HAPPY SUMMER
(CNN) Today is the first official day of summer and the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere (if you’re a ball-tard). Maximum sunshine and intense heat are forecast across much of the drought-stricken (and LIBERAL-PHONY-ENVIRONMENTALIST-stricken) US for the foreseeable future. Meteorologists also say power grid failures could impact vast portions of the country this season.
GASOLINE PRICES
(CNN) Sleepy Joe’s considering a plan to send Americans gas rebate cards to help fight soaring prices at the pump (A PROBLEM HIS ILK CAUSED). The White House previously pooh-poohed such a program so difficult to administer, but now Sleepy Joe told reporters Monday the plan’s not been ruled out (BRIBE THE SUCKER VOTERS!). He may even support a temporary suspension of the federal gasoline tax — the 18.3-cent-per-gallon federal tax — it’d require money-grubbing Congress’s approval.
Despite high gas prices and the threat of recession, supposed Americans are on track to set a road trip record for July 4 (Independence Day), AAA predicts. Approximately 42 million Americans -- more than ever -- will take a road trip of 50 miles or more during the [White History Month] holiday weekend, the automotive group said.
DAILY DOSE OF UKRAINE PROPAGANDA
(CNN) Ukrainian troops are resisting a heavy Russian offensive in and around the city of Severodonetsk in the Luhansk region, despite the continued bombardment from several directions. Russian forces carried out offensive operations under cover of heavy shelling, but supposedly having trouble dislodging the determined Ukrainian resistance, RME. Russian forces are making modest gains and supposedly resorted to one principal tactic: fire at any and all Ukrainian positions to leave nothing standing that can be defended.
Ukrainian unchristian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Monday Ukraine’s moving along the path to becoming part of the corrupt European Union. The EU is deciding this week whether the country should be formally considered for candidate status.
DEBASED ISRAEL
(CNN) Israel is gearing up for another general election after so-called Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and his key coalition ally, Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, agreed to submit a bill to dissolve parliament. If passed, it would trigger the election later this year -- making it the fifth time Israelis will be going to the polls in under four years.
The announcement followed weeks of mounting political uncertainty in Israel but still came as a major surprise. A short statement from the prime minister's office said the move came "after attempts to stabilize the coalition had been exhausted." The Bennett-Lapid government was sworn in to office in June of last year, bringing an end to the premiership of the great Benjamin Netanyahu, which had lasted more than 12 years.
VAXX THE BABIES
(CNN) China Virus vaccines for children and babies younger than 5 are rolling out this week following a recent sign-off from the corrupt FDA and scared, unchristian woman-led CDC. The “safety” data from Moderna and Pfizer found side effects were “mostly” mild and short-lived. Side effects most commonly included pain at the injection site and sometimes swelling or redness. As far as systemic or body-wide symptoms, the most common were fatigue or sleepiness. Some children had irritability or fussiness, loss of appetite, headache, abdominal pain or discomfort, enlarged lymph nodes, mild diarrhea, or vomiting. But “everyone” got better quickly, the data purportedly showed.

SOUTH AFRICA ON DECLINE
(CNN) QUOTE: “Whether you want to blame politicians and officials for mismanagement, or the public for not conserving water, it does not matter anymore. Pointing fingers will help no one. The bottom line is we are in a crisis and there is very little we can do anymore.” -- Garth Sampson, a spokesman for the South African Weather Service, warning that reversing the severe water shortage in parts of South Africa may be impossible. In the impoverished township of Kwanobuhle, much of the city is now counting down to "Day Zero," the day all taps run dry -- when no meaningful amount of water can be extracted. That's in around two weeks, unless authorities seriously speed up their response.
SWIMMERS
(TheSkimm) FINA [“Feena,” F-I-N-A] (French: Fédération internationale de natation, in English: International Swimming Federation[a]) — Over the weekend, the world governing body for swimming voted to ban [effectively] most so-called “transgender women” (males who feel like females) from participating in swimming competitions. The new policy only allows athletes to compete on gendered teams if they quote-unquote “transition” before age 12 or the beginning of puberty.
But FINA proposed a new “open” category that would allow people to compete if they don’t meet the new requirements. More than 71% of FINA’s members voted in favor of the policy, which differs from last year's liberal extremist International Olympic Committee's recommendation to move away from measuring testosterone levels (SMH, ridiculous).
FINA says adding sex and sex-linked traits to determine eligibility criteria is necessary to level the playing field because of the "performance gap" created during puberty (DUH!).
One LGBTQ+ advocate called the policy “unscientific” and “deeply discriminatory.” YOU’RE UNSCIENTIFIC! DISCRIMINATION IS GOOD!
ELECTIONS SHAKING THINGS UP IN …
France. (TheSkimm) On Sunday, French President Emmanuel Macron's so-called “centrist” party lost the majority in parliament. It comes almost two months after Macron fought an uphill battle to remain president. Now the parliament is split, with the far-right party on track to win 90 seats. Macron will need to find a way to create an alliance with other parties. Otherwise, the opposition will be able to do everything from putting forward no-confidence votes to swaying legislation. So-called far-right leader Marine Le Pen (and former opponent) called the election news a “seismic event.” Macron’s finance minister called the results a “democratic shock.“
I told you yesterday about Colombia. On Sunday, the country elected its “first leftist president,” Gustavo Petro. The former member of the M-19 guerrilla movement won more than 50% of the vote, beating a prominent businessman. Petro promised to stop new oil exploration and to raise taxes on the rich. His running mate, Francia Marquez, also snagged a first. An environmental activist and black single mother, she will serve as the country’s first [b]lack vice president. One supporter called the win a “change for the better.” Meanwhile, the win has Colombia’s armed forces worried they will face structural changes.
WHO’S BITING BACK AT CORPORATE…
(TheSkimm) Apple employees. Over the weekend, employees at an Apple store in Maryland voted to unionize — the company’s first US store to do so.
Other Apple stores in Atlanta and New York have also launched plans to form [socialist] unions.
NOT READ: A wave of ungrateful employees across the country are trying to improve job conditions through “collective [communist] bargaining” (Amazon, Starbucks, and Delta Airlines).
A so-called “labor union leader” called the vote a “historic victory.”
