4/6/20 Mon. Hour 1:
Great hour. Jesse takes some calls, and Joel reads Super Chats from Friday! Jesse also answers last week’s Biblical Question (as he did Sunday as well): Is it normal to be vulnerable?

(CNN) It's not just toilet paper and ground beef people are stockpiling. Since coronavirus measures have made everything harder to get, some people are hoarding their illegal drugs of choice. THIS IS SORT OF INTERESTING: The coronavirus has reached the massive Dharavi slum outside of Mumbai, India. The slum has about 1 million residents. Spain and Italy are seeing a leveling off in their number of (new?) reported cases — they both got hit hard (Cernovich said Italy gets hit hard every flu season). The US marked its deadliest day yet from the coronavirus this weekend, with 1,344 deaths reported on Saturday. The novel coronavirus has now infected more than 1.2 million people globally, including more than 330,000 in the US, and caused more than 69,000 deaths worldwide. (There’s 7.5-8 billion people, so it’s less than .02% of the world, but it’s infected .11% of the US population)
(Drudge) The UK Prime Minister was hospitalized… (CNN) Boris Johnson was admitted to an undisclosed London hospital (supposedly as a precaution) after testing positive for the virus two weeks ago — 10 days specifically. (AP) he is still suffering symptoms. He’s 55. In a message Friday, a flushed and red-eyed Johnson said he said he was feeling better but still had a fever. He will continue to lead the British government while under medical supervision.
(CNN) White House officials and medical experts are at odds over President Trump's endorsement of unproven coronavirus treatments. Trump has repeatedly recommended hydroxychloroquine, the anti-malaria drug, and azithromycin, a common antibiotic, despite warnings from researchers that neither drug has been proven to treat or prevent someone from contracting Covid-19. This rift reportedly caused a heated disagreement in the Situation Room this weekend, with several aides and outside advisers siding with Trump. While researchers are conducting tests with hydroxychloroquine, doctors say it's too early to be sure of its efficacy, and have warned its side effects could be dangerous to otherwise healthy individuals.
(Drudge) BIRX WARNS DO NOT GO TO GROCERY STORES… WHAT? I’m NOT LISTENING TO HER! The RINO outlet WSJ reported: Health officials warned Americans to brace for a pivotal week in the coronavirus pandemic, as the number of new cases around the world jumped by more than 100,000 in a single day for the first time, with a third of them coming from the U.S. Some of the hardest-hit cities, including New York, Detroit and New Orleans, are expected to see (new?) infections peak in the coming days, new models suggested.
(Drudge) Louisiana church holds services, defying stay-at-home order… (Reuters) - The pastor of the Life Tabernacle Church near Baton Rouge held services on Sunday, telling worshippers they had “nothing to fear but fear itself.” That’s Pastor Tony Spell, who was arrested last week for holding services. It’s three weeks after the state’s governor, John Bel Edwards (Democrat BTW), banned gatherings of 10 people or more. Hundreds of worshippers, about half of them black and half white, converged on the church, many arriving in 26 buses sent to pick them up. Everyone but immediate family members kept a social distance of at least six feet, a lawyer for the pastor said. HA! “They would rather come to church and worship like free people than live like prisoners in their homes,” Spell told reporters. He reportedly referenced depression and anxiety of people forced to stay at home. Other Christians around the country defied rules and attended Palm Sunday Church services.
Joe Long, a civil rights lawyer and spokesman for Spell, said he believed the governor’s March 22 order violates U.S. constitutional rights to freedom of religion and to peaceably assemble, noting 16 states have religious exemptions to stay-at-home orders.
“We believe the governor is wrong. And we look forward to proving our case in court,” said Long, who said he is preparing a lawsuit against Edwards.
4/6/20 Mon. Hour 2:
Jesse’s experts answer the Biblical Question: What did Jesus mean when he said, “What you do to the least of my brothers you do to me”?
Great calls including Ms Dani from Niagara Falls, NY. Her snake-in-the-grass boyfriend called last week.
Clip: Trump answers why he won’t give illegals a stimulus check.
Yude from NC, first-time caller, has been listening to Jesse for years. He’s

(CNN) Kobe Bryant headlines the latest NBA Hall of Fame class. Then CNN writes, without citing evidence: The legend will live forever. FAKE NEWS! HE DEAD! It’s not good to be dead. But Kobe was posthumously inducted into the National Basketball Association Hall of Fame. A little late, TBH. He should’ve been inducted his first year playing! Everyone knew he was good.
(CNN) The meeting between Saudi Arabia, Russia and members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (BETTER KNOWN AS OPEC) has been postponed to April 9, sending an optimistic oil market into a bit of a backslide. Saudi Arabia and Russia have been locked in an epic price war since early March when the OPEC alliance cracked, flooding the oil market with cheap crude just as the coronavirus pandemic poked a giant hole in international demand. Trump says he's optimistic the meeting, which will be held virtually, will end the price war and rebalance the market. Meanwhile, global stocks surged early Monday after hard-hit areas like Italy, Spain and New York City reported drops in coronavirus deaths.
(CNN) President Trump is catching heat for his recent firing of Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson. Atkinson was the one who told Congress about the whistleblower complaint that led to Trump's impeachment. This little detail has led several people, including Atkinson, to suspect that his ousting was politically motivated — sounds more like Atkinson is the politically motivated one. Even some Republicans (RINOs, no doubt) have said Atkinson's firing requires more of an explanation. Trump defended his decision by saying the inspector general "did a terrible job" and "took a fake report and gave it to Congress." DON’T THESE PEOPLE SERVE AT THE PLEASURE OF THE PRESIDENT? HE CAN FIRE THEM FOR ANY REASON! Atkinson is one of several officials involved in the impeachment trial who have since been removed or reassigned from their posts. GOOD.
CNN is trying to say you should reconsider trying to conceive in quarantine. They say: Plus, it will be pretty awkward to explain to your future child. WHY DO YOU HAVE TO EXPLAIN? This idiot Ryan Prior of CNN writes that with US Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin warning of dire scenarios and a possible 20% unemployment rate, couples whose jobs are vulnerable in this economy are likely to think again about kicking off their parenting journeys this spring. He claims: Then there's the possibility of more couples splitting up. One marriage registry official in China said he saw a quarantine-related spike in divorces, showing that more time in closed quarters may be doing some couples more harm than good. He also writes: the pandemic is stressful for couples (HE MEANS WOMEN): "libido is down and menstrual cycles may be off," some female Dr. Renee Wellenstein said. "It may not be possible to conceive due to this." But this woman doesn’t WANT people having babies: Wellenstein said she would "absolutely not" advise anyone to get pregnant now, due to the uncertainty swirling around Covid-19. "You can push off conceiving and getting pregnant," she said. WHAT AN EVIL WOMAN! She says for women who are already pregnant, each trip to the hospital during the pandemic carries additional risk. SO DON’T GO TO THE HOSPITAL! (I cover more of this on The Hake Report.)
