Decent Hake notes from JLP…
JLP Hr 1 Bible Thumper Thursday: All for the thrill of it
People stop Jesse on the street about it! MONOLOGUE: You can look under the bed — it’s right there, but you won’t. People would rather hurt others than look at themselves. It’s done, the answer is within you, but you won’t look! All for the thrill of it.
Everybody blames somebody else, another culture. Overcome emotions, feelings, this mess. It’s evil. God is not about thrills — he’s a dispassionate God. Satan is about thrills. It’s okay to be lonely and have a thrill, say the expert. The thrill of loneliness — it’s just an idea! Another false perception of life. Yet most love their loneliness!
Somebody lied to you when they said emotions are good. You could sell bottles of loneliness, and become a millionaire overnight.
ABC: Meta-Gallup survey, 142 countries: How lonely you feel? 1 in 4, very or fairly lonely. Vivek Murthy / HHS: 85-pg advisory, loneliness, new public health epidemic. Advice… Intellectual people are evil. Send him back to India; he’s a Cherokee. Knowledge is evil, it keeps you in hell; they have no understanding.
Denny in Bulgaria answers the BQ: To whom or what are you loyal, and why? // Joe in Maine (1st-timer) on mass shooter… who’d gotten “help” for “mental health,” covering up evil. (Great call!) Everyone’s angry response, they’re living in the same hell! // Super Chats from yesterday… more later! //
JLP Hr 2 Callers: a Drunk, a Bible Thumper
(Minor audio popping issue, JLP asks Hake if he’s sleepy or high) // Jason in Canada asks how he can get better if he knows in his heart he can’t do it. He doesn’t stick with prayer, although he said he tried. He’s drunk… Call for counseling, before you take your first drink. // Kevin in NY asks if Bible thumping is a bad thing. Yes. It’s evil. He says God’s protected him from becoming puffed up as a Bible thumper. He compares JLP and the crew to John the Baptist, whom people thought was the Messiah.
The Fallen State with Kosha Dillz, Jewish rapper // S/O Justice, story of the Woman at the Well and Jesus. // Back to Kevin in NY If you hold onto knowledge, you’ll never get understanding. // Claudia in MT (1st-timer) from Sweden, talks about returning to the Father, cringing at sharing it, etc. AMAZIN’ CONVERSATION
JLP Hr 3
Brief monologue: Pay attention to yourself, and see the thrill you get from evil. When you judge yourself, that’s evil. When you quote the scriptures and think you’re good, that’s evil. When you pretend you love everybody, that’s evil. When you won’t lay your weapon down, because you want the thrill, that's evil. In their blindness, they say Jesus was angry.
Story from Wikipedia of a serial killer in Santa Cruz, CA, of “coeds” (women). The man hated his mother who was very matriarchal; he killed his mother “out of love,” he said. Not saying it to be funny or controversial. Liver and onions.
Another example of evil: Government sentences Owen Shroyer to 60 days in prison, in solitary confinement. (Sorry, clip issue for audio podcast / live audio feed) Owen says he’ll try to improve himself, and become a better person. Overcome evil with good. Don’t get angry or bitter. // The “if” poem //
Super Chats and calls… John in TX “forgave” his mother but doesn’t know what she did, and he doesn’t want to cause family issues.

Mass murder in Maine! // Colorado gone ridiculous against Trump! // Israel-Palestine war drama continues //
Maine mass murder!
(CNN & theSkimm Thu. 10/26/23) Mass murder in Lewiston, Maine! Last night, police said at least 16 died after two mass shootings, at a bowling alley and at a restaurant-bar, in Lewiston — Maine’s second-largest city (never heard of it! 36 miles north of Portland, Maine) — at least 50, maybe 60 others injured. There was a manhunt for a 40-year-old male “person of interest,” considered “armed and dangerous.” A state bulletin called him a firearms instructor, believed a member of the Army Reserve. Police urged residents in Lewiston and two neighboring towns to shelter in place and lock their doors.
The White House stated Biden offered “full federal support in the wake of this horrific attack.” Public schools closed in Lewiston today. Sen. Susan Collins (RINO-ME) stated, “our state mourns.” Sen. Angus King (I-ME) stated he’s “deeply sad for the city of Lewiston.”
The US has seen more than 500 mass shootings this year, for your “gun violence” propaganda.

Persecution of the President (and the American People)
(CNN not theSkimm Thu. 10/26/23) An unprecedented trial will begin in Colorado next week to determine if former President Donald Trump is disqualified from returning to the White House because of his role in the January 6, 2021, insurrection. Several pending lawsuits are trying to derail his candidacy based on the 14th Amendment, which says US officials who take an oath to uphold the Constitution are disqualified from future office if they “engaged in insurrection” or have “given aid or comfort” to insurrectionists.
Israel-Palestine drama
(CNN? & theSkimm Thu. 10/26/23) The war is entering its 20th day.
Israel is calling for United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres to resign after he said Hamas’s deadly October 7th terror attack “did not happen in a vacuum.” Israel said it won’t be issuing any more visas to UN officials, even as the UN has played a role in mediating the dispute between Israelis and Palestinians.
Al Jazeera said the wife, son, daughter, and grandson of one of its correspondents, Wael al-Dahdouh, in Gaza were killed during an Israeli airstrike. The news comes as Secretary of State Antony Blinken has reportedly asked the Qatari government, which funds the news outlet, to pull back Al Jazeera’s coverage of the conflict, saying it could further inflame tensions in the region.
CNN: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Wednesday a ground incursion into Gaza will take place and airstrikes were “just the beginning.” The humanitarian crisis reaches a critical point in Gaza, with “life-saving fuel” (Wait I thought fuel killed the planet) on the verge of running out and health services crippled.
US military advisers urged Israel to avoid an all-out ground assault in Gaza; pressure building on the “international community” to get Israel to allow desperately needed aid into the besieged enclave. A growing number of countries are also advocating for a “humanitarian pause” in fighting, but as Israel ramps up its airstrikes, there are fears the crisis could escalate further.

New House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) seems lame but got Trump’s O.K. // Scholastic caves to LGBT BLM agenda, but it’s not enough! // Japan has trans mess too //
Lame-o House Speaker!
(CNN & theSkimm Thu. 10/26/23) Who’s stepping up: House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA). Yesterday, the lesser-known lawmaker was catapulted into stardom after Republicans unanimously voted for the Louisiana Republican to become the House’s 56th speaker (220 votes, no Republican defections). The House GOP kept rejecting nominees: Reps. Tom Emmer (R-MN), Jim Jordan (R-OH), Steve Scalise (R-LA). Now, three weeks after ousting Rep. Kevin McCarthy, theSkimm calls Johnson a “deep conservative” with President Trump’s blessing. Rep. Mike Johnson wanted to overturn the 2020 election results, opposed same-sex marriage, and backed nationwide abortion restrictions.
I think he’s already supported the U.S. meddling in the Middle East (hopefully not Ukraine? idk); unfortunately I doubt we’ll get a government shutdown.
Scholastic kissing up to evil
(CNN & theSkimm Thu. 10/26/23) Evil weak Scholastic. Yesterday, the “educational company” ended a policy that would've allowed schools to opt in or out of selling a collection of books focused on topics like race and dirty sexuality. Scholastic holds about 120,000 book fairs every year — they included 64 titles in the collection called "Share Every Story, Celebrate Every Voice."
Some books included the biography of Affirmative Action Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Onyika “Brown” Jackson and a novel about a Lakota (Indian) girl.
The evil company said the collection was needed in order to address “book bans” — which are enacted or pending in more than 30 states.
However, many educators and authors called out Scholastic for caving to censorship. Now, Scholastic said they will not offer the 64 titles in book fairs next year and are looking to "find a better way” to combat the book bans.
QUOTE: “We understand now that the separate nature of the collection has caused confusion and feelings of exclusion.” — Scholastic, a leading publisher of children’s books, issuing a statement Wednesday after reversing their decision to make books on race and LGBTQ issues optional at elementary school book fairs. The company’s decision to offer “diverse” books in a separate and optional collection faced widespread backlash online.
Japan dealing with trans madness?
(CNN or theSkimm Thu. 10/26/23) Japan and Sterilization surgery. Yesterday, Japan’s top court ruled it unconstitutional for the government to require transgender people to get sterilization surgery before legally changing their gender identity. The World Health Organization said Japan is one of 18 countries to require sterilization surgery for anyone who wants to change their gender identity. Before someone in Japan is allowed to change their gender, they are required under law to show proof of a gender dysphoria diagnosis and meet five other requirements. The court didn’t rule if transgender people must have transition surgery before being allowed to legally register as the gender they identify. That issue could be next up on the docket.
