Women… Numbers game?

Hake Chat: “Relationship advice from one without a relationship (truth is truth “irregardless” of experience)

Wedding as a kid. Teacher friend said don’t marry the first person you date. Why not?

Caller last week (Of Air N' Sea) said (and I didn’t catch it) that you should date as many people as possible to find one who’s right. Doesn’t sound right. Where he get this idea? God? Satan? Ego? Intellect? Logic?? Is it logical?? (He seems to have his life revolve around women. He thinks a 60yo single man took an L, but he could have as easily dodged a bullet or several. Paul in the Bible said you’re better off alone. Either way OK, God remains God.)

I’m not saying the player way is wrong, nor the “conservative” way is right. But the HS sweetheart thing, does it work better? Some of the best marriages I know of are from the first gf for the dude, and like the first or second for the gal. So I’m suspecting, based on limited exposure, that the latter is right.
