MORE SINEMA MADNESS
(WND) Soros funds group that stalked Sinema in bathroom
As you know: Activists with Living United for Change in Arizona videoed Sinema while she was teaching at Arizona State University on Saturday after she refused to meet with the organization to discuss her opposition to the $3.5 trillion Build Back Better spending bill.
The Washington Free Beacon reported that LUCHA aka Living United’s biggest donor, by far, is Soros' Open Society Foundation. Open Society gave the LUCHA group $250,000 out of their reported $328,000 revenue in 2017. Worse, Open Society gave LUCHA $1.5 million out of their reported $1.7 million in revenue in 2019!
(Free Beacon) Living United / LUCHA falsely bills itself as a grassroots community organizer, it is funded by several deep-pocketed progressive donors.
Bold PAC, the fundraising arm of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, gave $12,500 to Living United on Aug. 4, according to Federal Election Commission records.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s pro-invasion “charity,” FWD.us, gave $7,500 to Living United last year. The Ford Foundation gave the organization a $500,000 grant in 2018. The National Education Association, the largest teachers' union in the country, contributed $60,000 to Living United in both 2017 and 2019.
OIL SPILL
(CNN) California’s BETA Gov. Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency yesterday in response to the oil spill currently coating parts of the Southern California coast. Though teams are working to contain the spill, it's still threatening the local environment, and the extent of the damage may not be known for weeks.
BUDGET HYPE
(CNN) While congressional Democrats try to reach an agreement on the multi-trillion-dollar COMMUNIST spending bill, another priority on Capitol Hill this week will be staving off the looming debt crisis.
The deadline to suspend or lift the debt ceiling is ESTIMATED as October 18, as predicted by Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen (evil woman). However, that’s really just an estimation, and there’s a possibility the government could risk default days before that -- or days after.
Republicans as a whole don’t want to raise the debt limit, and have blocked Democratic attempts to do so. Democrats could get it done alone, but that would require a convoluted method like reconciliation. If they do decide on a go-it-alone path, they need to do so quickly as such processes could take days or even weeks to complete.
Yesterday, Sleepy Joe Biden said he couldn't guarantee the debt ceiling will be lifted due to what he called the GOP’s “hypocritical, dangerous and disgraceful” opposition. BACK AT YA!
VOTER INTEGRITY
(CNN) 19 US states have passed new laws this year that make it harder to vote (MEANING HOPEFULLY HARDER TO CHEAT), according to an updated analysis by the EXTREME-LEFT Brennan Center for Justice.
MONEY GRUBBING JOURNALISTS
(CNN) The International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) released an exposé of the financial secrets and offshore dealings of dozens of heads of state, public officials and politicians from 91 countries and territories.
Hundreds of “journalists” (THE SCUM OF THE EARTH) spent two years investigating the nearly 12 million confidential files, now known as the Pandora Papers. In all, they reveal a parallel financial universe where great wealth is kept beyond the reach of taxes, creditors and accountability. NICE.
The ICIJ pointed out that many who could end offshore practices actually benefit from it. Washington COMPost reporter Greg Miller says that these accounts often aren’t illegal, because they abide by the local jurisdictions where this offshore wealth is kept. But it’s a practice that’s highly exploitative and contributes to wealth inequality (AN IMAGINARY PROBLEM).
Such practices, Miller says, also frequently go hand and hand with corruption and criminal activity. A MEANINGLESS STATEMENT, LOOK AT ALL THE CORRUPT POOR CRIMINALS!

MORE CENSORSHIP AND GOVT IN BED WITH BIG TECH, YEAH THAT’LL SOLVE IT!
(TheSkimm) Who's about to lose a lot of followers...
Facebook. Today, Frances Haugen – the “whistleblower” who leaked research on the harmful effects of social media to the press – is testifying in front of a Senate subcommittee. Facebook’s internal research had found that Instagram negatively impacted young teens. The company allegedly knew about it. But downplayed it. A FB exec was in the committee’s hot seat last week – but now, lawmakers want to hear from Haugen herself. Including her eight complaints filed with the SEC about how Facebook misled investors and the public.
Spoiler alert: Haugen's been speaking out about her time at the company. And how plenty of research showed the social media giant fueled hate, misinformation, and political unrest (PSH). CNET's been streaming her testimony since about 10 am ET (7 PT).
COMMENTS
(The Epoch Times) Facebook Whistleblower Claims Profit Was Prioritized Over Clamping Down on Hate Speech — NO SUCH THING!
The great Greg from Wilmington states (after the 60 Minutes interview segment by CBS and Scott Pelley), QUOTE: I am quite certain that this Whistleblower Frances Haugen is a setup. Amazing that they talked about FB inciting January 6 stroll in the Capitol, but not a word about what fb contributed towards BLM Minneapolis, Seattle and Portland mass burndown (AND UNTOLD DESTRUCTION ELSEWHERE). Yeah I really believe she is a whistle blower... Not.
Independent liberal journalist and past JLP guest Michael Tracey states: 'Of course the [QUOTE-UNQUOTE] "Facebook whistleblower" receives a national red-carpet media tour because she finds a way to blame the platform for "misinformation" and "hate," i.e. the things political/cultural elites are always looking to find a scapegoat for, to explain trends they don't like'
NETWORK DOWN
...Oh and speaking of unrest, FB, IG, and WhatsApp had people constantly refreshing. Turns out, networking issues are SUPPOSEDLY to blame for the six-hour outage yesterday. At least we had LinkedIn (WHO USES LINKEDIN? WOMEN. GO HOME, LADIES!).
MORE ON THE SINEMA STALKERS
(The Epoch Times) Arizona Authorities Probing Illegal BATHROOM Recording of Sen. Sinema
AS YOU KNOW: Sinema was harassed over the weekend at Arizona State University (ASU) in Phoenix, where she teaches. She was followed by activists into a bathroom and recorded while inside, a violation of state law.
“The ASU Police Department is working with Senator Sinema and conducting a full investigation of the incident that occurred Sunday,” Adam Wolfe, the public information officer for the university, told The Epoch Times in an email.
A state statute makes it illegal for any person to film another without their consent in a restroom or bathroom.
Violators can be charged with a class 5 felony. Violators can be sentenced to up to 2 1/2 years in jail.
Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) has said nothing. Republican primary candidate Blake Masters wants his seat. He stated: “Recording people in bathrooms is illegal. In a sane country, these agitators would be arrested and prosecuted,” he told The Epoch Times in an email. “I’ve been shocked at Mark Kelly’s refusal to defend Sen. Sinema or even critique the activists.”
