STORM'S A’BEEN ROLLIN’ THROUGH
(CNN) More than 50 million people are under winter weather alerts across the Eastern US as freezing rain, ice and snow have left more than 180,000 people without power. Efforts to clear roads in South Carolina, Virginia… several crashes!
Air travel snarled by the wintry conditions (and the Virus Hype), more than 3,000 US flights canceled yesterday and more than 1,200 flights canceled as of this morning, per FlightAware.com.
Florida panhandle saw rare snow flurries yesterday, but much more dangerous conditions in southwest Florida: at least two tornadoes destroyed at least 28 homes in Lee County.
SPEAKING OF STUPID VIRUS HYPE
(CNN) The Australian Open is underway in Melbourne without tennis HERO Novak Djokovic. The world’s No. 1-ranked men’s player was deported from the FAILED country of AUSTRALIS yesterday after losing a legal challenge against a decision revoking his visa for the second time.
In a virtual hearing earlier in the day, three Federal Court “judges” (SO-CALLED) unanimously dismissed Novak Djokovic's application to overturn the CORRUPT immigration minister's PATHETIC decision to cancel the Serbian athlete’s visa, but did not publish their reasons for the ruling.
The young, healthy Serb is not vaccinated against the over-hyped China Virus (although he’d already tested positive for it weeks ago anyway, so this requirement is insane). Yet they decided could not be admitted to the country under a “medical exemption.” IT’S NOT ABOUT HEALTH, IT’S ABOUT ARBITRARY AND NONSENSICAL RULES! Djokovic had hoped to win a record-breaking 21st men's grand slam title, making him the best EVER.
CHINA VIRUS
Health care professionals are ramping up efforts to inform parents that unvaccinated children face increased vulnerability to Covid-19. While early data indicates Omicron appears to cause less severe symptoms and leads to fewer hospitalizations, its rapid spread indicates more children are likely to become infected. For the week ending January 6, nearly 600,000 child Covid-19 cases were reported nationwide, according to a report from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children's Hospital Association -- a 78% increase from the prior week. Schools are also a focus as many struggle to remain open for in-person learning -- but a lack of money isn't the problem. Much of the $190 billion that Congress authorized for schools earlier in the pandemic has yet to be used. In a majority of states, less than 20% of the federal money had been spent by the end of November, according to data from the US Department of Education.
VOTING RIGHTS
Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a national holiday honoring the civil rights leader who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964 for advancing racial equality and social justice. In honor of King’s legacy, current civil rights leaders are vowing to keep pressure on Congress to pass voting and election bills in the face of ongoing Senate delays on the legislation. Martin Luther King III, the son of the late civil rights leader who would have turned 93 on Saturday said "the stakes could not be higher to protect and expand" his father's legacy by passing measures that strengthen voter rights. Sens. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona are both needed to get the bills over the finish line, but the two Democrats remain opposed to changing filibuster rules. The Senate is expected to take up the voting legislation on Tuesday.

Texas synagogue hostage situation ends with hostages freed/escaped and alleged Muslim terrorist killed //

TEXAS SYNAGOGUE: MUSLIM TERROR ATTACK?
(CNN) QUOTE: “Without the instruction we received, we would not have been prepared to act and flee when the situation presented itself.” So said Rabbi Charlie Cytron-Walker, one of the four people held hostage at a Texas synagogue in an hours-long standoff Saturday before a rescue team entered the building and killed the suspect (WHO APPARENTLY WAS NOT A WHITE MAN, B/C CNN WOULDA SAID IT?).
(CNN) The corrupt liberal FBI identified the hostage-taker as Malik Faisal Akram, a 44-year-old British national — a BRIT?? J/K — not an Englishman, I took a peak at his pics. NOT A NORMAL WHITE MAN, ALTHOUGH I HEAR THEY CONSIDER ARABS “WHITE.” (he’d just traveled here after New Year’s)
(Sky News) Two teenagers were arrested in Manchester by officers from Counter Terror Policing as part of the international globalist investigation into this attack.
Weak, pathetic Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he "absolutely stands in solidarity with the Jewish community, both in the UK and indeed in Texas." His official spokesman said: "This was a terrible and anti-Semitic act of terrorism." (I’d like to hear our politicians and black leaders fall over themselves condemning the Christmas parade terror attack in Waukesha, or maybe just chill.) ALL OF THE HOSTAGES SURVIVED AND WERE FREED.
(Opindia) Supposedly he’d demanded release of ‘Lady Al Qaeda’ Aafia Siddiqui: Earlier, Akram was heard asking to speak to her "sister", which led to FALSE speculations he could be Muhammad Siddiqui, Aafia's brother, refuted by her brother and his lawyer.
(PM News Nigeria) Faisal’s brother, Gulbar, issued a statement on the Facebook platform of Blackburn Muslim Community on Sunday, detailing his involvement in the negotiation that led to the release of the four stages. He said the hostages were not rescued as the FBI claimed, but were voluntarily released by Faisal. [ONE GUY SAYS THEY ESCAPED, AFTER HE THREW A CHAIR AT THE MUSLIM!]
QUOTE: “Don’t believe the bull#### in the media. They were released from the fire exit and Not rescued. A few minutes later a firefight has taken place and he was shot and killed. ILWIAR. There was nothing we could have said to him or done that would have convinced him to surrender. …
“Finally to all the people that have been bombarding us with non stop calls and texts please for the love of Allah STOP please STOP show some restraint and respect at such a difficult time for our family especially after losing our younger sibling barely 3 months ago. …
"There are many stories circulating in the local community so please avoid taking part in the sin of backbiting.”
[They deleted a post under the controversy.]
(Wikipedia - Colleyville synagogue hostage crisis) During negotiations, Akram said that he had six children.[8] A brother of Akram said he had mental health issues,[19] and that three months prior to the incident, a younger sibling had died.[8]
NOT READ: After the incident, President Sleepy Joe Biden suggested that Akram may have purchased the gun he used in the incident "on the street" while in the U.S.,[21] but he cautioned that he did not know all of the facts.[8] WHAT A LOSER, KEEP ATTACKING THE SECOND AMENDMENT, SCUMBAG! NOT READ: (Reuters) Rabbi threw chair at Texas synagogue hostage-taker before escaping
It is not clear whether the gunman took his own life or was killed by members of an FBI hostage rescue team.
Unsurprisingly, this is a pro-LGBTQ rabbi. (Heavy)
He wanted him to call a rabbi in NY
I guess about the “Lady al Qaeda: The World’s Most Wanted Woman” per Foreign Policy.
The suspect, identified by the FBI as a British citizen, knocked on the synagogue's door during Sabbath prayers and was invited in and offered tea, Rabbi Charlie Cytron Walker, who was among those taken captive, told CBS.
Walker then returned to prayer, after which he said he "heard a click - and it could have been anything - but it turned out it was his gun."
One hostage was released unharmed after six hours of tense negotiations conducted with help from the family of the suspect, 44-year-old Malik Faisal Akram.
Still held captive with two others, Walker said he drew on hostage training from the FBI when determining if and when to try to escape.
"When I saw an opportunity where he wasn't in a good position, I made sure that the two gentlemen who were still with me, that they were ready to go, (and that) the exit wasn't too far away," Walker said.
"I told them to go. I threw a chair at the gunman, and I headed for the door, and all three of us were able to get out without even a shot being fired."
The FBI's hostage rescue team then raided the synagogue, leading to Akram's death.
NOT READ: NO MORE TUSKEGEE AIRMEN
(CNN) One of the last surviving Tuskegee Airmen, Brigadier General Charles McGee, has died at 102. The Tuskegee Airmen were the first [b]lack military aviators in the US service corps. McGee was a decorated American fighter pilot — 409 air combat missions across World War II, Korea, and Vietnam — 30 years of active service. WHOA. RIP.
