IN CONGRESS, JULY 4, 1776
The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America
When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
— That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,
— That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.
But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.
— Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.

...We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends. [Reminds me of Trump.]
We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these united Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States, that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do.
— And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.

President's Rushmore trip draws real and figurative fireworks…
(Drudge / far-left AP) President Donald Trump will begin his Independence Day weekend on Friday with a patriotic display of fireworks at Mount Rushmore before a crowd of thousands. Trump is expected to speak at the event, which has issued 7,500 tickets to watch fireworks that he previewed on Thursday as a “display like few people have seen.”
The South Dakota state Republican Party selling T-shirts that feature Trump on the memorial alongside George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt.
Republican Gov. Kristi Noem, a Trump ally, has said social distancing won’t be required during the event and masks will be optional.
There are some radical left anti-white groups complaining, representing the victim-minded, useful idiot segment of American Indian tribes. That includes Harold Frazier, chairman of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, and apparently Chase Iron Eyes, a spokesman for the Oglala Sioux president.
WEEKEND: Activists prepare to storm DC in Independence Day protests…
Be alert, guys! (Drudge / Wash. Examiner) These people want to take down the Emancipation Memorial with Abraham Lincoln standing over a kneeling slave whom he’s freeing. Glenn Foster is the fake leader of the collective called Freedom Neighborhood (a radical anti-American group that claimed they’d topple the monument last week).
This apparent communist Glenn Foster celebrated the fact that on Tuesday the “Boston Arts Commission” voted to remove an identical copy of the statue, which depicts President Abraham Lincoln freeing the slave Archer Alexander, from public display. SMH.
D.C. politician Shadow Rep. Eleanor Holmes Norton (SHE BLACK) on Thursday introduced legislation to have the statue removed from the park and placed in a museum. D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser (ALSO BLACK) said last week that she would be open to having a "reasonable conversation" about the statue’s future. RIDICULOUS.
Local historian Nathan Richardson (BLACK DUDE), who, dressed as the abolitionist Frederick Douglass, defended the statue last week, said he plans to show up again on Friday. Richardson said he will recite excerpts from Douglass’s landmark 1852 speech “What to the Slave is the Fourth of July.” Douglass famously dedicated the statue in the presence of President Ulysses S. Grant.

D.C. tour guide Don Folden said that he is prepared to “fight alone to save this statue.”
Christian Tabash, who on Wednesday led an anti-Israel march on the Capitol — he said the Palestinian movement is "intrinsically tied to Black Lives Matter" (Wash. Examiner) — he said that the reason for the turnout on July 4 is to make a point about the illegitimacy of the American founding. SEE? AMERICA-HATERS. KICK HIM OUT! ISN’T THIS TREASON?
“What is Independence Day to black folks? What was Independence Day to honestly anyone but the white economic elite on that day?” Tabash asked, recalling July 4, 1776. “Poor folks and women couldn’t even vote. It’s a hoax.” SO WHAT! HE’S THE HOAX! What does he care about blacks or women, who’ve never had it so good (physically, not spiritually) as here.
