Supreme Court CHOKES, OF COURSE!
(Revolver) Supreme Court denies Texas’ SO-CALLED last-ditch effort to overturn the election results in four battleground states that ALLEGEDLY voted for Joe Biden… according to the apparently far-left SCOTUSblog on Twitter.
The supposedly “non-partisan” reporter (perhaps Amy Howe) writes: In a very brief order, the court says Texas lacks Article III standing to sue other states over how they conduct their own elections. In layperson's words: a state has no valid interest, under the Constitution, in attempting to police other states' voting procedures.
A dissenting statement of Justice Alito, joined by Thomas, says the Court is obligated to take up the case which falls in the Supreme Court’s original jurisdiction. Alito wrote that he would “grant no other relief” (which I guess means he wouldn’t stop the election right off the bat) and expressed no view on any other issue related to the case.
(Revolver) Trump unloads on SCOTUS … “absurd” for the Court to refuse standing … they “chickened out” …
Our Real President Donald Trump tweeted: The fact that the Supreme Court wouldn’t find standing in an original jurisdiction matter between multiple states, and including the President of the States, is absurd. It is enumerated in the Constitution… ...They just “chickened out” and didn’t want to rule on the merits of the case. So bad for our Country!
Electoral College to Meet Monday to Cast Votes for President
(The Epoch Times) Members of the Electoral College are due to convene in states across the country on Monday (TODAY), casting votes for the next U.S. president.
In light of claims of election fraud, Trump has called on Republican state legislators to appoint their own electors.
The votes cast on Monday will be sent to Congress to be officially counted on Jan. 6, the final stage of the election process. Once the Electoral College vote is complete, one of the last avenues for a potential Trump victory would be to convince Congress not to certify the count, paving the way for House lawmakers to cast votes for president and those in the Senate for vice president. Under such a scenario, each state gets one vote, with the GOP having a majority in each chamber.
Federal law allows individual lawmakers to challenge states’ electoral votes, which prompts both the House of Representatives and the Senate to debate the objections before voting on whether to sustain them.
Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) has vowed to file challenges when Congress reviews the vote next month.
“We have a superior role under the Constitution than the Supreme Court does, than any federal court judge does, than any state court judge does,” Brooks told The New York Times. “What we say, goes. That’s the final verdict.”
Attention on Jan. 6 is sure to be focused on Vice President Mike Pence, who will be in charge of tallying the Electoral College votes and overseeing any objections.
If objections are filed, each chamber would have two hours to debate the matter, and for the Electoral College votes to be rejected, the Democrat-controlled House and the Republican-controlled Senate would have to agree.

Trump tweeted Sunday
“Swing States that have found massive VOTER FRAUD, which is all of them, CANNOT LEGALLY CERTIFY these votes as complete & correct without committing a severely punishable crime,” Trump wrote in a series of posts on Twitter.
The president listed the types of election fraud he believes allegedly occurred in a number of contested states including Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Georgia.
“In all Swing State cases, there are far more votes than are necessary to win the State, and the Election itself. Therefore, VOTES CANNOT BE CERTIFIED. THIS ELECTION IS UNDER PROTEST!” he added.

(Revolver) Patriots descend upon Washington for “million MAGA march” … (NPR) 33 people were arrested as so-called “counter-protestors” attacked Trump supporters in D.C. Saturday night, into Sunday morning.
The far-left NPR of course falsely accused Proud Boys, based in no evidence, of showing white power signs, pretending the OK sign definitely means white power, even though it’s always been a troll. They also baselessly pretended that the communist Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is any authority on who’s a “hate group,” who accuse Proud Boys of being a hate group, ignoring themselves, BLM, Antifa, and the Democrat Party.

(A somewhat pro-Trump liberal writer Ian Miles Cheong in The Post Millennial) In one clash, at least two Proud Boys or just Trump supporters were apparently stabbed by a BLM-Antifa militant — one Proud Boy stabbed or slashed on his right side. Proud Boys forced the alleged attacker to the ground, and he reportedly got beat up as cops watched lol.
People were reportedly “pepper spraying the s— out of each other.” Antifa’s black bloc violent crew were there, even attacking park police. Proud Boys took a BLM banner, nice. Antifa was throwing projectiles at police. Multiple brawls. Ambulance arrived. What a mess!

(Revolver) Germany cancels Christmas … Merkel plunges country into national lockdown …
(Daily Mail) Germany will be plunged into a new national lockdown for the Christmas period as Angela Merkel makes a desperate bid to drive down soaring Covid infection rates.
The country will be closing non-essential shops, hair salons and schools, and further limiting social contact.
Chancellor Merkel said she and the governors of Germany's 16 states agreed to step up the country's lockdown measures from December 16 to January 10 to stop the exponential rise of COVID-19 cases.
Germany recorded 20,200 newly confirmed cases and 321 additional deaths on Saturday, a high number for the weekend when many local authorities don't report figures.
The seven-day rolling average of daily new cases in Germany has risen over the past two weeks from 21.23 new cases per 100,000 people on November 28 to 26 new cases per 100,000 people on December 12.
With the exception of Christmas, the number of people allowed to meet indoors will remain restricted to five, not including children under 14.

(Revolver) Widespread outrage and panic as Gov. Cuomo shuts down indoor dining AGAIN…
“The hospitalizations have continued to increase in New York City,” said Cuomo, who earlier this week noted that if a New York region’s hospitalization rate has not stabilized after five days, indoor dining will be closed or reduced in that region.
“We said that we would watch it if the stabilization, if the hospital rate didn’t stabilize we would close indoor dining. It is now. We’re gonna’ close indoor dining in the city on Monday,” he said.
