Dion in CA (1st) dealing with wife. Forgave mother, she blew up!  //  Matt in NC (1st) speaks on the judge who was attacked by the black guy who jumped the bench/desk.  //

Nick in NY (1st) new listener, he asks about blacks accepting JLP’s message, then talks about having used to drink hard. He’s born again: What does that mean? He talks to God his Father, got saved in 2012, was so on fire. His son was on drugs at a young age. He got rid of records and asked God for help. His wife’s Jewish. He’s Sicilian. His mother died in her sleep. Have you forgiven your mother? He disagrees about anger. He asks if Jesse has a testimony, he believes every born again Christian has a testimony, so he thinks maybe Jesse’s not a born again Christian. How can you have anger before and after being born again?  //

Ryan in WA (1st) his bro 5 yrs older in 40s far-right conservative showed him Jesse. Ryan lives w/ gf, she doesn’t obey him always. She has a kid; he already has kids with a woman with mental disability from his 20s. In 20 years he hasn’t been with a woman who doesn’t have kids! (Jesse wants him to hold over but he hangs up over break, apparently!)

JLP Hr 3  Calls: Ego wife like her mama.

Asia in NY (1st) asks about ego, b/c her husband never compliments her on being pretty. (He made her stop wearing wigs, eyelashes, etc.) She works hard to look nice. Do you believe you’re your ego. No but I’m struggling with it. She’ll argue with him about it. Since he doesn’t compliment her, she wants to disobey him. In my mind I’ve forgiven my mother, but we don’t speak. Her mother screens her calls. JLP: You are just like your mother. Mm-mm! No, she’s evil! … Asia’s a mother too now. She doesn’t know her father, is trying to find him. Mother says she was SA’d (sexually assaulted), and that’s how she came. …

HAKE NEWS, Hr 1 | Fri 1-12-24

  • US and “allies” strike Houthis in Yemen  //  South Africa accused Israel of “genocide” in UN court  //

Leave the Houthis alone!

(CNN or theSkimm Fri 1-12-24) US forces launched strikes against Houthi militants in Yemen.

Yesterday, the US and “several allies,” including the UK (and the Netherlands lol), struck more than a dozen Houthi targets using missiles, fighter jets, and submarines, killing five and injuring six. The strikes — the first from the US against the Houthis in Yemen since 2016 — are in response to the Iranian-backed group’s repeated attacks against commercial shipping in the Red Sea. Since November, the Houthis have carried out more than two dozen drone and missile attacks — the largest one yet happened earlier this week. The Houthis have defied repeated warnings to stop, saying the attacks are in support of Hamas (really?). Now, President Biden says yesterday’s strikes send “a clear message that the United States and our partners will not tolerate attacks on our personnel.”

Biden said he “will not hesitate to direct further measures to protect our people and the free flow of international commerce as necessary.” House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said the strikes were “overdue.” But some Democrat lawmakers said Biden violated the Constitution by not having Congress authorize the military action. Meanwhile, the Houthi deputy foreign minister warned that the US and UK would “pay a heavy price” for the “blatant aggression.” The strikes likely heighten tensions in the Middle East, where there’ve been growing concerns that the Israel-Hamas war could turn into a wider conflict with Iran’s proxies (incl. Hezbollah in Lebanon). Saudi Arabia called on the US and UK to show restraint.

… the Israel-Hamas war has no end in sight, many fearing an escalating conflict.

GeNoCiDe trial

(CNN or theSkimm Fri 1-12-24) Yesterday, anti-white South Africa of all countries presented its case to the International Court of Justice, accusing Israel of committing genocide (THAT’S RICH) in Gaza. The 1948 Genocide Convention defines the crime as an “intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group.”

South Africa … Lawyers pointed to Israel’s use of “dumb” bombs, the restriction of food and water, and a mounting death toll in Gaza. More than 23,000 Palestinians have been killed, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. At least 70% of homes have been damaged or destroyed. The UN has said up to 1.9 million out of Gaza’s 2.3 million residents have been displaced. South Africa said “Palestinians have experienced systematic oppression and violence for the last 76 years,” preceding the war.

Israel … Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the case had a hypocrisy that “screams to the heavens," describing it as “an upside-down world” in which it is “accused of genocide while it is fighting genocide.” Israel says its war targets Hamas, the group that killed more than 1,200 people on October 7th — the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust — and kidnapped about 240 others, according to Israeli figures. Israel acknowledges the high civilian death toll, as it accuses Hamas of embedding itself in residential areas. It has previously said the group uses civilians as human shields.

The hearings continue today, with Israel presenting its case. The ICJ has never convicted a country on grounds of genocide, and the case could last years. But the ICJ’s 17-panel court could rule within weeks on provisional measures to call on Israel to stop military actions in Gaza. A trial has the potential to advance global calls for a cease-fire and impact Israel’s global reputation.

HAKE NEWS, Hr 2 | Fri 1-12-24

  • Bird flu: Egg prices rising  //  winter storm!  //  Persecution of the president: Judge hushes him!  //  US lost a billion in military equipment in Ukraine?  //  FAA talks tough but they’re part of affirmative action culture  //  Google laying off staff!  //

Bird Flu going around. Egg prices up!

(CNN or theSkimm Fri 1-12-24) Eggs are getting more expensive at grocery stores as bird flu has once again struck the industry. Fortunately, this latest avian flu outbreak won’t be as severe as the one in 2022 that devastated flocks and caused widespread shortages, economists say.

Winter Storm!

(CNN or theSkimm Fri 1-12-24) Parts of the central and eastern US are bracing for another powerful storm that mirrors the path and hazards of the previous one that slammed the country earlier this week. About 35 million people — stretching from North Carolina to eastern Massachusetts — are under flood watches today while more than 5 million across the South are under tornado watches. Thousands of people are still without power in the eastern US, rivers are rising and forcing evacuations, and at least four people are dead from severe thunderstorms and wind as the first storm ended Wednesday. Meanwhile, Iowans headed to the first presidential primary for the 2024 election on Monday are preparing to brave what looks likely to be the coldest caucus in state history. Some analysts say the frigid conditions could potentially impact voter turnout.

Persecution of the President

(CNN & theSkimm Fri 1-12-24) Speaking up! Former President Trump. Yesterday, the judge presiding over his New York civil fraud trial let him speak during closing arguments after all. The judge had rejected Trump’s request to let him talk because 45’s lawyers couldn’t guarantee he wouldn’t go off-topic (LOL, LOVE IT). Speaking for about five minutes, Trump called himself an “innocent man” and that he should be paid for what he’s “gone through.” (said the “financial statements are perfect” and called the case a “witch hunt.”)

Trump hurled some insults at New York AG Letitia James (D) who accused Trump of fraudulently inflating his net worth. He said James “hates” him and “doesn’t want him to get elected.” The judge warned Trump’s lawyer to “control” him after he called the case a “persecution.”

The so-called judge has previously ruled that Trump committed so-called fraud (that he’s liable for it anyway, very low burden of proof, ridiculous honestly). He’s expected to decide in the coming weeks whether Trump will have to pay a $370 million fine and be barred from ever doing business again in New York.

US lost a billion in Ukraine?

(CNN or theSkimm Fri 1-12-24) An estimated $1 billion in US military equipment that was sent to Ukraine but was improperly tracked, a report from the Pentagon Inspector General revealed Thursday. The inventory discrepancy comes at a critical moment for Ukraine as Congress debates whether to authorize a supplemental package of more than $60 billion in aid amid significant Republican opposition.

FAA talking tough after participating in affirmative action culture

(CNN or theSkimm Fri 1-12-24) QUOTE: “This incident should have never happened and it cannot happen again.” — The Federal Aviation Administration, announcing Thursday that the agency is opening an investigation into Boeing’s quality control after a door plug flew off a nearly new Boeing 737 Max 9 aircraft last week.

Google is laying off staff

(CNN or theSkimm Fri 1-12-24) Google is starting the year off with sweeping layoffs across divisions. The layoffs include hundreds of employees who work on some of the company’s most recognizable products.
