(Drudge) CNN settles lawsuit with Covington Catholic student… (Mediaite) CNN, on Tuesday, settled a lawsuit with Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann — who claimed that the network made “vicious” and “direct attacks” against him following a viral confrontation with American Indian activist Nathan Phillips in January 2019 (THE OLD INDIGENOUS MALE WAS BEATING HIS DRUM IN HIS FACE, AND NICK JUST STOOD THERE SMILING WITH A MAGA HAT AFTER A PRO-LIFE RALLY WITH HIS FRIENDS, NOT KNOWING WHAT ELSE TO DO — MEANWHILE BLACK HEBREW ISRAELITES SHOUTING AND CUSSING AT THEM.). Cincinnati’s Fox19 reported, “The amount of the settlement was not made public during a hearing at the federal courthouse in Covington, Kentucky,” and trial dates “are still not set for Sandmann’s lawsuit against NBC Universal and the Washington Post,” which he is also suing for their defamatory media coverage of the “confrontation.” CNN had filed a motion to dismiss Sandmann’s lawsuit in May 2019, arguing, without evidence, that its coverage was factual. NOT!
“As far as standing there, I had every right to do,” Sandmann declared following the incident. “My position is that I was not disrespectful to Mr. Phillips. I respect him, I’d like to talk to him.” After it was announced that Sandmann was suing several media organizations over their nasty coverage against the 17-y-o white man, President Donald Trump cheered the student on, tweeting, “Covington student suing WAPO. Go get them Nick. Fake News!” (He tweeted at least a few times about it over the past year.)

(Drudge) Putin lands in Damascus on unannounced visit… to visit Syrian counterpart Bashar Al-Assad. Moscow has been a key backer of Mr Assad for years, formally entering Syria’s civil war on his side in 2015. That intervention was credited with turning the tide of the conflict in his favour, allowing his forces to recapture most of Syria. The visit is Mr Putin’s second to Syria since his country’s military forces joined the civil war. Last time was 2017. Syria is a key ally of Iran, and Iranian forces have fought alongside the Syrian government in the civil war. Soleimani, one of the key figures in the war as the architect of Iranian military operations in the Middle East, had just arrived in Iraq from Syria when he was killed by a US drone at Baghdad airport on Friday. ALSO BTW: Reportedly a Boeing 737 crashed in Iran shortly after takeoff! (Drudge) Ukraine plane crashes in Iran, killing all 176 on board... Developing… (CNBC) It was bound for Kiev (Kyiv). Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752. The plane was a U.S.-made Boeing 737-800, not the Max model that was grounded almost a year ago after two fatal crashes. The cause of the crash was not immediately known. The plane crashed shortly after 6 a.m. local time, minutes into the flight. Press photos showed emergency workers combing through a wide field of wreckage outside of Tehran. The aircraft had been carrying citizens of Canada, Iran, Sweden and Ukraine. There were four passengers from Afghanistan, three from Germany, and three from Britain.
The crash occurred amid rising tensions between Iran and the U.S. and hours after Iran fired ballistic missiles on several bases in neighboring Iraq that were housing U.S. troops.

Fox News has PICS: Stranded illegal immigrants rescued atop border wall after a ‘precarious situation.’ Three people were stuck on a new section of 30-foot steel bollard border wall over the weekend near San Diego — around midnight Sunday. “These three were very fortunate to not have fallen from the top of the wall, which could have resulted in serious injury or death,” CBP San Diego Sector’s Acting Chief Patrol Agent Aaron Heitke said in a statement. “These dangers are not important considerations to smugglers, who place an emphasis on profits over safety.” The trio ended up on the wet, slippery wall after smugglers abandoned them. Once on the ground, agents questioned the group and found all three were Mexican citizens illegally trying to cross into the United States, Border Patrol said. A 36-year-old male, a 20-year-old female, and an 18-year-old female were transported to a nearby Border Patrol station for processing. Officials did not say how they got on top of the wall.
The new stretch of border wall includes 14 miles of 18-foot, primary steel bollard fencing built in San Diego County as part of President Trump’s campaign promise to build a wall along the southern border. It has a secondary 30-foot steel bollard barrier behind.
The new construction replaced 8-foot landing mats, usually supported by a steel mesh behind them. The project to install 14 miles of replacement barriers began in May 2018 and is now complete. The secondary project began in February 2019 and it includes 2 miles of wall that did not exist before, officials say.
Trump visited in September and signed his name on it. He said that “the numbers now are way down. And as the wall goes up — literally, as the wall goes up, the numbers go down." There was a sharp decline in apprehensions. In August 2019, there were over 3,300 apprehensions in the San Diego sector, down from over 6,800 in March and over 5,800 in May.

(The Sun) At one stage, Colombian Luis del Rio — known as El Tio — was trafficking at least ten tons of cocaine a month to Europe and the US. He was Pablo Escobar’s right-hand man before they became rivals after the drug lord kidnapped El Tio’s daughter when he stole cash. He was held in the city of Medellin. It is believed his son snitched because El Tio was having an affair with his wife. El Tio also had sex with underage girls and police found an altar at his home where he practised black magic, according to reports.
Officials are said to have seized 300 of his properties across Colombia, Mexico and the US in an ongoing operation. According to local media, the police also arrested one of his alleged partners ‘Jacobo’. Another gang member called Chepe is understood to have jumped from a third-floor window when he noticed the cops raiding his home. YIKES. Reportedly he died while trying to escape. Meanwhile, in Guatemala, a suspect called El Calvo was arrested too.
(Fox News) Ottawa shooting leaves 1 dead, 3 hurt as 'coordinated response' underway, police say — That’s Canada’s capital city. The Ottawa Police Department said the incident happened about 7:30 a.m. on Gilmour Street, in the central part of the city. Snow everywhere!
"This is not considered an active shooter situation, but the suspect remains at large and is not in custody," Ottawa Police said. Investigators believe that the shooting was a "targeted" incident.

According to journalist, activist and YouTuber Vincent James of The Red Elephants, the notion that Gen. Qassem Soleimani was behind IEDs and 600 American deaths was from George W. Bush’s VP Dick Cheney, and he seems to take it with a grain of salt.
