(CNN) Britain's Prime Minister Boris Johnson is out of the ICU and on his way to recovery after displaying persistent coronavirus symptoms. New York alone now has more confirmed coronavirus cases than any other country in the world outside of the US. Of the 466,299 total confirmed cases nationwide, about 162,000 are in New York. Models show the US will probably reach its peak death rate on Sunday. States are rolling out even more restrictions to deal with the continued threat. New Mexico is using cell phone data to see if residents are abiding by social distancing rules, Hawaii is urging persistent travelers to stay away, and Utah has ordered everyone coming into the state to disclose their travel plans. After weeks battling each other and the federal government for critical supplies, some governors across the country are discussing a multi-state consortium that would increase their purchasing power, cut the competition and quickly get supplies to the areas most in need. YEAH RIGHT THE GOVERNORS ARE NOT ABOUT THE PEOPLE. They’re quoting people like Kansas Democrat Gov. Laura Kelly (a liberal female) — NOT to be trusted.
(CNN) The Federal Reserve announced a new $2.3 trillion round of loans that include even more support for small businesses and consumers — and, for the first time, for states, cities and municipalities, too. The package includes several new 12-figure lending programs, including 500 billion in loans and $35 billion in credit protection to states, Washington DC, and large counties and cities. The loan package also expands other credit facilities already in place in an effort to provide as much relief and stability to the tumultuous economy as possible. And, the Fed may not be done yet. Economists say the central bank hasn't exhausted potential resources and may contribute even more if needed. Despite the Fed's carte blanche tactics, economists say the US is already in a recession and will remain that way for the first half of the year. I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO BELIEVE ABOUT ALL THAT.
(Drudge) DC mayor says: All shoppers at grocery stores must wear masks… That’s that black woman Muriel Bowser, a Democrat. She put out an order that no farmers’ market may operate unless issued a waiver. “Our grocery workers are on the front line of the response to this pandemic. All of us ... need to do everything in our power to keep them safe," Bowser said Thursday.
(CNN) A woman was arrested after she licked $1,800 worth of merchandise at a California grocery store near the Nevada border, authorities said. An employee at a Safeway supermarket in South Lake Tahoe told officers that Jennifer Walker, 53, put several pieces of jewelry from the store on her hands and licked them, before loading her shopping cart containing other store items, according to a news release from the city. Walker was booked into the El Dorado County Jail on a charge of felony vandalism. The store deemed all of the items in her cart unsellable due to cross-contamination, the employee said. HA! What a steal. Jewelry you can wash in hot water. AND GUESS WHAT! Last month, a woman was arrested and charged after police said she purposely coughed on $35,000 worth of food at a Pennsylvania grocery store.

(Drudge) Michigan bans travel between residences… (Detroit Free Press) After Friday, Michigan residents will no longer be able to jump in the car — or cross the street — to visit friends and relatives inside the state, or to go to the cottage Up North, with limited exceptions. That is one of the major changes in Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (WHITE FEMALE!)'s "stay home" order, issued Thursday, which also extends the expiration of the order to May 1.
Until now, travel between two Michigan residences has been permitted.
Beginning Saturday morning, that will end, except for purposes such as caring for a relative, an elderly friend, or a pet, visiting a nursing home or similar facility, attending a funeral with no more than 10 people, or complying with a court order related to child custody.
“All public and private gatherings of any size are prohibited," Whitmer said at a news conference. "People can still leave the house for outdoor activities," and outdoor "recreational activities are still permitted as long as they’re taking place outside of six feet from anyone else.”
One lady resident is angry over the closure of nurseries and garden centers. She said it is time for her to plant her peas, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots — food that she and her family will eat all winter. She can't plant if those outlets are closed. "These businesses are essential — to us," this lady Terressa Carson said. EXACTLY! ALL BUSINESSES ARE ESSENTIAL.
The new order creates a few oddities. For example, it is still OK to travel north to visit a state park, but not to go to a cottage or home, Whitmer spokeswoman Tiffany Brown confirmed. Violating the order can bring a civil fine of up to $1,000.
(Drudge) After Violent Night, Chicago Mayor Puts Curfew On Liquor Sales… (CBS Chicago) — After Tuesday night’s violence that left seven people dead and 14 injured, and the inability for some to follow the stay at home order, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot has placed a 9:00 p.m. liquor purchasing curfew starting Thursday. “Effective April 9, we are placing a 9:00 pm curfew on liquor sales in Chicago. A liquor curfew will remain in place during Illinois Governor JB Pritzker’s stay-at-home order,” Lightfoot said. This woman said that shootings (“gun violence” as the liberal media calls it) “place additional... burden on our hospitals.... Violence of any kind is never acceptable but... this is especially urgent now as our ability to protect all Chicagoans is being stretched to the breaking point. We cannot allow that to happen and [blah blah blah],” Lightfoot added. WHAT A FAILURE.
The mayor said that since the stay-at-home order went into effect, more than 2,000 dispersal orders were given in response to large gatherings. Eleven citations were given out that ranged upwards of $5,000.
She said: “We all need food and essentials and brief walks. This is addressing the issue of people going beyond that. People congregating,” Lightfoot said. “Just yesterday, the CPD issued hundreds of dispersal orders. Utterly unacceptable. It’s a burden on resources. We will take further actions.” REAL TOUGH, LADY. SMH.
Then CBS lists a bunch of SUPPOSED businesses that violated orders from the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP). TATTLE TALES!
