Man shot outside White House, Trump evacuated from press conference…
(Drudge / AFP via Yahoo News) A 51-year-old male approached a Secret Service officer standing at the corner of 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, one block from the White House, according to Tom Sullivan, the chief of the Secret Service Uniformed Division.
The suspect told the officer he had a weapon and ran "aggressively" towards him, drawing what appeared to be a handgun out of his clothes, Sullivan said in a statement that was broadcast on Twitter.
He then assumed a "shooter's stance" as if he intended to fire, whereupon the Secret Service officer shot him in the torso, Sullivan added.
Officers on the scene administered first aid, and emergency medical services were called. Both the suspect and the officer were taken to hospital.
As the president was speaking to reporters in the White House briefing room, a Secret Service bodyguard abruptly approached him and interrupted, saying in a quiet voice, "Sir, could you please come with me?"
Trump and staff members left. Doors to the briefing room, still filled with journalists, were locked.
Outside, black-clad Secret Service agents with automatic rifles could be seen rushing across the lawn and took up positions behind trees. According to Fox News, whose camera team was outside, two shots were heard.
Minutes later, Trump reappeared at the press conference and announced that someone had been shot by the Secret Service outside the White House grounds.
"Law enforcement shot someone, it seems to be the suspect. And the suspect is on the way to the hospital," he said.
Rattled?
Trump said, "It might not have had anything to do with me."
Returning to the podium after the disruption, Trump appeared calm.
He resumed his criticism of Democrats and praise for his handling of the coronavirus crisis, which polls show two-thirds of Americans believe he has quote-unquote “botched” — because that’s the word the far-left anti-American liberal media tells them.
Questioned by a female reporter on whether the security incident had rattled him, Trump answered: "I don't know, do I seem rattled?"
"It's unfortunate that this is the world, but the world's always been a dangerous place," he said.
Trump praised the Secret Service as "fantastic people, the best of the best."
"I feel very safe with Secret Service," he said. "A lot of terrific-looking people ready to go if something was necessary."
ART OF THE DEAL: Nearly ALL major moves by admin have been EXECUTIVE ORDERS…
WANT SOMETHING DONE RIGHT? YOU GOTTA DO IT YOURSELF.
The extremist outlet Wash. Post (bought by anti-American Amazon owner Jeff Bezos) [Toluse Olorunnipa, and Ashley Parker] wrote a piece criticizing Trump’s actions as “legally dubious” — never mind Obama’s insane executive orders and refusal to work with Congress, his infamous “pen and a phone” line, his unconstitutional DACA order (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) keeping illegal alien criminals here; he even tried DAPA (Deferred Action for Parents of Anchor Babies). JLP called Obama a dictator at one point.
Never Trumper Ben Sasse Tells Trump 'America Doesn't Have Kings'...
Ben Sasse is the RINO who called Trump’s executive order “unconstitutional slop.” Ben referenced Obama’s unconstitutional actions, pretending to be fair to both sides.
Trump tweeted: “RINO Ben Sasse, who needed my support and endorsement in order to get the Republican nomination for Senate from the GREAT State of Nebraska, has, now that he’s got it (Thank you President T), gone rogue, again. This foolishness plays right into the hands of the Radical Left Dems!” Trump wrote in a Monday morning tweet, branding Sasse as a “Republican in Name Only” or RINO.
08/11/20 Tue. Hour 2
GUEST: Lee Podles, a Christian writer who said that anger is good for giving you the energy to fight evil. JLP and he have a great conversation about the basics of Christianity, peace, hate, and life.
Other great calls.

Trump Mulls Blocking Infected Americans From Returning to the USA…
That’s according to the Failing New York Slimes (via DNYUZ). They accuse Trump of an assault on immigration and call Stephen Miller the architect of Trump’s assault on immigration. NY Times are commies. They hate America. They’re an enemy of America, as the president rightly pointed out.
They reference lawsuits and corrupt liberal judges who also undermine national security.
Number Of People Dying Alone In Hospitals Skyrockets…
THANKS, DEMOCRATS!
(Drudge / Study Finds) Due to quarantine restrictions during the pandemic, many people have not been able to visit family members in U.S. hospitals.
Patients with COVID-19 this year are 12 times more likely to die in a medical facility than patients dying of any cause in 2018. WHO KNOWS WHETHER THEY’RE TELLING THE TRUTH.
From Feb. 1 through May 23, a staggering 91 percent of all COVID-19 deaths occurred in a medical facility or nursing home. Just 5.2 percent of Americans with the virus died at home. Under two percent passed away in hospice care.
This is a seismic shift from where people were passing just two years ago. During the same period in 2018, only 35.7 percent of Americans dying from all causes died in a hospital. Home deaths nearly equaled this total, with 31.1 percent of people spending their last moments in their residence. HMMM! MAYBE THEY’RE INFLATING THE NUMBERS OR MAKING THINGS WORSE!
Northwestern University’s Dr. Sadiya Khan put out a media release about this. These “experts” want to prevent people from dying alone. The Journal of the American Geriatrics Society wants face-to-face phone technology in every room, just as they have a landline in every room, to allow families to see each other — as a supposedly important part of end-of-life care.
New York's true nursing home death toll cloaked in secrecy…
WHOA. (Drudge / AP) One place officially, on-paper, has had 4 deaths in its 126-bed facility, but the foreigner administrator says it’s really 21 dead, most transported to hospitals before they succumbed.
New York’s coronavirus death toll in nursing homes, already among the highest in the nation, could actually be a significant undercount. Unlike every other state with major outbreaks, New York only counts residents who died on nursing home property and not those who were transported to hospitals and died there.
That statistic could add thousands to the state’s official care home death toll of just over 6,600. But so far the administration of Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo has refused to divulge the number, leading to speculation the state is manipulating the figures to make it appear it is doing a better than other states and to make a tragic situation less dire. HMM.
“That’s a problem, bro,” state Sen. Gustavo Rivera, a Democrat, told New York Health Commissioner Howard Zucker during a legislative hearing on nursing homes earlier this month. “It seems, sir, that in this case you are choosing to define it differently so that you can look better.” WHO KNOWS, IT’S DEMOCRATS VS DEMOCRATS, REPORTED BY THE FAR-LEFT DEMOCRATS IN AP.
Cuomo put covid patients in nursing homes
Gov. Cuomo is pretending his nursing home deaths are only 20% of total corona deaths. LYYYING! Other states nearby are double or triple that. His controversial March 25 order to send recovering COVID-19 patients from hospitals into nursing homes — which was designed to free up hospital bed space at the height of the pandemic — has drawn withering criticism from relatives and patient advocates who contend it accelerated nursing home outbreaks.
Cuomo reversed the order under pressure in early May. And his health department later released an internal report that concluded asymptomatic nursing home staffers were the real spreaders of the virus, not the 6,300 recovering patients released from hospitals into nursing homes.
But epidemiologists and academics derided the study for a flawed methodology that sidestepped key questions and relied on selective stats, including the state’s official death toll figures.
“We’re trying to find out what worked and what didn’t work and that means trying to find patterns,” said Bill Hammond, who works on health policy for the nonprofit Empire Center think tank. “You can’t do that if you have the wrong data.”
