They’re going after Trump endlessly
(CNN) Our Real President Donald Trump has been OF COURSE been acquitted at his SECOND FAKE impeachment trial over the weekend, but his legal persecution is ongoing. No doubt corrupt prosecutors in Georgia are conducting criminal investigations into his attempts to overturn the state's election results, while apparently politically-motivated prosecutors in New York are looking into his business dealings. Trump is also facing civil state inquiries and defamation lawsuits by two evil women accusing him of sexual assault (with no evidence).
Covid scare
(CNN) COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations are declining sharply in the US (NOW THAT BIDEN'S IN). But the control freaks at CNN and in the Democrat Party don’t want to let you be free.
More than 38 million Americans so far have received at least their first vaccine dose, but they say vaccinations aren't actually what's driving case numbers down. Instead, one "expert" says, it's SUPPOSEDLY tried-and-true "safety measures" that's behind the decline: wearing masks, physical distancing, not traveling and not congregating with others indoors (SO THEY CLAIM). It's especially important those behaviors continue: Vaccinations won't be widely available to most Americans until late spring or summer. New coronavirus variants are popping up. And a troubling batch of mutations have been found in the US.
ALSO: Investigators from the World Health Organization (WHO) have found signs that the original coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan in December 2019 was much wider than previously thought. DUH!
CDC: Schools Can Reopen Safely Amid COVID-19 Pandemic
(The Epoch Times) “Evidence suggests that many K-12 schools that have strictly implemented mitigation strategies have been able to safely open for in-person instruction and remain open,” the LIBERAL Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) wrote. But they want masks on students and teachers (cringe!), wash your hands, and keep facilities clean.
“It is critical for schools to open as safely and as soon as possible, and remain open, to achieve the benefits of in-person learning and key support services.” SEE? BUT I DON’T TRUST THEM.
The official guidance reiterated what CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said last week: that teachers do not need to get a COVID-19 vaccine to return to the classroom. Still, teachers should be vaccinated as soon as the supply allows.
It's cold out
(CNN) Nearly 170 million people -- about half of Americans -- are under winter weather advisories, with icy roads, power outages and dangerously low temperatures threatening to snarl traffic and paralyze cities from coast to coast. SO MUCH FOR GLOBAL WARMING, AMIRIGHT?
The cold is so widespread that you could travel nearly 2,000 miles from the Rio Grande on the Mexican border to the St. Lawrence River on the Canadian border entirely in winter storm warnings or watches. At least 11 people in the heartland have died in weather-related vehicle accidents since cold temperatures took hold. More than two million customers were without power as of this morning, and emergency declarations have been issued in at least seven states. DANG!
In case you care
(CNN) Prince Harry and mixed-race black feminist Meghan Markle are expecting a new baby. Their first was a boy named Archie.
BTW:
(CNN) Bitcoin hit a record $49,714.66 on Sunday, before it pulled back in price a bit. The digital currency has more than doubled in value in the last three months.

Distrust among the liberals
De Blasio Calls for 'Full Accounting' of Cuomo's Alleged Nursing Home Death Cover-Up
(The Epoch Times) The alleged coverup of New York’s nursing home deaths was first reported by the New York Post. In an audio recording obtained by the Post, Melissa DeRosa, Cuomo’s chief of staff, told a small group of Democrat lawmakers that the governor’s office “basically froze” when they were asked by the U.S. Department of Justice to turn in the data, because they worried that then-President Donald Trump would use the information as a “giant political football” against them.
“[President Trump] starts tweeting that we killed everyone in nursing homes,” DeRosa said during the private call, according to the NY Post. “He starts going after [New Jersey Gov. Phil] Murphy, starts going after [California Gov. Gavin] Newsom, starts going after [Michigan Gov.] Gretchen Whitmer.”
Bill de Blasio’s reaction
So Bill De Blasio, who has frequently been at odds with Cuomo over the handling of the CCP virus pandemic, said the Post’s report is “really disturbing” and “very troubling.” He was on a radio show on Friday. He paid lip service about making sure it doesn’t happen again.
The mayor’s comments came as DeRosa sought to clarify her remarks, saying in a statement that the governor’s office was “comprehensive and transparent” in its responses to the Justice Department.
“I was explaining that when we received the DOJ inquiry, we needed to temporarily set aside the Legislature’s request to deal with the federal request first,” she claimed. “As I said on a call with legislators, we could not fulfill their request as quickly as anyone would have liked. But we are committed to being better partners going forward as we share the same goal of keeping New Yorkers as healthy as possible during the pandemic.”
Background
In August 2020, the Justice Department requested governors of states which had “issued COVID-19 orders that may have resulted in deaths of elderly nursing home residents,” namely Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, to turn over data on deaths in those long-term care facilities. Cuomo, joined by Gretchen Whitmer, pushed back against those inquiries, arguing in a joint statement that they were but a “nakedly partisan deflection” targeting states run by Democrats.
UK Says It Shares US Concerns Over WHO COVID-19 Mission to China
(The Epoch Times) British foreign minister Dominic Raab said on Feb. 14 that he shared concerns about the level of access given to a World Health Organization COVID-19 fact-finding mission to China, echoing criticism from the United States.
The White House on Feb. 13 called on China to make available data from the earliest days of the novel coronavirus outbreak, saying it had “deep concerns” about the way the findings of the WHO’s COVID-19 report were communicated.
Raab said: “We do share concerns that they get full cooperation and they get the answers they need, and so we’ll be pushing for it to have full access….”
John Watson, an epidemiologist on the WHO team, said they got a “great deal” of info from China.
On Feb. 13, Dominic Dwyer, an Australian infectious diseases expert, who is also a member of the team, said China had refused access to all the data requested.
