(Drudge) PEW: 109 counties have become majority nonwhite since 2000… USA quickly becoming more diverse, in certain places… (The Philadelphia Enquirer via MSN). (Pew Research) In the United States, the white share of the population is declining as Hispanic, Asian and black populations grow. From 2000 to 2018, 109 counties in 22 states, from California to Kansas to North Carolina, went from majority white to majority nonwhite – that is, counties where non-Hispanic whites are no longer the majority, according to a Pew Research Center analysis of Census Bureau data. Overall, 293 U.S. counties were majority nonwhite in 2018. Most of these counties are concentrated in California, the South and on the East Coast, with few in the country’s middle section. In addition, several majority white counties with large populations may flip in coming years. Fairfax County, Virginia (total of 1.2 million), Pima County, Arizona (1 million), Milwaukee County, Wisconsin (948,000) and Cobb County, Georgia (757,000) all had populations that were less than 52% white.
In 21 of the 25 biggest U.S. counties by population, nonwhite groups together make up more than half of residents. Eight of these counties were majority white in 2000 but are no longer: San Diego, Orange County, Riverside and Sacramento Counties (all in California), plus Clark (Nevada), Broward (Florida), Tarrant (Texas) and Wayne County (Michigan). Hispanics were the largest nonwhite population in all of these eight counties except Wayne – which contains Detroit – where the black population was the largest nonwhite group. (In Broward County, Hispanic and black residents made up similar shares of the population at 30% and 28%, respectively.) Non-Hispanic whites are now just 60% of all Americans. The four largest U.S. counties that had majority white populations in 2018 were Maricopa (Arizona), King (Washington), Middlesex (Massachusetts) and Palm Beach (Florida).
Among the 109 counties that between 2000 and 2018 shifted from majority white to majority nonwhite, 26 were at least 60% white in 2000. Counties in Georgia stand out for having five of the 10 biggest percentage point swings in their white population share. (These 10 counties also had the largest percentage point drop among all U.S. counties on this measure.) The number of multiracial Americans is rising, about half of U.S. Hispanic adults identified their race as white.
(Drudge) Judge rules against JOHNSON & JOHNSON in landmark opioid case… Ordered to pay $572 million for role in crisis… (Side note: I recall Johnson & Johnson alienated white people, men, or Christians at one point; I think it was men, with a nasty filthy ad.) On Monday in Norman, OK, a judge found Johnson & Johnson and its subsidiaries helped fuel the state’s opioid crisis and ordered the consumer products giant to pay $572 million, more than twice the amount another drug manufacturer agreed to pay in a settlement. Cleveland County District Judge Thad Balkman’s ruling followed the first state opioid case to make it to trial and could help shape negotiations over roughly 1,500 similar lawsuits filed by state, local and tribal governments consolidated before a federal judge in Ohio. “The opioid crisis has ravaged the state of Oklahoma,” Balkman said before announcing the judgment. “It must be abated immediately.” “The opioid crisis has ravaged the state of Oklahoma,” Balkman said before announcing the judgment. “It must be abated immediately.” Before Oklahoma’s trial began May 28, the state reached settlements with two other defendant groups — a $270 million deal with OxyContin-maker Purdue Pharma and an $85 million settlement with Israeli-owned Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.
Oklahoma argued the companies and their subsidiaries created a public nuisance by launching an aggressive and misleading marketing campaign that overstated how effective the drugs were for treating chronic pain and understated the risk of addiction. Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter says opioid overdoses killed 4,653 people in the state from 2007 to 2017.
Hunter called Johnson & Johnson a “kingpin” company that was motivated by greed. He specifically pointed to two former Johnson & Johnson subsidiaries, Noramco and Tasmanian Alkaloids, which produced much of the raw opium used by other manufacturers to produce the drugs. Hunter said, “Johnson & Johnson will finally be held accountable for thousands of deaths and addictions caused by their activities.”
Among those seated in the courtroom on Monday were Craig and Gail Box, whose son Austin was a 22-year-old standout linebacker for the Oklahoma Sooners when he died of a prescription drug overdose in 2011.
Sabrina Strong, an attorney for Johnson & Johnson and its subsidiaries, said the companies have sympathy for those who suffer from substance abuse but called the judge’s decision “flawed.” “You can’t sue your way out of the opioid abuse crisis,” Strong said. “Litigation is not the answer.”

GUEST: Bill Lockwood http://americanlibertywithbilllockwood.com answers Jesse’s Biblical Question: Why do whites help their enemies destroy them? Sin. He talks about Ted Kennedy’s immigration law change; Kennedy hated the constitution and Christianity. They talk about guns and gun control, and responsibility. Jesse brings up blacks committing mass shootings, such as the cop shooter in Philadelphia.
Joel reads Super Chats, thank you!
Ben from San Francisco, CA, didn’t take abortion very seriously before he read Jesse’s book From Rage to Responsibility. Abortion is worse than slavery; slavery was a breakfast in comparison to abortion.
TOP OF SECOND HOUR NEWS: Tuesday, August 27, 2019 – Jesse Lee Peterson’s article 8/25/19 in WND: Straight pride vs. leftist haters (Follow JLPtalk on Twitter and Facebook, that’s The Jesse Lee Peterson Show.)
(Drudge) ALL SMILES… (AP) On the G-7 summit achievement: Trump declares, ‘We got along great’.... Never mind his differences with world leaders on China, trade, Russia, Iran and more. President Donald Trump’s takeaway message from the Group of Seven summit in France was “unity.” In fact, “flawless” unity. After this year’s gathering of leaders of the world’s wealthiest so-called “democracies” (AP’s word), Trump said at a News Conference Monday, “If there was any word for this particular meeting of seven very important countries, it was unity. We got along great,” he said. “We got along great.” After Trump disrupted the last two G-7 summits with his erratic behavior, other world leaders seemed determined to play along this year in the interest of keeping any negative drama out of the headlines (AP supposes). For example, French President Emmanuel Macron, the summit host, decided to scrap the annual practice of issuing a lengthy joint statement, or communique, at the summit’s conclusion. The document typically spells out the consensus that leaders have reached on issues on the summit agenda and provides a roadmap for how they plan to tackle them. Trump roiled the 2017 meeting in Italy over the climate change passage in that summit’s final statement. And he withdrew his signature from the 2018 communique after complaining he had been slighted by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Instead, this time the leaders issued a final “declaration” that began, “The G7 leaders wish to emphasize their great unity and the positive spirit of their debates.” The French leader stressed that everyone had worked “together, hand in hand, with President Trump over these two days.”
CHINA: Trump came under pressure to end his lengthy trade dispute with China that is hurting other nations as well. (It’s a good kind of hurt; no pain, no gain! That’s my take.) But Macron said the dispute had served to “create uncertainty” that is “bad for the world economy.”
RUSSIA: Trump, as he had before last year’s summit, said he would like to see Russia re-admitted to the club. The former G-8 kicked Russia out after President Vladimir Putin annexed the Crimean Peninsula in 2014. Trump said Monday he’d prefer Russia be “inside the tent” rather than outside since so many of the issues the leaders discussed involved Russia. But Canada’s feminist PM Justin Trudeau said, “Russia has yet to change the behavior that led to its expulsion in 2014, and therefore should not be allowed back into the G-7.”
NORTH KOREA: Trump also wouldn’t adopt Japanese PM Shinzo Abe’s position that short-range ballistic missile tests by neighboring North Korea violate U.N. resolutions. Trump said, “We’re in the world of missiles, folks, whether you like it or not.”
IRAN: Trump also claimed that “great unity” existed on Iran — that Iran “can’t have nuclear weapons.” But France, Germany and other G-7 members are unhappy that Trump withdrew the U.S. from a 2015 international pact that eased sanctions on Iran in exchange for the Iranians agreeing to limit their nuclear program.
CLIMATE CHANGE: (Roll Call) Emmanuel Macron avoided talking about Climate Change at his joint press conference with Trump until a reporter brought it up. Macron and other G7 leaders see it as an existential threat; Trump does not regard it as a pressing matter, skipping a Monday summit session on the topic. Roll Call analyzes HOW MACRON TAMED THE DONALD… supposedly! The 41-year-old who’s married to a 66-year-old woman, sort of gets along with 73-year-old Trump, which is entertaining to see.
Trump Softens Rhetoric On China And Iran… (WSJ) The president says he thinks China wants to make a deal and indicates he is open to meeting with Iran’s president.
At that joint news conference with Macron, Trump said he was open to meeting with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani. The remarks came hours after the Iranian leader signaled that he too was open to talks, and Mr. Macron said he hoped the two leaders would speak in the coming weeks.

(Drudge) BIG TECH PLANS SOCIAL SCORES (Fast Company) In China, scoring citizens’ behavior is official government policy. U.S. companies are increasingly doing something similar, outside the law. Have you heard about China’s social credit system? It’s a technology-enabled, surveillance-based nationwide program designed to nudge citizens toward better behavior. The ultimate goal is to “allow the trustworthy to roam everywhere under heaven while making it hard for the discredited to take a single step,” according to the Chinese government. In place since 2014, the social credit system is a work in progress that could evolve by next year into a single, nationwide point system for all Chinese citizens, akin to a financial credit score. It aims to punish for transgressions that can include membership in or support for the Falun Gong or Tibetan Buddhism, failure to pay debts, excessive video gaming, criticizing the government, late payments, failing to sweep the sidewalk in front of your store or house, smoking or playing loud music on trains, jaywalking, and other actions deemed illegal or unacceptable by the Chinese government. It can also award points for charitable donations or even taking one’s own parents to the doctor. Punishments can be harsh, including bans on leaving the country, using public transportation, checking into hotels, hiring for high-visibility jobs, or acceptance of children to private schools. It can also result in slower internet connections and social stigmatization in the form of registration on a public blacklist.
WELL, HERE IN AMERICA: INSURANCE COMPANIES: The New York State Department of Financial Services announced earlier this year that life insurance companies can base premiums on what they find in your social media posts.
BARS: A company called PatronScan sells gadget systems that helps spot fake IDs—and troublemakers. When customers arrive at a PatronScan-using bar, their ID is scanned. The company maintains a list of objectionable customers designed to protect venues from people previously removed for “fighting, sexual assault, drugs, theft, and other bad behavior,” according to its website.
UBER & AIRBNB: (OMG, I remember Uber and Lyft banned Laura Loomer for saying she can’t find a non-Muslim driver after some terror attack.) Airbnb can disable your account for life for any reason it chooses, and it reserves the right to not tell you the reason. It’s now easy to get banned by Uber, too. You can rate the driver; the driver can rate you. Announced in May: If your average rating is “significantly below average,” Uber will ban you from the service.
WHATSAPP: You can be banned on the social messaging service WhatsApp if too many other users block you. WhatsApp is used worldwide, South Africa and all over.
(Drudge) BERNIE: HOW I WILL SAVE JOURNALISM! OH, LORD. Socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders wrote an op-ed in Columbia Journalism Review (a far-left media association). He writes, “WALTER CRONKITE [another lefty] ONCE SAID that ‘journalism is what we need to make democracy work.’” (Even though we’re not a democracy.) Bernie writes, “He was absolutely right, which is why today’s assault on journalism by Wall Street, billionaire businessmen, Silicon Valley, and Donald Trump presents a crisis—and why we must take concrete action.” He goes on:
Real journalism is different from the gossip, punditry, and clickbait that dominates today’s news. Real journalism, in the words of Joseph Pulitzer, is the painstaking reporting that will “fight for progress and reform, never tolerate injustice or corruption, [and] always fight demagogues.” Pulitzer said that journalism must always “oppose privileged classes and public plunderers, never lack sympathy with the poor, always remain devoted to the public welfare, never be satisfied with merely printing news, always be drastically independent, never be afraid to attack wrong, whether by predatory plutocracy or predatory poverty.”
When we have had real journalism, we have seen crimes like Watergate exposed and confronted, leading to anti-corruption reforms. When we have lacked real journalism, we have seen crimes like mortgage fraud go unnoticed and unpunished, leading to a devastating financial crisis that destroyed millions of Americans’ lives. Real journalism requires significant resources.
We also know that Donald Trump is making things far worse. He is a pathological liar who has spent his presidency trying to demonize journalists when they dare to debunk his lies. Worse, he has called the media the “enemy of the people” in a deliberate attempt to destroy the very idea of a free press.
Vows moratoriumon on media mergers… (Bloomberg via Yahoo) “We are not going to rubber stamp proposals like the new plan to merge CBS and Viacom into a $30 billion colossus,” he wrote.

Caller Log, courtesy of Jesse’s producer, Nick
Rose from New Jersey wants some clarification on one of the callers on Jesse’s show. James is 38 and has never seen a blonde blue eyed Jesus. Rose goes on to talk about the definitions and qualificaitons for words like white supremacist but James advises her to stay away from thinking like that. Rose moves on and has a problem with Jesse telling people to not get into the muslim thing but of couse Jesse has a right to say that, this is America afterall.
Chris from Arizona really enjoyed the straight pride parade videos that were posted. James recounts the caller named Vicky (AKA Spring Thyme in chat) who was once a lesbian but let it go after being surrounded by all the hateful people in the LGBTQ community. Chris goes on to talk about a relative that was involved in Vietnam and all the interesting details.
Scott from Texas briefly goes over a few things going on in his life which brings him to his question which is how to pray for others?
Dylan from Iowa is the one that made the Hake top of the hour news sting! He recounts a story of being at his brother's wedding and he ended up hanging out with a group of black people. They were hanging out fine until the Jews came up and they got mad at him because to them only blacks are Jews. James tells him he was talking to an angry israelite.
Dave from Houston, TX has a comment about the Jehovah’s Witnesses. He defends Russia’s family-oriented culture and handling of the Jehovah’s Witnesses who tend to get alienated as a cult from family.
Maze from Dayton, OH wonders about James comments about minorities and James reminds her that it’s whites that mostly vote for sane things like the Republican party. James reminds Maze that she is with evil people, she supports things like abortion. James mentions that Maze hates it when people say the truth about blacks. James accuses her of being the very thing she criticizes others of being.
Mike from Atlanta, Georgia wants to make a comment on the term “people of color” and says its just a dressed up way of saying colored people. James mentions it's also a way of pitting all the other races against white people.
Kevin from Connecticut touches on the demographics of voters. He wonders how a true Christian could vote for Democrat.
Phony Bernie Sanders Is Evil

Bernie Sanders is a liar. He supported Black Lives Matter. He supported #MeToo movement. He smears President Trump. The mainstream media IS the enemy of the people — and EVIL. They promote BIG lies, DESTRUCTIVE lies, DIVISIVE lies. The truth Trump tells divides people. The lies the media and Bernie tell divide worse.
The real journalism and true free press are the people who are being attacked by Democrats and MSM and RINOs. Mike Cernovich is smeared and deplatformed for being influential and telling some truth. Glenn Greenwald is smeared for opposing Russia, same with Michael Tracey — both liberals but more fair-minded. Jesse Lee Peterson is called “hate speech” for speaking the truth in love. The social media and media crack down on truth tellers (or fact tellers) such as most of us! Jesse Lee! Me! A lot of you! The guy who made the Trump CNN WWE/WWF Smack Down meme.
(Drudge) BIG TECH PLANS SOCIAL SCORES like China uses. Because the mainstream left (which is far-left) are COMMIES. (Book-burning Amazon-owned Twitch banned the word “commie.”) … I remember Uber and Lyft banned Laura Loomer for saying she can’t find a non-Muslim driver after some terror attack.
