(Extreme-left Twitter) Four White House staffers resign following violence at US Capitol
They handed in their resignations after a pro-Trump group of mostly peaceful protestors (probably 99% peaceful) invaded the US Capitol in Washington, DC, a tiny minority of them engaging in violence against cops, destruction of property, breaking windows, tearing down barriers, and spewing threats against elected officials, according to reporter Elijah Schaeffer.
(Far-left Bloomberg) Deputy National Security Adviser Matt Pottinger (former journalist and so-called Marine whose father is a former banker and phony politician who supported same-sex marriage in an amicus brief to the Supreme Court) resigned on Wednesday afternoon. The First Lady's Chief of Staff, Stephanie Grisham, White House Social Secretary Rickie Niceta (an Italian female event planner) and Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Matthews all quit on Wednesday as well. In a statement, Sarah Matthews said she was "deeply disturbed by what I saw today" and emphasized the importance of "a peaceful transfer of power." GOOD RIDDANCE.

Trump Promises ‘Orderly Transition’ After Biden Certified as President-Elect
The Epoch Times quotes the president: “Even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts bear me out, nevertheless there will be an orderly transition on January 20th. I have always said we would continue our fight to ensure that only legal votes were counted,” Trump said in a statement.
“While this represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history, it’s only the beginning of our fight to Make America Great Again!”

Fake Congress SO-CALLED certified Biden as QUOTE-UNQUOTE “president-elect” around 3:45 a.m.
After Pence refused to contest the electors, despite President Trump’s wishes, the joint session to count votes was interrupted by protesters who got out-of-control, leading to a long delay.
Biden received 306 electoral votes to Trump’s 232.

Pence, Congress Ignored Alternative Slates of Electors During Joint Session
(The Epoch Times) Pence only read off one certificate, for Biden, for the seven states in question: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, New Mexico, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
Before reading each state’s certificate, Pence asked the joint session if there were objections. He would later add a wordy statement about the pro-Biden votes being the only certificate and he’s advised by “the parliamentarians.”

The Epoch Times quotes Ron Johnson: “I sincerely hope this debate will serve as a wake-up call to state legislatures to recognize the legitimacy of these concerns, fully investigate the irregularities in their states, reassert their authority over federal elections, and establish controls to restore confidence in our election system. The solution lies in the states, not with the federal government,” Johnson said in a press release.
“Those who have lost confidence are not crazy. They are patriots who dearly love America and are alarmed by what they have witnessed over the last four years: a thoroughly corrupt FBI investigation of a duly elected president; a grossly biased media that has chosen sides and uses its power to interfere in our politics to a far greater extent than any foreign entity could ever hope to achieve; an increasingly powerful social media that censors news and conservative voices; and courts and election officials that usurp the constitutional authority of state legislatures in setting the times, places, and manner of holding elections,” he said.
NOTE: That all sounds good but didn’t he change his mind and NOT contest the electors? YEAH! HE DID! Two days ago (Fox News) Sen. Ron Johnson was to challenge the 2020 election results: ‘We can’t turn a blind eye’ …. Johnson said, "What we’re saying is, let’s delay accepting a particular state’s electors until we actually investigate what the issues are in that particular state."

Pence Chief of Staff Blocked From Entering White House Grounds: Report
(The Epoch Times) Vice President Mike Pence’s chief of staff Marc Short has claimed that he was denied entry back on White House grounds on Wednesday night amid rising tensions between President Donald Trump and Pence, supposedly.
Short reportedly told Real Clear Politics that he is not allowed back into the White House because the president is “blaming him” for his advice to Pence.
The vice president had earlier said that he lacked the authority to reject disputed electoral votes under the U.S. Constitution, prompting Trump to say that Pence didn’t have the courage to do what was right.
“Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify,” Trump wrote on Twitter Wednesday. “USA demands the truth!” (but “This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules.” So Twitter deleted it. )
