the conversation" he had with her, but he denied using the vulgar term to describe her and said that he was "very cognizant"of his language because he was married and a father. The Republican also said it "is true that we disagree on policies and visions for America, but that does not mean we should be disrespectful."

Last week, The Hill reported: Ocasio-Cortez won't accept Yoho apology: He's 'refusing responsibility' (WHICH IS RICH COMING FROM HER SHE HATES RESPONSIBILITY SHE’S A SOCIALIST.

Yoho's office told CNN in a statement Tuesday that he "made a brief comment to himself as he walked away summarizing what he believes her policies to be: b—s—."

Terror attacks on America continue

MORE RIOTING AND LAWLESSNESS IN CITIES

(Drudge / Fox News) Another night of rioting and lawlessness exploded in more than half a dozen U.S. cities Saturday night -- with the mayhem including damage to federal buildings, local police precincts, and a fatal shooting in Austin, Texas, Saturday night. Police said a man carrying a weapon (I HEARD AN AK-47) approached a vehicle – but a person inside the vehicle fatally shot the man (I HEARD SOMEONE ELSE FIRED SHOTS INTO THE VEHICLE AFTER THE SHOOTING). SO THAT’S GOOD. The man who shot the attacker in self-defense was cooperating with authorities

One witness said the so-called “victim” (perhaps really the perp) was well known to many protesters, and a group of people was seen grieving at the scene.

In Aurora, CO, a vehicle drove through a crowd — at least one person hospitalized. Elsewhere in the city, demonstrators pushed down a fence, threw objects at police officers, broke windows and started a fire inside the city’s courthouse on Saturday night. This particular unrest was also associated with the death of Elijah McClain, a Black male who died after an altercation with police nearly a year ago.

In Oakland, CA, a courthouse fire

In Los Angeles, damage to a courthouse and clashes with cops.

Rioters were arrested in Omaha, NE.

In Portland, OR, they breached the fence around the courthouse.

In Seattle, WA, at one point during Saturday’s daylong so-called protests, rioters threw an explosive device that created an eight-inch hole in a wall of the police department’s East District.

A Starbucks store was destroyed and other businesses were covered with graffiti, the Seattle Times reported.

Funeral for a ZERO...

Body of civil rights icon John Lewis crosses Selma bridge… OH GOSH.

(Drudge / AP) — The late U.S. Rep. John Lewis’s dead body crossed the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama, for the final time Sunday as remembrances continue for the civil rights icon.

BTW: (Wikipedia) Edmund Pettus was a senior officer of the Confederate States Army who commanded infantry in the Western Theater of the American Civil War. After the war, he was politically active in the Ku Klux Klan, serving as a grand dragon.[1]

The Edmund Pettus Bridge across the Alabama River in Selma, built in 1940, was named in his honor. He was a Democrat, a military leader, and a judge before the Democrat Party became totally corrupt and pure evil like they are today.

The bridge named after the great Edmund Pettus became a landmark in the fight for SO-CALLED “racial justice” when John Lewis and other civil rights marchers (AND PERHAPS RIOTERS) were ALLEGEDLY beaten there 55 years ago on “Bloody Sunday,” a key event that helped galvanize support for the passage of the Voting Rights Act. Lewis returned to Selma each March in commemoration, resting on his laurels.

Yesterday, his coffin was loaded atop a horse-drawn wagon that retraced the route through Selma from Brown Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, where the 1965 march began. It was a black wagon pulled by dark horses. People chanted, “Thank you, John Lewis!” and “Good trouble!” the phrase Lewis used to describe his dumb activism.

Some crowd members sang the gospel song “Woke Up This Morning With My Mind Stayed on Jesus.” Later, some onlookers sang the civil rights anthem “We Shall Overcome” and other gospel tunes. WHAT AN EYE-ROLL!

A little background

This man spent his career pushing partial birth abortion, the radical LGBT homosexual agenda, and sought to force black kids to go to failing public schools, rejecting school choice, and rejecting the first and second amendment, pushing gun control and hate crime laws (OnTheIssues.org). Yet he called himself a Baptist Christian.

Here was an ACTUAL great man

Roger AILES GETS THE LAST WORD: TAPES REVEALED…

(Drudge / Newsweek) The “controversial” founder of Fox News is being explored in a new film by the great Jon Voight, a relatively conservative old school Oscar winning actor and father of the disgraceful actress Angelina Jolie.

It was set to debut this past Friday and is NOW STREAMING… ManInTheArena.com is the documentary film’s website about Roger Ailes. It features original interviews with President Donald Trump, Rush Limbaugh, Rudy Giuliani and Bill O'Reilly, along with family members.
