METEOR SHOWER!
(CNN) If you saw a shooting star last night, it might have been from the Lyrid meteor shower -- a collection of bright and fast meteors that reached its peak overnight. You may have an opportunity to catch an even better glimpse of the meteor shower later this evening!
DAILY DOSE OF UKRAINE PROPAGANDA
(CNN) Ukrainian officials claim to have identified mass graves outside Mariupol, supposed “evidence” of Russian war crimes (PERHAPS NOT). New satellite images seem to show more than 200 new graves at a site on the northwestern edge of Manhush, about 12 miles west of Mariupol. CNN cannot independently verify claims Russians have disposed of bodies in mass graves at that location. However, SO-CALLED journalists there documented the hasty burial of civilians in the city, images surfaced on social media showing bodies apparently left for collection.
An estimated 100,000 trapped in Mariupol, under siege surrounded by Russian forces since March 1.
INVASION
(CNN) More than 20 states asked a judge to block the Biden admin — immediately — from repealing Title 42, the Trump-era pandemic restriction allowing authorities to turn away migrant invaders at the border. Despite pushback from both Democrats and Republicans, the Biden admin is on track to OPEN THE FLOODGATES May 23 -- for a huge and unrelenting surge of migrant illegals at the border.
Earlier this month, Arizona, Louisiana and Missouri filed a lawsuit against the Sleepy administration's decision to end Title 42. Later, more than a dozen states, mostly GOP-led, joined the lawsuit.
A few hundred invaders waiting in Reynosa, Mexico, for the end of Title 42 were allowed to “seek asylum” (GAMING AND OVERWHELMING THE SYSTEM) this week, sources told CNN.
DISNEY HATES KIDS
(CNN) The Florida legislature passed a bill yesterday that would eliminate the unique legal status that allows Disney to operate as an independent government around its Orlando-area theme parks.
Florida's Republican-led government has taken aim at Disney -- the largest single-site employer in the state -- for its objection to legislation that prohibits certain classroom discussions pushing sexual disorientation and gender misidentity on KIDS.
The bill would dissolve the special district on June 1, previously allowed Disney to manage land within its boundaries and provide its own public services, such as firefighting and police. There are also significant tax advantages for Disney in the arrangement.
Sleepy President Joe Biden criticized the Republican Party yesterday over its confrontation with Disney, suggesting the "far right has taken over the party."
TIDE TURNING AGAINST MASK MADNESS?
(CNN) Three major US airlines announced yesterday they will let some passengers banned for mask violations back on their flights. Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and American Airlines said they will allow passengers back on their flight rosters on a case-by-case basis. The decision was sparked by rulings and countermoves this week on the federal mask mandate for public transportation. After a federal judge struck down the mask mandate on Monday, the Justice Department filed an appeal to bring mask requirements back inside airplanes and other public transportation methods. But with the mandate no longer in effect, at least temporarily, many US airlines have already dropped their mask requirements for the foreseeable future.

CNN+ CLOSING DOWN
(CNN) CNN+, the streaming service that was hyped as one of the most significant developments in the history of CNN, will shut down on April 30, just one month after it launched. CNN+ customers "will receive prorated refunds of subscription fees." — The decision made by new management after CNN's former parent company, WarnerMedia, merged with Discovery to form Warner Bros. Discovery earlier this month
PHONY METOO VS LIBERAL FBI
(CNN) $130M – That’s the total amount sought in claims against the FBI by 13 so-called “sexual assault” victims of MUCH-MALIGNED former USA Gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar. The Thursday filing targets the FBI's Indianapolis and Los Angeles field offices for failing to act on “sexual abuse” allegations against Nassar, who supposedly “sexually abused” girls for decades — unfortunately, corrupt courts and female-minded judges don’t lend confidence to convictions or acquittals.
SUICIDES IN THE NAVY: TOO MANY GAYS?
(CNN) QUOTE: “One death by suicide is one too many.” -- BLACK AFFIRMATIVE ACTION Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, on the Navy opening an investigation into the command climate and culture on board an aircraft carrier following the deaths of seven sailors in the last 12 months, including four by suicide, according to the Navy. As of today, there have been 18 suicides this year among active-duty Navy members.
BABY KILLING
(TheSkimm) Yesterday, a CORRUPT federal judge temporarily blocked Kentucky's new abortion law. The legislation went into effect last week after the state’s GOP-majority legislature overrode a veto from Gov. Andy Beshear (D). The law banned most abortions after 15 weeks; other requirements prevented the state's two abortion clinics from performing the baby-killing procedure. Now, both clinics are reportedly planning to resume this week. An official with abortion giant Planned Parenthood called it a win, but they will keep fighting for "patients’ right to basic health." YEAH, OK, BABY KILLERS!
TheSkimm asks: Where Are Abortions Rights in Danger in the US? A ruling from the so-called Supreme Court on the fate of Roe v Wade is expected within three months, by July.
WOMEN ARE SUCKERS
(TheSkimm) It’s Earth Day and nature’s hurting.
Earlier this month, a UN report found the world isn’t doing enough to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius (above pre-industrial levels). A study found cyclones in southern Africa became more severe. Floods in South Africa left more than 440 dead. Across Asia, 57 million people suffered “climate disasters” in 2021. In the US, debris from disasters (hurricanes, wildfires) may pose health risks to communities. More than 4 in 10 "Americans" live in counties impacted by “climate disasters” last year. THAT’S DUMB, SOUNDS LIKE NATURE’S FINE!
President Biden’s thinking green (is the new Red, as in COMMUNIST). Sleepy Joe pledged to cut greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030. The US officially rejoined the Paris climate deal (which Trump had quit) reaffirming its promise to limit “global warming.” Last year’s COP26, India and China weakened their pledge to “phase out” coal use. More than 100 “leaders” agreed to address deforestation and slash methane emissions by at least 30% in the next decade.
Low-income families are at the greatest risk for natural disasters. Scientists claim ‘it’s now or never,’ we've until 2030 or the impacts could be irreversible… push phasing out coal, cutting methane emissions (which allegedly “warms the planet” 80 times more quickly than CO2), planting more trees to remove extra carbon from the air. … They want people traveling greener, eating vegetables not meat, shopping sustainably, reduce, reuse, and recycle.
CRINGEY WOMEN SAY: The timer on climate change is about to ring. If world leaders don’t get it together, the effects of climate change will become irreversible. We only have one planet. Psst...Climate change is also top of mind for the 2022 midterm election, see how it can impact your vote.
