(CNN) The federal government has activated the National Guard in California, Washington and New York, three of the states hardest hit by the coronavirus outbreak. President Trump said the extra forces will provide backup to state leaders. New York and at least seven other states are facing orders from their governors to stay home. In India, millions of residents living in 75 districts across the country are under lockdown as the second-most populous country in the world tries to avoid becoming a potential powder keg for coronavirus spread. Meanwhile, Senate Democrats have blocked movement on the massive trillion-dollar Republican-backed stimulus package. Democrats say there isn't enough regulation in the $500 billion allotted to struggling businesses, and have expressed concern they weren't involved in the proposal's creation. A vote on the package is expected at 1:00 pm today.
(Drudge) Sen. Rand Paul Tests Positive... for the coronavirus! Real Donald Trump tweeted: My friend (always there when I’ve needed him!), Senator @RandPaul , was just tested “positive” from the Chinese Virus. That is not good! He is strong and will get better. Just spoke to him and he was in good spirits.
Paul, an eye surgeon, went into quarantine Sunday after learning his results. He said he has not had symptoms and was tested out of an abundance of caution due to his extensive travel and events. He said he was not aware of any direct contact with any infected person.
Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, a Democrat from Arizona elected in 2018, chastised Paul on Twitter, saying his decision to return to the Capitol after he was tested — but before he learned the results — was “absolutely irresponsible.″ OH BE QUIET WOMAN. Sinema said she has “never commented about a fellow Senator’s choices/actions. Never once.″ But she added: “This, America, is absolutely irresponsible. You cannot be near other people while waiting for coronavirus test results. It endangers others & likely increases the spread of the virus.″
Paul’s diagnosis came after two House members, Reps. Mario Diaz Balart, R-Fla., and Ben McAdams, D-Utah, tested positive for the virus.
Paul, a deficit hawk, was among eight Senate Republicans who voted against a House-passed bill last week that provided more than $100 billion to boost testing for the coronavirus and guarantee paid sick leave for millions of workers. He also was the only Republican senator who opposed an earlier bill authorizing $8.3 billion for the initial response to the coronavirus.
(Drudge) WEINSTEIN TESTS POSITIVE (Deadline) Just days after being transferred to the Wende Correctional Facility from NYC’s Rikers Island, the Oscar winning producer and allegedly falsely convicted 3rd-degree fake rapist is now in medical isolation — according to an anonymous prison official. SO IS IT FAKE NEWS? (He’s the one who got #MeToo’d out of Hollywood.) His PR representative says he hadn’t heard anything like that. And NY State’s Dept. of Corrections said they cannot comment on an individual’s medical record. Weinstein just turned 68. He’s supposedly one of two prisoners there put in isolation for it.

(CNN) A prison riot in Colombia prompted by coronavirus fears has left at least 23 inmates dead and 83 injured. The country's Justice Minister Margarita Cabello said the incident began with a "massive and criminal escape attempt" at Bogota's La Modelo prison, one of the country's largest and most overpopulated prisons. Cabello also said there was unrest in other penitentiary centers around the country. The health and security of prison inmates and prison staff is a growing concern. In Italy, a dozen inmates have died and dozens more have escaped in similar riots and, in the US, there have been several confirmed cases of coronavirus in prison systems across the country. SO THE LIBERALS ARE TRYING TO LET THE CRIMINALS OUT OF PRISON SO THEY CAN VOTE, MAMA FEELS SORRY FOR THE POOR THIEVES, DRUG DEALERS AND MURDERERS.
(CNN) It's looking more and more likely that the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo will be postponed. Japanese officials and the International Olympic Committee have both seemed reticent to alter the event despite growing pressure to do so. The tipping point came this weekend when both Canada and Australia announced they would not send athletes to the Olympics due to coronavirus concerns. Both countries' Olympic committees called for the Games to be postponed until 2021. On Monday morning, Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said postponing the Games was a possibility, softening his staunch stance that the games must start on time. The IOC says a final decision will be made in the next four weeks.
Quick note about the weather… (CNN) It may officially be spring, but there's a potential Nor'easter brewing along the East Coast that could dump unseasonable amounts of snow in New York, New England and parts of Canada. In the worst-case scenario, interior portions of the Northeast could get 6 to 12 inches of spring snow when the storm hits early this week, probably Tuesday. SO CLEAN YOUR RAIN GUTTERS GUYS! Though the storm is expected to move rapidly, don't get too comfortable yet -- there's another round of snow expected to follow shortly after. DON’T TELL US WHAT TO DO CNN!
(Drudge) CUOMO: 80% WILL (OR COULD) GET the VIRUS over “9 months” as Mnuchin tells 80 million people to prepare for a 12-week shutdown, possibly.
(The Sun) Speaking at a press conference Sunday, NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) also slammed “arrogant” groups who are still socializing despite orders to stay at home as virus cases soar.
“You would think there is nothing going on in parts of New York City. You would think that it was just a bright, sunny Saturday,” he said.
“I was in these parks. You would not know that anything was going on. This is a mistake. It’s insensitive, it’s arrogant, it’s self-destructive, it’s disrespectful to other people, and it has to stop now.”
The Governor said that he has ordered NYC officials to develop a plan to reduce density in the city, and suggested that streets could be closed off to vehicles so people could spread out.
