Covid ridiculousness: the Corona Scare
(Drudge) Unexplained gap in deaths appeared in Florida before election… Shenanigans?
“Journalists” in the South Florida Sun Sentinel claim a suspicious pattern suggests that the state may have manipulated a backlog of unrecorded fatalities, presenting more favorable death counts in the days leading up to the 2020 presidential election.
At issue is the state’s handling of the lag between the date someone dies and the date Florida reports that death in the public count. With minor exceptions, Florida quit including long-backlogged deaths in its daily counts on Oct. 24, 10 days before the Nov. 3 election, and resumed consistently including them on Nov. 17, two weeks after the election.
The result: The daily death numbers seen during that time were significantly lower than they otherwise would have been.
The change came just three days after Gov. Ron DeSantis’s administration announced that they’d conduct an additional review of every suspected COVID-19 death before adding it to Florida’s count. SOUNDS FAIR!
(MedPageToday) We know DeSantis has suspected that covid deaths were greatly exaggerated.
George Floyd is an example of someone who died with COVID-19, but not of it. WELL IT’S POLITICALLY USEFUL TO CLAIM THE COP KILLED HIM! IT WAS AS MUCH THE OD AS HIS RESISTANCE.
Perhaps suspicious; how about the other side
BUT WHAT’S INTERESTING IS THERE’S NO MEDIA SCRUTINY ON RUMORS OF MOTORCYCLE DEATHS OR OTHER THINGS BEING COUNTED AS COVID DEATHS!
Oct 27, Forbes reported: Trump Claims Doctors Are Overcounting Covid-19 Deaths To Make More Money; Physician Groups Say Otherwise
Back in July, ABC 10 of Sacramento did an investigatory fact check to VERIFY: Do hospitals get more funding by marking deaths COVID-19 related? Their answer is that hospitals do get funding for covid-related care, which unfortunately includes deaths. They say that: So far, it is unverified that hospitals are falsifying records for financial gain. My personal sense is that if there’s any faint association with Covid, they’ll count it as that. I have no proof other than that doctors are liberals and selfish human beings no different from the rest of us.
Also from July: Orlando, Florida’s FOX 35 INVESTIGATES: Questions raised after fatal motorcycle crash listed as COVID-19 death . CBS 12 said that Despite health officials knowing the man died in a motorcycle crash, it is unclear whether or not his death was removed from the overall count in the state. Orange County, FL, Health Officer Dr. Paul Pino told FOX 35 that one "could actually argue that it could have been the COVID-19 that caused him to crash." LOL!
(MedPageToday) The local CBS affiliate followed up on this report and asked the chief medical examiner for Orange and Osceola counties, Joshua Stephany, MD, about the case. The medical examiner responded that, following the motorcycle crash, "the person was subsequently hospitalized for a long period of time, got pneumonia. It happened to be COVID pneumonia, and they died.... In that case, we did [attribute] it to COVID pneumonia." The man, Jeremy Galloway, was 57.
THEY’RE ALSO NOT BEING HONEST ABOUT OBESITY!

More devastation thanks to MSM, Dem and RINO-enforced Covid Scare
(Drudge) Eight million Americans have fallen into poverty since summer… Checking accounts depleted…
(Heather Long in Wash. Post via Greenwich Time) The U.S. poverty rate has surged over the past five months, with 7.8 million Americans falling into poverty, the latest indication of how deeply many are struggling after government aid dwindled.
The poverty rate jumped to 11.7 percent in November, up 2.4 percentage points since June, according to new data released Wednesday by researchers at the University of Chicago and the University of Notre Dame.
While overall poverty levels are low by historical standards, the increase in poverty this year has been swift. It is the biggest jump in a single year since the government began tracking poverty 60 years ago. It is nearly double the next-largest rise, which occurred in 1979-1980 during the oil crisis, according to James X. Sullivan, a professor at Notre Dame, and Bruce D. Meyer, a professor at the University of Chicago's Harris School of Public Policy.
Sullivan and Meyer created a Covid-19 Income and Poverty Dashboard to track how many Americans are falling below the poverty line during this deep recession. The federal poverty line is $26,200 for a family of four.
The economists say the sharp rise in poverty is occurring for two reasons: Millions of people cannot find jobs, and government aid for the unemployed has declined sharply since the summer. The average unemployment payment was more than $900 a week from late March through the end of July, but it fell to about $300 a week in August, making it harder for the unemployed to pay their bills.
"We've seen a continual rise in poverty every month since June," said Sullivan.
Cash depleting
(Drudge) Checking accounts depleted… (Bloomberg) Americans’ cash cushions have been declining for months, most acutely among low-income households, underscoring the already-precarious financial situation of the millions of people who may soon lose their jobless benefits.
The median household checking account balance surged by 65% after the arrival of stimulus checks in April, formally known as Economic Impact Payments, but balances have steadily declined since May, according to a report published Wednesday by the JPMorgan Chase Institute.
Because lower-income families started with smaller balances, the initial boost from government aid in April had a bigger impact for them. But those balances have also fallen by the most in percent terms, indicating that if the trend continues, the lowest earners will deplete their gains faster than higher earners, the report showed.

(Drudge) Single mom of 6 fined $1k per day for keeping cafe open…
(Fox News) Michigan's health department has been fining a mother of six $1,000 per day for keeping her cafe open in violation of stay-at-home orders issued Nov. 15, documents obtained by FOX Business show.
Amy Heikken, the owner of Café Rosetta in Calumet, is refusing to pay multiple $1,000 fines for keeping her cafe open for indoor dining against state orders, and now she is facing legal challenges.
Erik Kiilunen, a Michigan small business owner who founded the "All Business is Essential" campaign to keep Michigan businesses open and afloat during the pandemic, spoke on behalf of Heikken.
