Longest U.S.-Mexico Drug Tunnel EVER Found! (Hake News, Thur. 1/30/20)
Hour 1, Thursday, January 30, 2020 -
Trump rally tonight in Des Moines, IA, about 7 PM CST (8 ET / 6 MT / 5 PT… figure it out if you’re in Hawaii, Alaska, or somewhere else in the world.)
Rand Paul vs. John Roberts… (Fox News) Senator Silenced! Rand Paul erupts, vows fight after Chief Justice Roberts shields whistleblower at Trump trial. Chief Justice of the United States John Roberts (A TOTAL RINO) blocked Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul (ALSO A RINO BUT SOMETIMES LESS BAD) from posing a question during the Senate impeachment trial Wednesday that would have named the alleged whistleblower at the center of the case, Fox News is told — and Paul may try to force the issue during the question-and-answer session that begins Thursday afternoon. John Roberts actually receives the questions in note cards from senators, then reads the question aloud in the Senate chamber to be answered by either House Democratic managers or Trump's defense team. But Fox News says Roberts may soon lose his grip on the proceedings amid a torrent of criticism both inside and outside the Senate.
The Federalist co-founder Sean Davis condemned what he called Roberts' "arbitrary and unilateral censorship of senators and Senate business," and reported that Roberts had initially sought to block even general questions of the intelligence community whistleblower. When Republicans threatened a vote rebuking Roberts on the record, Davis reported, Roberts backed down and decided only to prohibit mentioning the whistleblower's name.
Paul has long raised concerns about possible intelligence community overreach (THAT’S ONE GOOD THING ABOUT HIM). Last year, Paul was vocal about wanting testimony from the whistleblower on the record. Roberts, under the Constitution, presides over the impeachment trial.
Federal law protects whistleblowers only from retaliation in the workplace, and does not ensure their anonymity; and Republicans have disputed whether this particular whistleblower would even qualify for those limited protections, saying his complaint concerns a policy dispute and does not allege criminal or civil wrongdoing by the president.
The whistleblower's attorney, Mark Zaid, openly admitted back in 2017 that a "coup" had started against the president from within the administration, and that CNN's coverage would play a "key role" in the effort. He also openly solicited intelligence community members to help impeach and "get rid" of Trump, years before Trump's call with Urkaine's leader that triggered the current impeachment proceedings. SCUM OF THE EARTH. The fake whistleblower famously met with Adam Schiff’s office before filing the complaint, yet Schiff lied (according to Wash. Post) multiple times and claimed he doesn’t know who the phony whistleblower is.
(Drudge asks) CAN I GET A WITNESS? (AP) The vote on calling witnesses is expected by Friday.
BTW: Texas Republican Ted Cruz asked if it mattered whether there was a quid pro quo? Simply, no, declared Trump team expert Alan Dershowitz, who said many politicians equate their reelection with the public good. “That’s why it’s so dangerous to try to psychoanalyze a president,” he said. Rep. Adam Schiff, the Democrat leading the House prosecutors, appeared stunned. “All quid pro quos are not the same,” he retorted. Some might be acceptable, some not. “And you don’t need to be a mind reader to figure out which is which. For one thing, you can ask John Bolton.”
(Drudge) FRIDAY CLIFFHANGER… (NY Post) If Democrats find four Republicans to vote for witnesses, the trial could stretch until March. If they fail, Trump likely would be quickly acquitted.
(Drudge) Evening News Spin: 100% Negative on Trump Defense, 95% Positive Dems… (Newsbusters has all the details...) ABC, CBS, and NBC of course gave all positive attention to Democrats, none to Republicans. Typical!
Dershowitz says era more divisive than McCarthyism… TRUE. (Wash. Times)

Don Lemon’s guests make fun of Southern Trump supporters and he laughs his head off. He’s a homosexual confused about his own identity.
Other interesting calls and stories, I think. Joel reads Super Chats.
Jason from Long Island, NY, asks a bunch of interesting questions, like Jesse’s never dying. He asks how he knows he’s born again. Once he is, he’ll know. He’s illegal, his mom brought him, evil woman, she’s angry. He asks if he should go back. He’s living with her and her boyfriend. He’s in school but is bad at math.

Trump signed the USMCA yesterday… (NY Times) President Trump signed the revised North American Free Trade Agreement into law on Wednesday, fulfilling a campaign promise to rewrite “one of the worst trade deals” in history.
“Today we are finally ending the NAFTA nightmare,” Mr. Trump said during a White House signing ceremony, calling the new trade deal a “colossal victory” for farmers, factory workers and other countries.
Much of the new United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement simply updates the 25-year-old North American Free Trade Agreement, with new laws on intellectual property protection, the internet, investment, state-owned enterprises and currency.
But the 2,082-page pact also includes significant changes in several key areas, including incentives to make cars in North America and open Canadian markets for American dairy farmers.
It rolls back a special system of arbitration for corporations that has drawn bipartisan condemnation, and includes additional provisions designed to help identify and prevent labor violations, particularly in Mexico. Some of those changes were inserted at the insistence of Democrats, who used their control of the House to secure long-desired policy changes.
(Fox News) Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross (WHOEVER THAT IS) said Thursday, “I think it’s almost physically impossible for there to be a recession this year,” Ross told FOX Business’s Maria Bartiromo.
(Fox News) The agreement has already been ratified by Mexico, but not yet by Canada. "You're going to see more jobs all across the economy, in the automobile sector, in the agricultural sector and of course in the energy sector as well," Energy Secretary Dan Brouillette told FOX Business' Maria Bartiromo on Wednesday.
Hake has heard from some who say it has problems, so we’ll see.
(Fox News) DOJ backs down from prison demand after Gen. Flynn moves to withdraw his guilty plea. The DOJ now says they’d accept probation again — that’s former Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. Just weeks ago, the DOJ said it would seek up to six months of prison time for the retired Army lieutenant general who spent just 24 days at his post in the Trump administration. Flynn has an aggressive new attorney who had him withdraw his guilty plea for making false statements to two FBI agents in 2017 -- statements that eventually wrapped him up in former Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
"In truth, I never lied," Flynn wrote in a new supplemental motion to withdraw his guilty plea filed Wednesday. "My guilty plea has rankled me throughout this process, and while I allowed myself to succumb to the threats from the government to save my family, I believe I was grossly misled about what really happened." Flynn also blamed his former lawyers for providing him with bad information that led him to plead guilty.
Michael Flynn takes on 'egregious' FBI misconduct, and a little-known FBI agent in guilty plea withdrawal. “I did not lie to them,” Flynn said. He took aim at the “outrageous” Bureau conduct. Flynn's team maintained he had no reason to lie about his communications with the Russian ambassador, etc. And the bureau had listened in on his calls with the Russian ambassador and cleared him of criminal wrongdoing.
Techno_Fog Tweeted: FBI Agent Joe Pientka – who lied the FISA Court and later interviewed Flynn – was promoted and moved to the SF area AFTER the FBI learned of serious problems in his FISA application.
Last week it came out that the former Trump campaign staffer Carter Page FISA warrant (to spy on Trump) lacked probable cause, the DOJ admits in a declassified assessment!

Hour 3, Thursday, January 30, 2020 - I host Hour 4, The Hake Report
(Drudge) Wind knocks over part of new border wall… OH NO! (CNN) Newly installed panels from the US border wall fell over in high winds Wednesday, landing on trees on the Mexican side of the border. The area is part of an ongoing construction project to improve existing sections of the wall. Reportedly, the sections that gave way had recently been set in a new concrete foundation in Calexico, California. The concrete had not yet cured, according to Pitones, and the wall panels were unable to withstand the windy conditions.
The National Weather Service reports that winds in the area gusted as high as 37 mph Wednesday. Video from CNN affiliate KYMA shows the metal panels leaning against trees adjacent to a Mexicali, Mexico, street as the wind whips up dirt from the construction site on the other side of the border. Reportedly there was no property damage or injuries.
For the past three years of Trump’s presidency, the administration has fought a host of phony legal and logistical challenges (entertained by corrupt liberal judges, etc). Even with funding, the administration will have to contend with private landowners whose property may be seized to build the wall along the border.
Trump has sought to pull hundreds of millions of dollars from several government accounts as his administration looks to construct 450 miles of wall. Earlier this month, the administration announced that the wall had reached the 100-mile mark, the majority of which was replacing dilapidated barriers with newer, enhanced designs. CNN’s writers claim, without evidence, that only around a half-mile of new wall was built in the Rio Grande Valley. Sounds like they’re trying to downplay Trump’s work.
(Drudge) VIDEO shows: the Longest drug tunnel ever found… (Sac Bee) It starts in a small industrial building in Tijuana, Mexico, according to United States officials. From there, the extensive tunnel snakes underground beneath the U.S.-Mexico border, finally ending roughly 4,309 feet later in Southern California, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials said in a news release on Wednesday. Federal officials called it “the longest illicit cross-border tunnel ever discovered along the Southwest border.” Stretching nearly a mile, this tunnel is more than 1,000 feet longer than the next longest tunnel discovered in the area — a passageway 2,966 feet long that was found in San Diego in 2014, officials said.
The tunnel, which originates about half a mile west of the Otay Mesa Port of Entry, was found in late August 2019 — and after that, Mexican authorities worked with the San Diego Tunnel Task Force to map the sprawling passageway, relying on technology, community outreach and intelligence gathering.
There was also an offshoot to the main shaft that was found about 3,529 feet into the U.S., though that segment of the tunnel abruptly ended without reaching the surface, officials said.
Considerable infrastructure was found inside the tunnel, officials said. It included an “extensive” system of rails and carts, forced ventilation, an elevator at the entry point, high-voltage electrical panels and cables and a complicated system for drainage.
On average, the tunnel runs 70 feet below the ground’s surface and is roughly 5 1/2 feet tall and 2 feet wide, officials said. … the rail lines “designed to move large packs of drugs.” Still, no one has been arrested and no drugs have been seized as a result of the tunnel being found, according to federal officials.
(Drudge) Warren proposes CRIMINAL penalties for spreading disinfo online… THROW HER IN JAIL! FEMINISM IS A TERRIBLE LIE!
She wants to hold tech companies accountable for their actions in light of the 2016 election.
Warren proposed to combat disinformation by holding big tech companies like Facebook, Twitter, and Google responsible for their actions.

Are you part of the New Right? When I think of the New Right, I think of Mike Cernovich (good guy). Are you similar to Mike Cernovich?
(Wikipedia’s Third New Right is a mixed bag. Wikipedia’s lack of accuracy can be pretty horrific. But it lets you know what liberals think, anyway.)
Did you vote for Trump? When did it become quite clear that Trump was going to win in 2016?
How old are you??
CALLER: Maze (Dayton, OH) What’s the difference between a liberal and a libertarian?
Your new book was plugged by: @AndrewYang - @TuckerCarlson - @TulsiGabbard - @ninaturner (black Bernie campaign co-chair) - @KyleKulinski…. Bunch of liberals!
We’re in a moral crisis: No babies — just pornography, birth control, abortion, LGBT. Immigration & “Education” bringing liberals/socialists. Google, Facebook, and Twitter betraying the country and censoring independent & conservative leaders. Most of the gov’t hates the people of the U.S. What’s the solution?
Do you agree patriarchy is falsely turned into a bad word?
I DIDN’T GET TO SAY THIS: The populist left are a bunch of dummies! Bernie is an imposter! He’s a phony! Not honest whatsoever. He’s been in government for decades, a career politician pretending to care about the people, kissing up to BLM. He’s the scum of the earth. But his fans hate Trump because they’re brainwashed to hate good strong white men.
I DIDN’T GET TO ASK THIS: Are you a Christian?
-- End of interview! He was only available for 30 minutes…
James then takes calls and comments on the news...
Bruna from Albania says Balkanization is not a bad thing that it’s cast to be. (Saagar had said he doesn’t believe in balkanizing America into the different races.)
Russ from Hampton, VA, James is hearing his voice coming back on the phone.
Morty from Kansas City, MO, asks James about the Virginia gun rally and KFC coleslaw. James hates mayo and sour cream.
James warns about believing the Trump naysayers about “no wall.” There is and has been wall being built.
The FBI are a bunch of liberal dummies who hate Trump and America. They railroaded Gen. Michael Flynn.

Thanks, y’all!
