A mother’s love is so special: black stars like R. Kelly. Jasmine from TX… other great calls and discussion on Palestine victimhood…
JLP Hr 1 Mother’s love is hate. Anyone who has anger you’re a murderer. Marlon Wayans never tied the knot, because mama’s his first love. R. Kelly loved his mother in the weirdest ways. Without love of the father, something is missing. Jesse sings “La Bamba” … “mama is dead” // Jasmine in TX back from yesterday, holds over… She’d said she doesn’t like when guys look at her sexually //
JLP Hr 2 Jasmine in TX continues from first hour and yesterday end of show — great call, her mother, her father, stalkers, etc.

Don’t let the kids see ISIS or Hamas videos!
(CNN Thu. 10/12/23) Lame-os urge parents to delete or disable (temporarily) their children’s social media apps to prevent them from seeing disturbing videos emerging from the Israel-Hamas war. The recommendation comes in advance of the horrifying possibility that Hamas terrorists MIGHT post execution videos of hostages on social media to garner international attention.
Meanwhile in Israel
(CNN Thu. 10/12/23) Israel is “conducting a large-scale strike” on Hamas targets in Gaza, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said today, as the conflict entered a sixth day. Officials in the region say Israel has amassed 300,000 reservists near the Gaza border for a huge mobilization of troops — roughly the combined number of reservists across the US military, for comparison.
(Speaking of the U.S., Pentagon officials are concerned over the potential need to stretch its increasingly scarce ammunition stockpiles to support Ukraine and Israel in two separate wars.)
Hamas militants are holding as many as 150 hostages in Gaza.
What’s a "Unity Gov't" in Israel?
(theSkimm Thu. 10/12/23) After much back and forth in the Israeli government (five elections in four years), Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took his seat back in late 2022 and formed the country’s most “right-wing” administration in history (YEAH RIGHT). Disagreements over judicial reform etc left the gov and country divided. Netanyahu’s phony corruption trial didn’t help.
But with the Hamas attacks killing at least 1,200 — Israel announced an emergency unity government and war cabinet. Netanyahu and opposition leader (former Defense Minister) Benny Gantz agreed to a united front, to “wipe this thing called Hamas off the face of the Earth.” Netanyahu promised to work with Gantz “shoulder to shoulder.”
Today, US joke of a Secretary of State Antony Blinken (NOT A CHRISTIAN), expected to land in Israel. He’ll meet with Netanyahu and others to discuss creating safe passage for Palestinian civilians out of Gaza — where more than 1,000 have been killed, and Israel cut off access to water, food, fuel, and electricity. Blinken’s reportedly set to meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas tomorrow, Friday.
ADL going after commie capitalist corporations
(CNN Thu. 10/12/23) QUOTE: “History will judge them.” — Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt, slamming Corporate America’s lackluster response to the terror attacks on Israel. The ADL leader quoted Martin Luther King, Jr as he pleaded for more companies to speak out against the violence: “In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.”
Unchristian Economy
(CNN Thu. 10/12/23) The war between Israel and Hamas is unlikely to have a significant impact on the global economy, US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said Wednesday. “While we are monitoring potential economic impacts from the crisis [in Israel], I’m not really thinking of that as a major driver of the global economic outlook,” she told delegates at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank. Stock markets around the world have largely brushed off the conflict, with Wall Street posting gains Tuesday partly boosted by a fall in oil prices.
NOT READ: IMF chief economist Pierre-Olivier Gourinchas said it is still too early to assess how the war could affect economic growth in the region and the rest of the world. But for now, the IMF sees better odds that central banks will manage to tame inflation without tipping the global economy into recession.

Former NFL player arrested
(theSkimm Thu. 10/12/23) Who was arrested? Sergio Brown (he black, with wild dreadlocks / braids / whatever). Yesterday, the former NFL player was arrested for killing his 73-year-old mother. Brown went missing for about a month after authorities found his mother’s body near her home in September. Authorities had a warrant for his arrest for murder and found him entering the US through the Mexico border. He will be extradited to Illinois where he faces first-degree murder charges.
The next Speaker-in-name-only?
(CNN Thu. 10/12/23) House Republicans picked Rep. Steve Scalise as their nominee for speaker on Wednesday — but the Louisiana Republican is still scrambling to find the votes needed to win the gavel. If all current members are present and voting on the floor, Scalise would need 217 votes to win the speakership and can only afford to lose four Republican votes. However, several lawmakers are looking to throw a wrench into the current majority leader’s speaker plans, saying they will instead vote for Rep. Jim Jordan, who ran against Scalise for the nomination and lost. The floor vote for the next House speaker could occur as soon as today, but it remains to be seen whether Scalise was able to wrangle enough support from within his conference overnight.
(theSkimm Thu. 10/12/23) Scalise survived a liberal gunshot wound at a 2017 baseball game and is undergoing chemotherapy. … With at least ten Republicans standing firm against Scalise, he could be on track for a repeat of January: a series of House votes before there’s an elected speaker. There’s another looming government funding deadline and war in Israel and Gaza (which should have nothing to do with Congress, IMO).
Student loan leeches
(CNN Thu. 10/12/23) 43 million so-called Americans have federal student loans, collectively amounting to $1.6 trillion of debt, according to the National Student Loan Data System. Now that payments have resumed following a pandemic-related pause, some Americans tell CNN that they are trimming their budgets, taking fewer trips and cutting back on discretionary purchases to pay their student loan bills.
Chipotle is raising prices again
(CNN Thu. 10/12/23) The burrito chain is confident it can beef up profits with more expensive menu options. And so far, the increased prices haven’t scared people off.
Commie capitalist Govt squeezing and scapegoating businesses
(CNN or theSkimm Thu. 10/12/23) President Joe Biden on Wednesday unveiled new efforts to crack down on junk fees — the hidden or misleading fees that “companies sneak into your bill to make you pay more,” Biden said. The Federal Trade Commission specifically unveiled a proposed rule that would ban the fees across multiple industries and require companies to show full prices upfront, preventing event ticketing companies, hotels and lodging companies, apartment and car rental agencies, and more from levying surprise or unexpected service charges.
NOT READ: The Biden administration also announced $2 billion in savings and $140 million in consumer refunds from previous crackdowns on junk fees.
