Amazon Quietly Bans Books Containing Undefined ‘Hate Speech’

(Epoch Times) Amazon has adopted a rule against books that contain anything the company labels as “hate speech.” It appears there was no announcement of the new rule. It was only noticed by media after the online retailer recently banned a book that criticizes transgender ideology.

It’s not clear what Amazon means by “hate speech” or even if it used that label to drop that particular book. ...But insider evidence indicates [tech platforms]... at least in some instances ignore violations when politically convenient.

Amazon spokesman emailed The Epoch Times:

“...we reserve the right not to sell certain content as described in our content guidelines for books…. we do not take selection decisions lightly.”

The statement omitted that the $1.5 trillion company changed the rules... apparently without telling … customers.

Its book policy used to contain no mention of “hate speech,” according to a version of the page archived on Aug. 10.

The current “Content Guidelines for Books” include a section against “Offensive Content” that reads: “We don’t sell certain content including content that we determine is hate speech…” and lumps the imaginary concept in with pornography, pedophilia, and terrorism.

What they banned

JustTheNews reported Amazon’s new policy after the banning of “When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Moment,” a 2018 book by Ryan Anderson, president of the Washington-based think tank Ethics and Public Policy Center.

QUOTE: “A week after they removed my book, Amazon still refuses to say which aspect of their ‘content policy’ the book violates (after three years of not violating that policy). And they refuse to say which page of the book commits the offense,” he said in a Feb. 26 tweet.

The book argues that the push for sex-change procedures is driven by ideology rather than sound medical advice, according to a review.

The book disappeared around the same time Anderson published an op-ed in the New York Post critical of a bill pushed by the Biden administration that would insert sexual orientation and gender identity as protected categories under the Civil Rights Act of 1964. AHA!

YouTube Suspends Rudy Giuliani Over ‘Election Integrity Policy,’ Nicotine Use

(Epoch Times) Google-owned YouTube said it’s a 2-week suspension of the former NYC mayor and Trump’s personal lawyer — it’s the second time.

QUOTE: “We removed content from the Rudy W. Giuliani channel for violating our sale of regulated goods policy, which prohibits content facilitating the use of nicotine, and our presidential election integrity policy,” a YouTube female spokesman stated.

QUOTE: “Additionally, in accordance with our long standing strikes system, we issued a strike against the... channel, which temporarily restricts uploading or live-streaming.”

The “nicotine use” portion could be in reference to Giuliani’s promotion of cigars and cigar companies during his YouTube videos. RME.

...YouTube previously suspended Giuliani’s account in January, citing his content about the 2020 election. If he is suspended...a third time, the account will be permanently banned.

A Google spokesman LIED, writing: “We have clear Community Guidelines [FALSE!] ... and we enforce our Community Guidelines consistently [FALSE!], regardless of speaker [FALSE!] and without regard to political viewpoints [FALSE!].”

OUTRIGHT LIES.

Around the same time, the firm removed a video of an attorney testifying to the Ohio legislature and claimed it included COVID-19 misinformation. In a similar move, YouTube also removed testimony given by a lawyer for Trump during a U.S. congressional hearing.

Senior Biden Adviser Says White House Will Start Acting on Reparations Without Congress

(Epoch Times) That’s direct payments to black Americans.

White House senior adviser Cedric Richmond (a black phony politician, married to a white or Hispanic female [maybe a doctor], Cedric Richmond leeched off the gov’t in the House of Representatives for 10 years) — he told Axios Feb. 28: “We don’t want to wait on a study. We’re going to start acting now.”

QUOTE: “We have to start breaking down systemic racism and barriers that have held people of color back and especially African Americans,” Richmond lied. “We have to do stuff now.”

QUOTE: “If you start talking about free college tuition to [HBCUs — historically black colleges and universities] and you start talking about free community college in Title I and all of those things, I think that you are well on your way,” he said, noting that a timeline for Congress’s commission to study reparations wasn’t known.

Legislation for reparations was first introduced by the disgraced and evil late Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.) in 1989. In recent years, evil female Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) has repeatedly introduced the measure.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki last month told reporters that Biden is open to creating a commission to study the proposal.

QUOTE: “He certainly would support a study of reparations,” she said. “He understands we don’t need a study to take action right now on systemic racism, so he wants to take actions within his own government in the meantime.”

Sleazy House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn called on people to “admit” that racial inequality “exists” and “then come up with...ways to deal with it.” He doesn’t think it’s fair because many whites could get reparations too.

Fear-mongering smears against Americans

(CNN) FBI Director Chris Wray will talk about the January 6 "insurrection" (Capitol protest that got out-of-hand) today before the Senate Judiciary Committee — his first public testimony on the subject.

Wray's team of LIBERAL federal investigators is currently chasing thousands of leads in twin efforts to prosecute people involved in the January 6 attack on the US Capitol and to try to prevent feared follow-up attacks in Washington and around the country.

CNN says federal law enforcement officials have sought to reassure the American public in the months since the riot — but I don’t think the public is concerned at all.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Dick Durbin (D-IL) talked about “threats to America” of which he is one, but he’s scapegoating imaginary “religious and racial based hate groups,” pretending that’s not the establishment Democrat and RINO parties.

The right had long been calling on Trump to FIRE Christopher Wray who is an anti-white liberal (a George W. Bush RINO) — he’s the guy who replaced James Comey. TERRIBLE.
