(Drudge) 2020 explodes: Top Dems call Trump 'white supremacist'... (Axios) This is supposed to be a shift from calling him “white nationalist.” Elizabeth Warren told the New York Times "without hesitation" that Trump gave white supremacists aid and comfort. "He’s done the wink and a nod," she said. "He has talked about white supremacists as fine people. He’s done everything he can to stir up racial conflict and hatred in this country." Beto O'Rourke told MSNBC Trump made it "very clear" that he's a white supremacist. (O'Rourke has been one of the most vocal anti-Trump figures since El Paso's massacre Saturday. The former Texas congressman has said previously that Trump is a "white nationalist" who encourages racism and violence in the U.S.) Bernie Sanders told CNN's Jake Tapper over the weekend that he believes Trump is a white supremacist. (Talk about desperation!) Biden said earlier Wednesday that the president "has fanned the flames of white supremacy in this nation."
Trump later tweeted: "The Dems new weapon is actually their old weapon, one which they never cease to use when they are down, or run out of facts, RACISM! They are truly disgusting! They even used it on Nancy Pelosi. I will be putting out a list of all people who have been so (ridiculously) accused!"
(Drudge) RED FLAG: NRA WARNS TRUMP and there are concerns among White House aides — if I were a guessing man, I’d guess one aide opposed to background checks and red flag laws would be Stephen Miller; he’s a young Jewish man who turned conservative in high school while reading Guns, Crime and Freedom by Wayne LaPierre of the NRA (of which I’m a member). He’s great on immigration and hopefully has Trump’s ear still. I’m just speculating. (Wash. Post via Greenwich Time) The NRA opposes the legislation sponsored by Sens. Patrick Toomey, R-Pa., and Joe Manchin III, D-W.Va., two politicians who’ve been pushing background checks since at least 2013. Trump has spoken with Manchin at least twice. On Tuesday, Trump outlined some NRA concerns in a second call with Manchin. Trump was vague about what he would do in his comments Wednesday, and current and former White House officials said he is often ambivalent on what he should do after shootings. In public Trump supported “red flag” laws, taking away people’s guns who somehow seem dangerous but who haven’t committed any crime. Seventeen states and the District of Columbia supposedly have such laws already in place, according to the pro-infringement organization Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, which advocates more restrictions on firearms. In March, the Trump administration administratively banned bump stocks, the devices used to make semiautomatic rifles fire rapidly like machine guns (so claims the Wash. Post).
(Drudge) FACEBOOK offers news outlets million$ to license content… (WSJ) Company approached ABC News, Dow Jones, Washington Post and Bloomberg as it plans to launch news section later this year. Representatives from FB have told news executives they would be willing to pay as much as $3M a year to license headlines and previews of articles from news outlets, according to “people” familiar with the matter.
(Drudge) STUDY: Optimistic People Sleep Better, Longer… So buck up! (StudyFinds) Researchers found “significant associations between optimism and various characteristics of self-reported sleep after adjusting for a wide array of variables, including socio-demographic characteristics, health conditions and depressive symptoms,” explains study leader Rosalba Hernandez in a release. The study found that for each data point increase in a participant’s optimism score, their chances of reporting very good sleep quality increased by 78%. Additionally, individuals with higher optimism levels were much more likely to report regularly getting enough sleep — anywhere from six to nine hours per night. Positive individuals were also 74% more likely to have no insomnia issues or daytime sleepiness.

(Drudge) Woman In Hijab Stabbed At Pittsburgh Bus Shelter… (CBS Pittsburgh) Two women were stabbed, one fatally, right in front of a police officer late Thursday morning in the middle of downtown Pittsburgh. The incident was reported around 11:40 a.m. at a Port Authority bus shelter. The scene is not far from a Rite Aid, Burlington Coat Factory and the entrance to the Duquesne Club (not sure how to pronounce that…). According to witnesses, a least one of the victims may have been wearing a hijab, a garment worn by Muslim women. Janice Purdue-Dance, age 61 of Erie was the victim killed in the attack. A police officer was patrolling the area when he noticed a woman sleeping under a bus shelter. The officer turned his patrol car around to check on the woman. The officer was talking with her, the suspect came around his back and struck the woman with a knife. The suspect then turned around and stabbed a second woman. “The officer took immediate action, got the person down on the ground, got him in custody and then immediately started first aid on female to help her out,” according to the police chief. “At this time there is no evidence to suggest that this attack was racially or religiously motivated. The woman at the bus stop was not wearing religious garb, but the second victim may have been wearing a hijab. Police are investigating and will explore all possible motives.”
(Drudge) Man goes on two-hour stabbing rampage in SoCal… (AP) 4 dead and 2 wounded — A man described as 'Pure evil'... and “full of anger” went on a two-hour stabbing and robbery rampage in Southern California, killing four people and wounding two others, authorities said Wednesday. The 33-year-old Garden Grove man was taken into custody after he came out of a 7-Eleven in Santa Ana, southeast of Los Angeles, and dropped a knife along with a handgun that he had taken from a guard, police said. The violence appeared to be random and the only known motives seem to be “robbery, hate, homicide,” according to a police lieutenant. “We know this guy was full of anger and he harmed a lot of people tonight,” he said. The suspect and all the victims were Hispanic, he added. (As if it should matter! But it is mildly interesting!) The attacks on more than a half-dozen places took place over about two hours in Garden Grove and neighboring Santa Ana. One man died inside an apartment and another was found wounded on the balcony and died at a hospital. The man also robbed an insurance business, where a 54-year-old employee was stabbed several times and was expected to survive. He was armed with “some sort of machete knives” when he confronted the woman, according to witnesses. Various crime scenes! The cop said, “We have video showing him attacking these people and conducting these murders.”
(Drudge) The far-left extremist group Amnesty International issues travel warning for USA… due to rampant gun violence. I wonder where Amnesty International stands on South Africa farm murders? “Travelers to the United States should remain cautious that the country does not adequately protect people’s right to be safe, regardless of who they might be. People in the United States cannot reasonably expect to be free from harm – a guarantee of not being shot is impossible,” said Ernest Coverson, campaign manager for the End Gun Violence Campaign at Amnesty International USA. “Once again, it is chillingly clear that the U.S. government is unwilling to ensure protection against gun violence.” The travel advisory addressed growing gun violence, mostly hate crimes, including racism and discrimination, highlighting that the traveler’s race, country of origin, ethnic background, sexual orientation or gender identity may place them at higher risk after recent attacks linked to white supremacist ideology.
Fri, Aug 9, Hour 2:
Jesse reports on the stabbing spree in Santa Ana and Garden Grove by a murderer.
A woman Marlene acts pitiful and says she divorced and remarried her 4th husband who would hit her. No such thing as “verbal offense.” She calls her cat her “baby.”
Harrison from California answers the Biblical Question: What is a white supremacist?
TOP OF THIRD HOUR NEWS: Friday, August 9, 2019 –
(Drudge) Mother of El Paso gunman called cops before massacre… (Daily Mail) Mother of El Paso shooter called cops BEFORE the massacre because she was worried about her son owning an AK-47, according to an attorney for the suspected killer’s so-called family. She was told that because he was 21, he was legally allowed to purchase a gun. His mother didn't identify herself or her son during the call and police did not ask for any other information before the call finished. Crusius has been charged with capital murder in state court for the massacre, which killed 22 people and injured more than two dozen. Daily Mail refers to the suspect as “a self-declared white supremacist” which I’m pretty sure is not true — if I remember correctly, his supposed manifesto predicted the media would label him that. The attorney claimed that the mother's inquiry was 'informational' in nature and the call was not made because she believed he posed a threat to anyone. The attorney told CNN, 'This was not a volatile, explosive, erratic behaving kid. It's not like alarm bells were going off.'
(Drudge) Link between pot, shootings? (or just being young and zoomer, when pot, hormones, and violence are most frequent?) NY Post writer Miranda Devine says that “we cannot rule out a connection between increasing marijuana use, mental illness and the recent spate of mass shootings by disturbed young males.” A former girlfriend of Dayton killer Connor Betts, 24, indicated he was mentally ill, and two of his friends this week mentioned his previous drug use. Last year, the Parents Opposed to Pot lobby group claimed a link between marijuana and mass shootings, compiling a list of mass killers it claims were heavy users of marijuana from a young age, from Aurora, Colo., shooter James Holmes and Tucson, Ariz., shooter Jared Loughner to Chattanooga, Tenn., shooter Mohammad Abdulazeez. A 2018 FBI report said 40% of “active shooters” in the US between 2008 and 2013 had been diagnosed with a mental illness before the attack and 70% had “mental health stressors” or “mental health concerning behaviors.” (No duh!)
A long-term study of 50,465 Swedish army conscripts found those who had tried marijuana by age 18 had 2.4 times the risk of being diagnosed with schizophrenia in the following 15 years than those who had never used the drug. (Who knows.) Heavy users were 6.7 times more likely to be admitted to a hospital for schizophrenia. A study in New Zealand found those who used cannabis at ages 15 and 18 had higher rates of psychotic symptoms at age 26 than non-users. A 2011 study in the British Medical Journal of 2,000 teenagers found those who smoked marijuana were twice as likely to develop psychosis as those who didn’t. Another study estimated that “13 percent of cases of schizophrenia could be averted if all cannabis use were prevented.”
(Drudge) UPDATE: ICE released 300 of 680 detained in Mississippi raids… 30 of them released on ‘humanitarian grounds’ (Clarion Ledger). Another 270 were released after being processed by Homeland Security Investigations on Wednesday. Those 270 were taken back to where they were initially detained. 18 juveniles were among the released workers. Everyone taken into custody and detained was asked if they had children. The ICE spokesman said everyone would be processed but "not everyone is going to be (permanently) detained." Agents "made cellphones available" so those detained could make child care arrangements. (Geez, they’re bending over backwards for these people! Ridiculous!) If a couple was detained with minor children at home, one of them would be released on "humanitarian grounds." Single parents with minor children at home also were released. (Shameful! Send them back together!) The raids happened at seven food processing plants across Mississippi Wednesday, beginning at 7:45 a.m., in 6 or so cities.
(Drudge) Border Arrests Dropped in July… (WSJ) The Trump administration attributes the decrease of nearly 25% from June to closer cooperation with Mexico and Guatemala

People Being Driven Nuts...
(Drudge) Gun nut films himself walking into WALMART with assault weapon and 100 rounds… Off-duty firefighter stops him… held him at gunpoint. Store manager pulled alarm…
(Drudge) In a separate prior incident, Man Asks Clerk For 'Anything That Would Kill 200 People'... That was a liberal nutcase, I think. Officers found the man, who told them he was trying to make a political point.
The world is so insane that it drives us to be insane when we’re insane with anger. Stay cool
Actual Nutcases...
The ex-girlfriend of the shooter. Mentally ill!
(Heavy) Adelia Johnson, Connor Betts’ Ex-Girlfriend — she wrote a blog post in the far-left platform Medium: “My Ex-Boyfriend was the Dayton Shooter: This is not an excuse for Connor Betts. This is just the Connor that I knew.”
She said “We...were very open about our mental illnesses…. he had bipolar disorder and possibly OCD…. Joking about personal mental illnesses is one of the biggest coping tools in the mental health toolbelt…. So, when he started joking about his dark thoughts, I understood. Dark thoughts for someone with a mental illness are just a symptom that we have to learn how to manage. Joking about wanting to hurt people was just heard as, ‘I have uncomfortable thoughts that are inappropriate to express, but I need to joke about them otherwise they’re too scary and real.’ People who do not have a mental illness do not understand this sense of humor. … He trusted me with so much of his darkness that I forgot most of it.”
“Connor and I kept our relationship on the down-low due to the polyamorous nature of it. I was engaged to another man while dating Connor, and all parties involved knew about the situation. Everything was consensual, even if it was a bit of an adjustment.” (So white, so Huff Post!)
They went to a bar, and she said, “We ended up getting into a political debate with a Republican. Connor really knew his stuff and he was impressed when I knew mine. …. A couple of drinks later, Connor asked me if I saw the video of the synagogue shooting.” So he showed it to her!
“By then end of the night, I was trashed from accidentally drinking too much from anxiety. He seemed way soberer than I was.”
Johnson Says She Broke Up With Betts (via TEXT) Because He Became Too Aggressive.

Dana from New York wants to know where Trump's rhetoric is taking us along with some other questions. Referring to Charlottesville, James would have protested alongside with the unite the right people. It’s a shame that people want our historical monuments gone. Dana totally agrees and then moves on to race relations. He says that race relations are better but doesn’t like the whole “racism doesn’t exist” thing. He is sure that the color of your skin affects you. James remarks on how whites have raised nice, docile children while the blacks are raised more confrontational. It’s all about how you are raised and Dana can’t find anything to disagree with there. Moving on to Trump’s rhetoric, James loves what the President has been saying. Dana asks if Obama was the worst, James says yes. Dana asks what is black culture and what is white culture? Americans are allowing their native born children to be brainwashed into destroying their culture. James touches on the frustration of white people over POCs that say they are conservative but then question Trump for comments like the “go back” tweets about Ilhan Omar and squad.
Zack from North Carolina has a friend that's being brainwashed into accusing people of racism. He wants to know how to tow the line between convincing someone but also speaking up. James thinks the college got to Zack’s friend. James urges Zack to let the spirit lead him. Since its Zack that’s in the situation then he has to see for himself when the time is right. James has a cautionary tale of burning bridges with people over topics such as these.
SKIP MCBURNEY from Georgia went a whole week without referring to the Jews in the Youtube chat. He learned something about himself, for example, even though it's mostly joking he realizes his obsession over it a little bit. Skip mentions that he overcame the fallen state, and James wants to know how he got over it. Skip says that he came to realize that he was wrong for hating people. James wants to know if Skip ever dealt with his parents but they have since expired. He did write a sort of open letter to his dead parents in a way facing them. James asks how his father’s drinking affected him.
Scott from Minnesota touches on his story being medicated from a young age. He remarks on how people take their diagnoses as an identity. Scott now believes that it really is trauma and anger. Scott never knew what was really wrong with him growing up but has since connected the dots, his anger is affecting his health. His parents divorced because the mother hated the father for drinking. Scott tried getting off the meds cold turkey which didn’t go down well. Scott remembers hearing voices throughout his ordeal and remembers violent thoughts.
Louis from Texas has been listening for a year and like The Hake Report. Louis like the message to forgive your parents and James finds it crazy that even the grown “boy-men” still say “I have a great relationship with my mom”. Louis started reading the bible after his mother died. He challenges Jesse’s view of the bible. Louis admits his grandmother was leading the family. James warns Louis to not get too into reading the bible.
KT from Washington D.C. brings up the DQ (the Dairy Question) and then touches on yesterdays free speech panel. In his opinion, Travis was out of control and wanted James to get him under control. James agrees mostly with Travis but he is wrong for hating. James was also shocked when Brandon Tatum wanted to red flag Travis.
The Solution: Men’s History Month Free Speech Forum
This was the spirit of the First Amendment. One thing about blacks, they get it off their chest. Whites are more repressed in general.
The people in the audience made some interesting points: Mike, Josh, you guys represented the frustration and concerns of white young men really well.
One of the most shocking, telling, and foreboding moments: when Brandon Tatum said they need to “red flag” Travis. Yes, he’s snarky and impatient, but his politics are no more extreme than Democrats (kill babies, punch white people), or useless than most Republicans (who’ve surrendered the country).
Michael Greer, a lady who’s been on Jesse’s show talking about Agenda 21, pointed out what I did, that gov’t officials called the Tea Party “domestic terrorists,” so she didn’t like Red Flag laws.
A vindictive girlfriend or worrying mother could “red flag” a young man unjustifiably.
Liberal anti-gun friends could call authorities on a conservative pro-gun friend. Liberals don’t think straight. Conservatives don’t totally either.
And who decides it whether a “red flag” is legitimate? Liberal judges. Untrustworthy “experts.”
Mental health professionals claim Trump is dangerous to the mental health of the public, remember. They’re the ones who are mental and dangerous. Nutcases! — Jesse interviewed Dr. Bandy Lee and Dr. Philip Zimbardo.
