Supreme Court Requires Lower Courts to Exclude Illegal Aliens From Census Count
(The Epoch Times) Following its ruling earlier this month that allowed the Trump administration to remove illegal aliens from the 2020 Census count, the Supreme Court on Dec. 28 threw out two lower court decisions that went the other way, that barred the government from eliminating that population from the process of allocating congressional seats and Electoral College votes that officially determine the presidency.
In the cases Trump v. Useche from Maryland and Trump v. City of San Jose, California, the Supreme Court vacated the judgments of the lower courts, sending the cases back to those courts “with instructions to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction.”

The unsigned order didn’t explain why the court acted at this time, but referenced its 6–3 decision on Dec. 18 in Trump v. New York.
In Trump v. New York, the Supreme Court punted on some of the legal issues raised, allowing the Trump administration to try to implement its counting policy for now, even though processing of 2020 Census data is expected to wrap up in coming weeks. Existing law requires the president to file a mandatory reapportionment report with Congress, which could lead to reduced federal funding in states with large illegal-alien populations.
The Trump administration wanted illegal aliens removed from the decennial census count to prevent them from having an impact on the apportionment of political power among the states.
NOT READ: States and local governments, including so-called sanctuary jurisdictions, which refuse to cooperate with federal immigration officials, sued to prevent the administration’s plan from moving forward. They argued that President Donald Trump was attempting to interfere with the count and prevent Democratic-leaning areas with large illegal-alien populations from gaining congressional seats. COVID-19 Vaccine Causes Inflammation in People With Cosmetic Facial Fillers
(The Epoch Times) According to information presented during this month’s meeting of a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) panel on Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine, two of four serious adverse events related to the vaccine in a phase three clinical trial happened to patients with the fillers, which are gel-like substances injected beneath the skin to help create a smoother or fuller appearance in the face.
One trial participant received the injection two weeks prior to being vaccinated. The other received it six months prior to the shot. Both experienced facial swelling. The swelling was related to the vaccine, according to Moderna and an investigator.
“It is possible the localized swelling in these cases is due to an inflammatory reaction from interaction between the immune response after vaccination and the dermal filler….” the FDA said to the Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee.
Dr. Shirley Chi, a dermatologist, told ABC 7 that the reaction to the vaccine was immunological.
CDC Sets New Guidance on COVID-19 Vaccinations for People With Underlying Medical Issues

Vaccines approved by the FDA “may be administered to people with underlying medical conditions provided they have not had a severe allergic reaction to any of the ingredients in the vaccine,” the guidance says.

Tulsi Gabbard Says US Should Halt Flights From UK Over New COVID-19 Variant
(The Epoch Times) Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) said Dec. 26:
“The U.S. needs to temporarily halt all flights from the U.K. into the U.S. to stop more infectious mutation of COVID from entering the U.S. This should have been done days ago,” Gabbard, a former Democratic presidential candidate, said in a statement.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Dec. 24 announced that all passengers entering the United States from the UK, starting Dec. 28, must be tested for COVID-19 within three days of their flight.

Biden Condemns Nashville Bombing, Thanks First Responders
Oh gosh. (The Epoch Times) Sleepy Joe said it at a Monday press briefing after the Friday morning Christmas incident. Police officers responded early on Christmas morning to a call about gunshots being fired in downtown Nashville. Instead, they found a recreational vehicle parked outside an AT&T building on Second Avenue broadcasting a message that a bomb would soon explode.
Six police officers from the Nashville Police Department went door to door to evacuate residents. The explosion was major, but no one other than the suspect, later identified as 63-year-old Anthony Quinn Warner, died, and few injuries were reported.
Authorities said Sunday they identified Warner’s remains through DNA evidence. They said he perished in the blast, which damaged over 40 buildings in downtown Nashville (HEY TONY WAS RIGHT, 40 BUILDINGS — DAMAGED, THOUGH...BUT NOT DESTROYED), including a major AT&T facility, which triggered outages across Tennessee and in portions of nearby states.
A motive is unknown at this time and officials believe he acted alone.
Ohio Police Officer Fired After Fatal Shooting of Unarmed Man Andre Hill
Earl mentioned this: (The Epoch Times) Officer Adam Coy was terminated on Monday after bodycam footage showed him fatally shooting 47-year-old Andre Hill (A VERY, VERY LIGHT SKINNED BLACK) last week, who was reportedly unarmed and holding a cellphone (but may not have been showing his hands), and failing to administer first aid for several minutes.

Columbus Police Chief Thomas Quinlan said in a statement on Dec. 28 that, “the evidence provided solid rationale for termination.”
“Mr. Coy will now have to answer to the state investigators for the death of Andre Hill,” Quinlan wrote. “This is what accountability looks like,” he added. NO THAT’S POLITICS. PHONY.
Columbus Public Safety Director Ned Pettus Jr. (who is black) said in a statement that Coy was fired hours after a hearing was held to determine his employment status. (He put out a phony statement too.)
Hill’s family and attorney Ben Crump (OF COURSE! BENJAMIN CRUMP!), in a joint statement, praised the decision to fire Coy. They said, among other things, “We need to redefine a relationship between police and communities of color in which it doesn’t turn deadly for a black person with a cell phone to encounter a law enforcement officer.” SHADDUP!

WHAT HAPPENED
According to a police statement by Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther (45yo Democrat), Officer Coy and another cop responded to a neighbor’s non-emergency call after 1 a.m. last Tuesday (the 22nd) about a car in front of his house in the city’s northwest side that had been running, then shut off, then turned back on several times.
Officers who arrived at the scene saw a garage door open and a man inside, who then walked towards the officers with a cell phone in his hand, while his right hand was not visible, the statement indicated. Coy fired his weapon, striking the man—later identified as Hill—who was taken to hospital and pronounced dead several hours later, with the cause of death due to multiple gunshot wounds.
No weapon was recovered at the scene and a preliminary investigation showed Hill was visiting someone at the home, according to the statement.
NOTE: Not sure whether coy was required to have his bodycam on for a non-emergency call, but the day of the shooting the mayor was calling on the officer to be fired for not turning it on before the shooting; he turned it on less than a minute after the shooting and it was captured.
