(Drudge) EVERYONE MASK UP! (Wash. Post via The Hour) The White House is expected to recommend everyone wear masks. U.S. coronavirus deaths topped 1,000 in a single day, supposedly. An anonymous White House official supposedly said that the guidance would be targeted to those in areas where community transmission is high. (Remember I told you the other day L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti put on a black mask on-camera and said all Angelenos should do it when they go out.)

Post claims America cemented its position as the new epicenter (sort of a dumb word IMO) of the outbreak on Thursday as it tallied a total of more than 240,000 infections and 5,800 virus-related deaths. The number of people infected worldwide passed 1 million, and the number who have died of the disease rose above 52,000.
(Drudge) MENTAL HEALTH WARNINGS (Daily Star) Dr Hans Kluge, from the evil UN’s corrupt World Health Organization (WHO), has expressed fears about the toll that being on lockdown and in isolation may have on people's quote-unquote “mental health” during the coronavirus crisis. He said, 'we are definitely worried'... (Yeah, that’ll help! Worry is great! Jesus said to worry! NOT!)
1. He said on some MSM podcast, QUOTE: "We want to avoid a pandemic of mental disorders in addition to a pandemic of Covid-19.
2. "This goes to the individual level. I see it around me, I see it in my own household, this is putting a burden on individual people, but then also collectively; the elderly people who can not see their grandchildren.

4. He continued: "My message to the young, if you can't see your grandparents, call them every single day or twice a day.
5. "Have a daily routine, stay healthy, do daily exercise. I would like to give the wonderful example of Denmark, which on national television at 9 o'clock every morning, is singing songs with the whole nation.

(Drudge) Some could wait 20 weeks to receive stimulus checks… (Speaking of messing with your mental health… j/k you shouldn’t worry about money.) (AP) A memo says: Some in the US may not get stimulus checks until August! THAT’S OK, Y’ALL CAN WAIT! OR NO? That’s for those WITHOUT Direct Deposit! AHA! You better set it up with the gov’t! Direct deposit! Does that mean they can directly pull your funds too? Hmmm…. The federal government expects to begin making payments to millions of Americans under the new stimulus law in mid-April. A memo document from the House Ways and Means Committee says the IRS will make about 60 million payments to Americans. The IRS has direct deposit information for these individuals from their 2018 or 2019 tax returns. Then, starting the week of May 4, the IRS will begin issuing paper checks to individuals. The paper checks will be issued at a rate of about 5 million per week, which means it could take up to 20 weeks to get all the checks out. That timeline would delay some checks until the week of Aug. 17. FUNNY!

(Drudge) Experts and advisers doubt 240,000 deaths estimate from White House… SO DO I! Experts said they don’t challenge the numbers’ validity but said they don’t know how the White House arrived at them. Some of President Trump’s top advisers have expressed doubts about the estimate, according to three White House officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly. There have been fierce debates inside the White House about its accuracy.

Post via CT Post) Chanel Rion (born Ryan), a correspondent for One America News Network, supposedly made a second unauthorized appearance. PSH. She’s about the only non-leftist journalist there! Wash. Post CLAIMS, without citing evidence, that: Under strict new guidelines jointly imposed last month by White House officials and the White House Correspondents' Association, which represents journalists, access to the cramped briefing room is now restricted to about 15 reporters each day, to enforce social-distancing measures amid the coronavirus crisis, and several smaller news organizations can rotate in only once every several days. Without citing evidence, Wash. Post claims: it wasn't OANN's turn on Tuesday. Nor on Wednesday, when Rion showed up in the room again - prompting the correspondents' association to vote to remove OANN from the rotation. OF COURSE THEY VOTED THAT WAY, THEY HATE CONSERVATIVES!
1. "We did this because a reporter for this outlet twice attended press briefings in contravention of this policy," the board of the WHCA (far-left org.) said in a statement late Wednesday. "We do not take this action lightly. This is a matter of public safety." THAT’S CALLED POSTURING! THIS CHANEL WOMAN IS CLEANER THAN ANY OF THEM! EXCEPT TRUMP.
2. This guy also complained: At both Tuesday and Wednesday's briefings, she stood at the back of the press room - and this, too, was a violation of the guidelines: Reporters are required to occupy a seat, with no standing in the aisles or behind the seating area.
3. YESTERDAY, this liberal Paul Farhi complained on Twitter and in another article in Wash. Post: Day two: ⁦ @ChanelRion ⁩ of OANN returns to White House briefing in defiance of correspondents’ association — and at the White House’s invitation. (Breitbart) Chanel says Stephanie Grisham invited her back after she was barred by the liberal media.
4. Paul Farhi writes in Wash. Post that: Rion and her employer, a tiny conservative cable outlet (NOT THAT TINY, TRUMP HAS PRAISED THEM!) known as OANN, appear to have gotten special permission from the White House, in violation of the guidelines. The reasons, and the source of the approval, are unclear, but OANN and Rion have a history of reporting favorably about Trump. SO IF THEY GOT SPECIAL PERMISSION FROM THE WHITE HOUSE, THEN THE WHITE HOUSE DIDN’T JOINTLY AGREE THAT SHE BROKE ANY RULES! THESE GUYS ARE SNOBS AND HYPOCRITES!
5. This guy writes: Rion herself has pushed conspiracy theories that advance his political interests, such as the unfounded allegation that officials in Ukraine secretly manipulated the 2016 election to help Hillary Clinton. Trump, in turn, has tweeted praise of OANN's reporting dozens of times.
6. BTW: OANN was founded 2013 by Robert Herring Sr., a millionaire Republican donor from San Diego who made his fortune in the circuit-board business before starting over in media. His son, Charles Herring, president of One America's parent company Herring Broadcasting, told The Post last week that the channel "is designed to report just the news" and that "we would not describe our news reporting as right-leaning." TRUE, IT’S PROBABLY TRUTH-LEANING, WHICH MEANS RIGHT.
