(Radical homosexual magazine Outfront reported) In a memo from July 2020, former Secretary of Defense Mark Esper (WHO UNDERMINED THE REAL PRESIDENT TRUMP) released a list of flags permitted to be displayed at U.S. military bases. Missing from the list was the LGBTQ pride flag, which Esper compared to the confederate flag (WHICH IS OBVIOUSLY AN ABSOLUTE INSULT TO SOUTHERN STATES AND TO AMERICA). Prior to the ban, embassies raised the flag during pride month on the official embassy flagpole.
During the hearing, Blinken confirmed that he plans to appoint an envoy for the Human Rights of LGBTQ persons, a position created by Barack Obama in 2015 that wasn’t filled during the Trump presidency.
(Breitbart) Blinken claimed violence against homosexuals increased while Trump was in office.
“We’ve seen violence directed against LGBTQI [no A?] people around the world increase,” Blinken said. “And so, I think the United States...should be...standing up for...the rights of LGBTQI people…. Raising the pride flag is one way to outright show LGBTQ solidarity.” (WHAT ABOUT I?)
“Biden is the first U.S. president to openly embrace a full range of queer rights, including transgender equality,” Outfront magazine reported.

Thousands Rally at Michigan Capitol Against Gretchen Whitmer Orders
(Breitbart) Thousands of student athletes, coaches, parents, and organizers rallied at the Michigan Capitol on Saturday for the ability to play school sports.
Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) has banned winter contact sports, including basketball, hockey, wrestling, and competitive cheer, until “at least” February 21. MEAN MAMA.
Let Them Play, a group organized by mother Jayme McElvany, organized the rally. Nice.
Chicago Mayor Insists on Reopening Classrooms as Potential Teachers Union Strike Looms
(Epoch Times) Lori Lightfoot insists that public school teachers resume in-person learning, the EVIL city officials trying to reach a deal with the EVERY BIT AS EVIL Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) to reopen schools that have been closed since last spring.
The Chicago Public Schools district “serves” [or rather EXPLOITS] over 355,000 students — they were aiming to reopen K-8 schools TODAY (Mon, Feb. 1) for about 71,000 children who wish to learn in person — a phased-in school reopening plan. The union-backed teachers, citing “safety concerns” due to the ongoing CCP (Chinese Communist...) virus, refuse to teach classes inside school buildings and have threatened to go on strike. OH LORD RME. HIRE SCABS!
Dozens of Protesters Shut Down Traffic Into Vaccine Fest at Dodger Stadium
(The Internet) About 50 [mostly peaceful] protesters have effectively shut down a vaccine site at Dodger Stadium by inhibiting traffic into the parking lot, where people are going to get injected with the strange chemical concoction.
(BBC) It was closed for an hour. Protesters told people to “turn back”, while one man shouted: “You’re a lab rat”, the Los Angeles Times reported.
“This is completely wrong,” German Jaquez, who had been waiting for a jab, told the Times.
“I’ve been waiting for weeks to get an appointment. I am a dentist; I am taking a big risk being around patients. I want to be safe for my patients and for my family. The vaccine is the only way to beat the virus.”

Human Smuggling On Texas Border Thwarted
The effort led to the arrest of multiple migrants and a human smuggler.
(Breitbart) Laredo South Station [border] agents reacted to information about a suspicious vehicle in a residential neighborhood near the Rio Grande during the morning of January 26. As the agents approached the area, the driver fled, prompting agents to call for an Air and Marine Operation aircrew to support the pursuit.
The pursuit continued through multiple neighborhoods while the helicopter followed. The aircrew advised Border Patrol agents that the human smuggling vehicle (COYOTE?) dropped off multiple subjects. Agents rounded up the suspected illegal aliens.
A Texas trooper joined the pursuit on Highway 83 toward downtown Laredo. A U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer deployed tire deflation devices. The driver of the smuggling vehicle hit spike strips and stopped. The smuggler was a “US Citizen.”
A passenger and the suspected illegals were Mexican nationals.

Shootouts, Robberies Plague Mex Border City
(Breitbart) Shootouts, carjackings, armed robberies, and other violent crimes plague the Mexican border city of Reynosa as two rival factions of the Gulf Cartel fight for control. The violence in the region continues despite claims by government officials of a decrease in crime.
The border city of Reynosa is immediately south of the border from the Pharr, McAllen, Mission, Hidalgo area in South Texas. It is considered one of the busiest commercial land ports in the nation.
Despite the economic impact caused by international factories, in recent years the region has seen an ongoing number of fierce shootouts and high-impact crimes as rival factions of the Gulf Cartel fight for lucrative smuggling corridors into Texas.
The most recent shootout took place on Saturday when authorities clashed with cartel gunmen on the southside. No arrests, but authorities seized one SUV with weapons inside. Those clashes now an almost daily occurrence in Reynosa — particularly during early morning hours or late at night in city outskirts.

Trump Names New Lead Lawyers for Impeachment Defense Team

(Epoch Times) Former President Donald Trump on Sunday named two attorneys who will lead his impeachment defense legal team.
The two lawyers who will represent the former president in the upcoming Senate trial are David Schoen, an attorney from Alabama, and Bruce Castor Jr., a former prosecutor in Pennsylvania.
This comes a day after media reports, citing anonymous sources, said an earlier group of attorneys from South Carolina were no longer participating in the defense.
South Carolina-based lawyer Butch Bowers had previously been tapped to lead the president’s legal team but parted ways over differing opinions on the direction of the defense arguments, the reports said. Other lawyers on the team who also left were Deborah Barbier and former federal prosecutors Greg Harris, Johnny Gasser, and Josh Howard.
The Epoch Times reached out to the lawyers for confirmation about their departure.
Jason Miller, a Trump adviser, confirmed the reports of a reshuffle on Saturday evening, saying that the “final decision on our legal team” had not yet been made.
On Sunday, Trump’s office released a statement saying that Schoen and Castor would now lead the team, and that Schoen had already been working with Trump and other advisors in preparing for the upcoming trial.
“It is an honor to represent the 45th President, Donald J. Trump, and the United States Constitution,” Schoen said in the statement.
