(Drudge) BIBI ON THE BRINK STILL DEADLOCKED RESULTS (AP) Netanyahu and rightist allies appear to fall short of majority… Israel’s two main political parties were deadlocked Wednesday after an unprecedented repeat election, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu trying to keep his job against Benny Gantz. The election’s seeming political kingmaker, Avigdor Lieberman, said he’ll insist upon a secular unity government between Netanyahu’s Likud and Benny Gantz’s Blue and White parties, who are running neck-and-neck to become the country’s largest party. Lieberman demanded a secular “liberal” government WITHOUT the religious and ultra-Orthodox allies the prime minister has long relied upon. Netanyahu is the longest serving leader is Israeli history. But this is the second vote in 5 months, a do-over was necessary last time after Netanyahu wasn’t able to put together a coalition gov’t.
Gamble pays off for Lieberman, who becomes Israeli kingmaker… (AP) He spurned his “mentor” Bibi Netanyahu to force this re-election. He didn’t like the ultra-Orthodox Jewish parties’ influence.
FYI: (Wikipedia) Avigdor Lieberman is a Soviet-born Israeli politician who served as the Defense Minister of Israel recently; he resigned last November over a ceasefire in Gaza which he characterized as "surrendering to terror." He’s also founder and chair of the secular nationalist party Yisrael Beiteinu, and some say he’s trying to take down Netanyahu and have him replaced as head of the Likud party (which is supposedly center-right, whatever that means).
(The Times of Israel) A few hours ago, with 90% of vote officially counted, Benny Gantz’s “center left” (probably that means far-left) party Blue and White was edging out Likud 32-31.
Netanyahu could face corruption charges in coming weeks. (Wash. Post via Stamford Advocate) Winning could be only way to avoid prosecution… and even then he could face trial. Looming over Netanyahu are potential charges of fraud, bribery and breach of trust. Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit announced in February that he intended to indict Netanyahu on the charges which stem from three separate cases in which he allegedly agreed to political favors in exchange for gifts, in one case, or, in the other two, favorable media coverage.
In the first case, called Case 1000, Mandelblit alleges Netanyahu accepted almost $280,000 worth of gifts, including champagne and cigars, from Hollywood producer Arnon Milchan. In exchange, Netanyahu allegedly helped Milchan, an Israeli citizen, extend his U.S. visa and asked his finance minister at the time for income tax exemptions to benefit Milchan.
In Case 2000, prosecutors allege that a conversation recorded by one of Netanyahu's close aides reveal the prime minister making a deal with Arnon Mozes, publisher of Israel's most largely circulated newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth. Netanyahu is alleged to have told Mozes he would pass a law to weaken the newspaper's rival, in exchange for favorable news coverage. No such law was ever passed.
In the final and perhaps most serious case, Case 4000, Netanyahu faces a bribery charge along with charges of fraud and breach of trust for allegedly easing regulations to benefit the Israeli telecommunications giant Bezeq. In exchange, Bezeq's majority shareholder Shaul Elovitch allegedly offered Netanyahu favorable coverage on his news website Walla.
He calls it a "witch hunt" and his lawyers accused AG Avichai Mandelblit of interfering with elections by announcing his intention to indict during a campaign season.
(AFP via Yahoo News) Election turnout 69.4%... higher than in April polls. "In the coming days, we will enter into negotiations to establish a strong Zionist government and to prevent a dangerous anti-Zionist government," he told supporters at a post-election rally in Tel Aviv. The "anti-Zionist" reference was directed at Israel's Arab parties, with exit polls showing they could become the third-largest force in parliament. The Arabs said they may back Gantz for premier, which could block Netanyahu from receiving the chance to form a government.
(Drudge) U.S., Saudi Military Forces Failed to Detect Attack on Oil Facilities… (YEP, THOSE DRONES ARE SNEAKY!) (WSJ) Drones and missiles—which officials increasingly believe were launched from Iran—appeared to have flown low to the ground so that they weren’t detected by radar or defense systems. There have been dozens of drones and missiles hitting their targets!
Wed, Sep 18, Hour 1:
Jesse plays dumb black congressmen Hank Johnson, Sheila Jackson-Lee, and Hakeem Jeffries attacking Trump guy Corey Lewandowski, who hits back and doesn’t back down. “It was just a rant! … I think I’m the good-looking man.”
TOP OF SECOND HOUR NEWS: Wednesday, September 18, 2019 -
(Drudge) Trump Causes LA Traffic Chaos With Big Cash Fundraiser… (Deadline) Air Force One landed at LAX yesterday (Tuesday) an hour behind schedule. He got on Marine One for a possibly augmented trip to DTLA before his Beverly Hills fundraiser last night. BTW – Unlike when President Obama was in town for fundraisers, LA Mayor Eric Garcetti did not greet the current Commander-in-Chief at the airport. On the other hand, the Democrat and possible VP pick did post a video online on Tuesday addressing Trump and his recent comments about the alarming homelessness issue in the City of Angels: He tweeted out a Facebook video of himself in a freshly put-together women’s homeless shelter bragging that he’s doing something, and accusing Trump of playing politics with the homeless crisis. Garcetti was first elected mayor of L.A. in 2013, and re-elected 2017. Homelessness has only gotten worse under him. This is where Trump speechwriter and tough border policy pusher and close Trump advisor Stephen Miller is from — he went to Santa Monica High School and stood alone for the flag salute. LAPD HQ tweeted: “DTLA street closures from Tuesday 4am to midday on Wednesday [that’s today] during the visit of the President of the United States: Figueroa from 6th to 8th, Wilshire from Flower to Beaudry, 7th from Flower to Bixel. Expect traffic congestion and avoid the area if possible.”
(Drudge) White House intervenes in GM strike… (Politico) The White House is seeking to end the United Auto Workers strike against General Motors with an agreement that would reopen an assembly plant in Lordstown, Ohio that GM shut down in March. It effectively put the White House on the side of the UAW [union]. Politico’s sources say discussions are still in early stages. Some 48,000 GM workers went out on strike Monday demanding higher wages, more generous health care benefits and more job security than management has been willing to offer in a new contract. But he's criticized union leaders and has a fraught relationship with the automakers. His Justice Department recently opened an antitrust probe into four automakers, not including GM, that are cooperating with California as it tries to bolster clear air rules.
On Monday, President Trump said of the strike, "Federal mediation is always possible, if that’s what they want. Hopefully, they’ll be able to work out the GM strike quickly. We don’t want General Motors building plants outside of this country." Trump himself has indicated he was sympathetic to the workers’ cause. “My relationship has been very powerful with the [UAW] — not necessarily the top person or two, but the people that work doing automobiles,” Trump said Monday. “Nobody has ever brought more companies into the United States.” “And big things are happening in Ohio, including with Lordstown,” he said. “Very positive things are happening.” After Politico published this story, the deputy press secretary said it’s false.
The president bludgeoned General Motors last year for announcing plans last year to cut nearly 14,000 jobs in North America, including plant closures in Michigan, Ohio and Maryland. Back in March Trump urged them to start negotiations; he tweeted then: “Why wait, start them now! I want jobs to stay in the U.S.A. and want Lordstown (Ohio), in one of the best economies in our history, opened or sold to a company who will open it up fast! Car companies are all coming back to the U.S. So is everyone else.”
(Drudge) SWAMP: Trump outpaces Obama, Bush in naming ex-lobbyists to Cabinet… (PSH. LOBBYISTS ARE NOT THE PROBLEM!)
YOU HEARD THIS FIRST HOUR: (Drudge) House Judiciary Committee holds 1st impeachment hearing… Lewandowski defends President… (AP) — The first impeachment hearing held by House Democrats quickly turned hostile as their sole witness, former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, stonewalled many of their questions and declared they were “focusing on petty and personal politics.” Lewandowski, a devoted friend and supporter of President Donald Trump, followed White House orders not to discuss conversations with the Republican president beyond what was already public in the report by former special counsel Robert Mueller. Trump cheered Lewandowski along as he testified on Tuesday, tweeting that his opening statement was “beautiful.”
On Tuesday, Lewandowski, who is considering a run for U.S. Senate in New Hampshire, defiantly made clear he wouldn’t make life easy for the Democrats. He demanded that they provide him a copy of the Mueller report, sending Democratic staff scrambling to find one. He read directly from the report and asked Democrats to read passages to him, showing that he wouldn’t say much beyond what Mueller wrote. Republicans on the panel forced a series of procedural votes, immediately sending the hearing into disarray.
TOP OF THIRD HOUR NEWS: Wednesday, September 18, 2019 -
(Drudge) Republicans hemorrhaging congressmen; Another one retires… (GOOD! GET RID OF THOSE RINOs!) (Daily Caller) Republican Rep. Paul Cook Of California Announces He’s Retiring From Congress — he will not be seeking reelection and will instead run for his county supervisor seat (San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors). Cook was elected to Congress in 2012 and is currently in his fourth term. Cook served as Mayor of Yucca Valley and in the state legislature before being elected to Congress. He also served as an infantry officer in the Marines. Cook is now the 18th House Republican Representative to announce they will not seek re-election in 2020. Cook serves on the House Committee on Armed Services and House Committee on Natural Resources. (Last year, Trump had backed establishment guy Cook as incumbent over Tea Party guy Tim Donnelly.)
Texas Rep. Bill Flores (who’d reportedly criticized the Trump family) said Wednesday he will not seek reelection next year for a sixth term in Congress, making him the fifth Texas Republican to announce retirement this election cycle. Republican Texas Rep. Kenny Marchant announced in late August that he will not seek reelection, making him the fourth federal Republican congressman from the state to retire in the last few weeks. Marchant’s retirement came as three other Texas Republican representatives, including Will Hurd, Mike Conaway (who reportedly said “serving under Trump is embarrassing”), and Pete Olson (who disavowed Trump’s tweet about “the squad” in July), also recently announced they will not be seeking reelection. Hurd, the only black Republican in the House of Representatives, said he will not seek reelection in late August, saying he plans to “serve my country in a different way.” (Hurd as I recall is a black RINO and Trump hater. Will Hurd had called Trump’s tweets about the Democrat female congressmen of color 'racist and xenophobic'. So good riddance to bad rubbish!)
(Drudge) 53 Americans died in mass shootings in August -- and 40,000 died from obesity! (British paper The Sun) Jane Moore writes: In his fascinating book Unnatural Causes, forensic pathologist Dr Richard Shepherd observes how, over the years, the dead bodies he examines have changed. One of the most noticeable is the rapid increase in body fat. He says: “Unless a patient is homeless or has died of cancer or is so old or poor they could not eat, few are the same shape as the dead of the 1980s when I started practising. “Looking back at forensic photos from that era I am astonished at how thinness was then the norm.” The NHS (National Health Service) is reportedly bracing itself for soaring levels of cancer, Type 2 diabetes and heart and liver disease. Here in the states, talk-show host Bill Maher said: “In August, 53 Americans died from mass shootings. Terrible, right? Do you know how many died from obesity? Forty-thousand.” He said: “Fat shaming doesn’t need to end. It needs to make a comeback. Some amount of shame is good. We shamed people out of smoking and into wearing seat belts . . . shame is the first step in reform.”
(Drudge) Orlando most dangerous place to walk… (Orlando Sentinel) A study from Smart Growth America has found that between 2008 and 2017, drivers struck and killed 49,340 people who were walking on streets across the United States. The study shows that 5,433 of those people died in the state of Florida, but an alarming 656 of those fatalities occurred in Central Florida. That makes the Orlando, Sanford and Kissimmee metropolitan area the most dangerous place in the United States to walk, according to the report. The top six spots on the list of most dangerous metro areas for walking in the United States are in Florida.
(No. 1: Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford,
No. 2: Deltona-Daytona Beach-Ormond Beach,
No. 3: Palm Bay-Melbourne-Titusville,
No. 4: North Port-Sarasota-Bradenton,
No. 5: Lakeland-Winter Haven,
No. 6: Jacksonville).
The next most dangerous states for pedestrians in the United States after Florida? Alabama, Delaware, Louisiana, Mississippi and Georgia. See the full list on Smart Growth America.

Don’t Be Like Elizabeth Warren, Ladies!
And Don’t Be This Beta, Guys!
This happened Monday evening, Sept 16: (C-SPAN) Senator Elizabeth Warren Speech in Washington Square Park Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, gave a speech in New York City’s Washington Square Park. She outlined her plan to battle corruption, in her remarks referencing the deadly 1911 Triangle Shirtwaist factory fire as an example of how people can fight back against corrupt forces.
Clip A: Black guy talking about corrupt movements like they’re good - BLM, MeToo, Violence against poc’s. Planet is melting. Childcare.

(Roll Call) Trump mocks Elizabeth Warren’s NYC crowd: ‘Anybody could do that’
Warren spoke in front of the iconic arch in the Big Apple’s Washington Square Park before an audience numbering in the “thousands,” according to estimates from local media outlets. (Her campaign claims 20,000.) But the president was not impressed with Warren’s crowd.
“Anybody that can’t get people standing in the middle of Manhattan in the most densely populated area of the country — anybody could do that,” the president said in California to reporters traveling with him. “I think more Democrats should do it. I get these crowds in areas that nobody’s ever seen crowds before. Pretty amazing.
“Certainly, if I went to Manhattan, if I went there – No. 1, she didn’t have 20,000 people; and No. 2, I think anybody would get a good crowd there,” he said. “I think you have a good crowd there if you don’t even go there, just say you’re going and how many people are in the park.”
She was the lone 2020 Democratic candidate he mentioned Monday night at a campaign Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
“I don’t want to do this too early,” he said while telling supporters he does not want to unleash his full reelection campaign blitz too soon, before turning to his derisive nickname for Warren, who has shot up the polls in the race for the Democratic nomination: “You know the Pocahontas thing? I did that it was before it’s time.”

Chris from Arizona took James advice on not worrying about her kids so much. She brings up a story of an illegal that was deported twice but the story was pushed back to the 10th page meanwhile a story of a correctional officer having consensual sex with an inmate is front page.
Chris from New Hampshire is happy the economy is doing so well because there will be jobs left for all the Democrats that are going to lose the Presidential race.
Sandra from Michigan is sick of hearing “our planet, one people, one planet”. It’s all brainwashing words. She touches on the corrupt Elizabeth Warren and her flimsy connection to her “native heritage”. James likes her comments on “one people” because it shows their hypocrisy. They don’t want to unite with Trump supporters!
James from Nebraska - great call!
Maze from Dayton, OH wonders why James is upset about Warren since she is supposed to be campaigning. Maze says James is too stupid to observe himself, or maybe it’s other white people she’s talking about.
NEWS: (Fox News) Mike Pompeo, who I believe is Secretary of State, says that Iran, not Yemeni Houthi rebels, committed an “act of war” in attacking Saudi oil production. But stay cool, Trump isn’t gonna do wrong, I don’t think.
