Israel-Palestine war: Daily pauses to save the babies!
(CNN or theSkimm Fri. 11/10/23) Israeli forces have intensified their ground and air campaign on Gaza in recent days, with officials claiming to have reached “the heart” of the besieged enclave’s main city. This comes as Israel has agreed to daily pauses of military operations in parts of northern Gaza, the White House said, allowing people to travel for aid and relief. On Thursday alone, around 80,000 people fled northern Gaza through an evacuation corridor, an Israeli official said, compared with 50,000 people Wednesday. While CNN cannot independently verify the figures, images on the ground show streams of people — men, women, children, the elderly and disabled — traveling miles on foot through the battered region.
theSkimm Fri. 11/10/23: Yesterday, Israel agreed to implement daily, four-hour pauses in fighting in selected areas of northern Gaza, according to the White House. Each pause will be announced at least three hours in advance and will give civilians more time to evacuate.
Joe Manchin, the only pro-life Democrat, out
(CNN or theSkimm Fri. 11/10/23) Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia will not run for reelection in 2024, potentially threatening Democrats’ chances to hold control of the Senate. The moderate Democrat made the announcement on social media Thursday, calling it “one of the toughest decisions” of his life. The Democratic Caucus controls the chamber with a narrow 51-49 margin, and Manchin’s decision not to run again in such a deeply red state puts Democrats in a tough spot, as they’ll be defending seats in other competitive states. Manchin has not specifically said what he plans to do after leaving Capitol Hill, although he has stoked speculation of a third-party presidential bid.
theSkimm Fri. 11/10/23: Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) will not run for reelection and will instead be “traveling the country” to gauge interest in an effort to “mobilize the middle.” The move is expected to make it even tougher for Dems to hold onto their Senate majority in 2024.
Forced Vaxx exceptions
(CNN or theSkimm Fri. 11/10/23) The number of exemptions for required vaccines for kindergartners has reached a record high. New CDC data shows around 250,000 kindergartners are at risk for measles infection as a result of declining the MMR vaccine, which targets measles, mumps, and rubella. About 4% of kindergartners nationwide were not fully vaccinated with MMR or formally exempt from getting it but were allowed to attend school during a grace period. All states have laws requiring specific vaccines for students and all school immunization laws grant exemptions to children for specific medical reasons. But 44 states and Washington, DC, also grant religious exemptions, and 15 states allow philosophical or moral exemptions for children. Non-medical exemptions accounted for more than 90% of reported exemptions, the CDC said.

(theSkimm Fri. 11/10/23)
Surgeons at NYU Langone Health announced they’d performed the world’s first-ever transplant of an entire human eye, in addition to a partial face transplant. While it’s too soon to tell if the patient will regain sight, the surgery is being hailed as “a huge step forward.”
The pioneering, punchy feminist website Jezebel shut down yesterday, after parent company G/O Media failed to sell it.
Also coming to a close? Controversial video chat site Omegle (after 14 years — The website recently settled a lawsuit that alleged it connected a then-11-year-old girl with a sexual abuser, per NBC…).
Founder Leif K-Brooks announced the closure Wednesday in a lengthy statement posted to the website that touched on what he saw as positives about the platform and the future of the internet. He wrote that Omegle had been used “to explore foreign cultures; to get advice about their lives from impartial third parties; and to help alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.” // But he also noted the platform’s struggles with child predators.

Nashville’s Diversity-Obsessed Black Police Chief Hid Trans Shooter’s Anti-White Manifesto
(Revolver.News, Nov 9, 2023) So-called FTM “trans” mass murderer Audrey “Aiden” Hale (taken down by heroic white officers), left behind a manifesto before killing six at a Nashville Christian school back in April. She was supposedly white, Crowder exposed she railed against privileged “c-word-rackers.”
Officials even claimed the manifesto didn’t express any specific political or social agenda. Black chief of police, John Drake, has expressed extreme frustration over the leak (Some speculate that unchristian AG (DOJ head) Merrick Garland [Obama’s failed supreme court pick] pressured to suppress the manifesto). For three years since taking the political position, black police chief John Drake sought to crack down on “overpolicing” and make the force more “diverse” (creating a “chief diversity officer” — When he took over, MNPD was 82 percent white; now only 62% white) …
Black police chief John Drake was recently in the news after his son, John Drake Jr., shot two officers during a crime spree in the area (a career criminal who met his end last month during a car chase with the police). “Despite my efforts and guidance in the early and teenage years, my son, John Drake Jr., now 38 years old, resorted to years of criminal activity and is a convicted felon,” the chief said during the manhunt.
Now Jr.’s dead (FOXNashville, apparently of a self-inflicted gunshot wound… allegedly carjacked a woman, and led police on a chase, before officers found him dead.)! SMH…
In October the far-left extremist off-the-deep-end Associated Press did an article headlined, “Nashville police chief has spent a career mentoring youths but couldn’t keep his son from trouble”
X account National Conservative tweeted a Black History Month video of John Drake, Sr., saying: "I am John Drake, Metro Nashville Police Chief, and I am MNPS (Metro Nashville Public Schools) Black excellence!"
Drake was appointed in Nov, 2020, chosen because of his skin color (AND NO DOUBT HIS LIBERAL MAMA EVIL SPIRIT) specifically to appease BLM militants. Drake told the Nashville Scene in 2021 that he openly supported Black Lives Matter. Since 2021, violent crime has risen by nearly five percent in the Tennessee city.
RIP moon-orbiting astronaut!
(CNN or theSkimm Fri. 11/10/23) Frank Borman, the Apollo astronaut who commanded the first mission to orbit the moon in 1968, has died. He was 95. “Today we remember one of NASA’ best,” the space agency said in a statement. “Astronaut Frank Borman was a true American hero.” AND SPACE IS REAL AND AWESOME, CREATED BY GOD, EAT YOUR HEART OUT, BRAINLESS SPACE DENIERS
NOT READ: Minnesota got a Somali female mayor
(CNN not theSkimm Fri. 11/10/23) QUOTE: “It’s been like a moment of a lifetime.” (HUH?) — Nadia Mohamed, sharing a joyous speech after she was elected Mayor of St. Louis Park, Minnesota (Minneapolis suburb, southwest of it) this week. The victory makes her the first Somali American to win a general election to quote-unquote “lead” an American city.
NOT READ: Suspicious letters
(CNN not theSkimm Fri. 11/10/23) Federal law enforcement officials are investigating reports of suspicious letters sent to public officials, a Justice Department spokesperson said Thursday. Public officials in California, Georgia, Nevada, Oregon, Texas and Washington state have reported receiving suspicious mail, with some suspected to contain fentanyl. Most of the letters appear to have targeted election offices. So far, more than a dozen letters have been reported and investigators are treating all of them as connected for now, officials said. The reports come against a backdrop of a tense political climate where election officials frequently face threats, harassment and disruptions around voting.
NOT READ: US population
(CNN not theSkimm Fri. 11/10/23) The US population is projected to peak in 2080, at nearly 370 million, then start declining, according to the US Census Bureau. Experts say this is the first time Census projections have indicated the population will decrease, mainly due to aging and a falling birth rate.
