Drudge shares an article from The Hill quoting GOP Sens. Rand Paul (KY) and Mike Lee (UT), ripping the Trump administration over an “insulting and demeaning” closed door Iran briefing on Wednesday, announcing they will now support a resolution reining in President Trump's military powers. Lee talked to the media after the hourlong meeting and called it "the worst briefing I've seen, at least on a military issue." Defense Secretary Mark Esper, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, CIA Director Gina Haspel and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Mark Milley spoke to both Senators and Representatives, dealing with concerns from lawmakers that Trump was on a path to war with Iran, which on Tuesday night launched missiles at Iraqi bases housing U.S. troops.
Lee said the officials warned that Congress would "embolden" Iran if lawmakers debated Trump's war powers. "I find this insulting and demeaning ... to the office that each of the 100 senators in this building happens to hold. I find it insulting and demeaning to the Constitution of the United States," Lee said. CALM DOWN, LEE. (HAKE USED TO THINK MIKE LEE AND TED CRUZ WERE TOUGH CONSERVATIVES, BUT THEY’RE BOTH WEAK RINOs COMPARED TO TRUMP.) Lee did not say which briefer made the assertion but specified that no administration representative contradicted them. He added that he was going to have a "conversation" with Trump about the remarks. "I find that absolutely insane. I think that's unacceptable," Lee added.
Paul added that he found the briefing "less than satisfying" and knocked the administration for using the 2002 war authorization as the basis for last week's airstrike against an Iranian general. "I see no way in the world you could logically argue that an authorization to have war with Saddam Hussein has anything to do with having war with people currently in Iraq," Paul told reporters. RAND AT LEAST PRETENDS TO BE A LITTLE MORE DISPASSIONATE. BUT: He added that using the 2002 authorization to justify the strike that killed Gen. Qassem Soleimani in Baghdad was "absurd" and an "insult."
The briefing comes as the House is set to vote on a resolution on Thursday that would force Trump to end hostilities against Iran unless he gets specific authorization from Congress. Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) has introduced a similar resolution that is set for a vote on the Senate floor as soon as next week. Rand Paul and Mike Lee claim they were undecided about supporting the Democrat’s resolution but after that briefing they are supporting it. WHATEVER!

“I didn’t hear anything in the briefing that there was a lawful basis for the attack and that the threat was imminent,” added Rep. David Cicilline (D-R.I.), who supports defunding any military action against Iran unless Congress first approves it. “The absence of approval from Congress and consultation with Congress resulted in, I think, a very reckless decision that undermines American national security interests and the security of our country.” OH BE QUIET! The Boeing Co. 737-800 single-aisle jet ascended to 8,000 feet before disappearing from radar and crashing, killing all 176 people on board, said Ali Abedzadeh, head of Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization. CRAZY. (The plane crashed about the same time that Iran was firing missiles at Iraqi bases where Americans were.)

I might just be a random target. But this could be an attempt to Qanon me. It’s an ugly world out there.” HE’S UGLY! After a couple of hours he tweeted an update saying, “The Times is now on the case.” (Later he tweeted that he deleted the original tweet, saying the Times thinks it may have been a scam, and that he’ll have more security in the future.) Twitter was making fun of him for being a boomer. He’s 66, and supposedly a Nobel Prize winning economist (WE ALL KNOW ABOUT NOBEL PRIZES, THEY’VE BEEN A JOKE FOR A LONG TIME, GIVEN TO EVIL PEOPLE). Allegedly he once predicted in 1998 that “By 2005 or so, it will become clear that the Internet’s impact on the economy has been no greater than the fax machine’s.” Now he’s tweeting about scams. Over a year ago he tweeted: ‘Oh, Joy. I got a notification that someone tried to sign me up for a site that offers “live sex cams”. I’m sure whoever is engaging in this harassment are very fine people. If one of these attempts succeeds, advance notice: it wasn’t me.’
(People) Some singer woman (Grimes) said she was, quote, “knocked up” (unquote), and People speculates it’s by Elon Musk (of Tesla, etc.). So she’s gonna be taking advantage of him! SMH. Hahaha.). Hake heard on the news that the law bans drivers from avoiding dangerous neighborhoods, which is stupid. (Drudge) Ruth Bader says she’s cancer-free! (Político) The 86-year-old Supreme Court justice made the declaration after a series of health issues in recent months — she told CNN this an interview published Wednesday. The declaration comes after this evil pro-abortion woman, who has risen to an iconic status among liberals in recent years, dealt with a series of health issues over the past 12 or so months.
Ginsburg disclosed her most recent brush with cancer last summer, completing a three-week course of radiation therapy to treat a malignant tumor on her pancreas. In a statement, the Supreme Court said the “tumor was treated definitively and there is no evidence of disease elsewhere in the body,” and that no further treatment was necessary.
An appointee of President Bill Clinton, she missed oral arguments for the first time last January as she recovered from surgery to remove two malignant nodules in her left lung, which were discovered inspecting damage to her ribs from a fall.
She returned to the bench in February and received the pancreatic cancer diagnosis in August. Ginsburg had already beaten the disease twice, having been treated for colorectal cancer in 1999 and an earlier bout of pancreatic cancer in 2009.
She was hospitalized again just before last Thanksgiving with “chills and a fever,” but was released a day later.
The Supreme Court could rule on the Obama-era DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) program, the fate of the Affordable Care Act (OBAMACARE), so-called abortion rights and President Donald Trump’s financial records.
She joked to NPR in July by recalling: “There was a senator, I think it was after my pancreatic cancer, who announced with great glee that I was going to be dead within six months. That senator, whose name I have forgotten, is now himself dead, and I am very much alive.” AND EVIL!

Biden said: “Well I agree with you 100 percent. We should not be allowing plastic. And what we should do is phasing it out.”

Experience from these far-left states shows the bans do not reduce litter. Biden wants to impose the failed blue state model on the entire nation.
